I wonder why there is no fring for android. There is a big thread in their forums:

Maybe the dont get enough feedbacK from the android community?! So what do you xda-developer members with an android device think about an online petition?
Alternativly you can hammer their "Your handset is not supported ... yet." form:

You probably have to choose the G1 because its the only Android phone in the list...

We are working on the Android version. It takes time but I can promise you that this version is worth the wait...
Re: Blackberry
Unfortunately it is not possible to develop an application that will play and record audio at the same time on the Blackberry platform, that's the main reason for the lack of a Blackberry version.
I will add a few more Android devices to the waiting list so you can leave your email and we will let you know once it's out.

thank you for your answer. Happy to hear that you guys are onto it. I hope that it is going to be a full version, not crap like skype lite (no voice chat) or any other im app for android (which unfortunatly are all not satisfying, regarding function and quality).

So I have an idea for an app. A pokedex for your contacts that tells you their info. Ex "John Doe, (642)683-593, Found in NY, Type: friend"
The app tells you in a voice. I don't know the first thing about developing so if anyone wants to help out or give me some tips please feel free to message me or reply to this. Hoping for some good feedback on this idea!

Over the last few months i've been working tirelessly on my new App locateonspot and i need help testing.
Locateonspot is an app which lets you to find your family, friends in real time and even car and bike when they parked. It is very simple to use
I would really appreciate some help in testing the app! Its currently only available for android so you will need to ask some of your fellow android friends to download it also! hopefully soon coming to iOS so you can send to all friends on all platforms.

Sorry for the late feedback. I ve just discovered it.
I m giving it a try and i m very happy with it. The app is lightweight and stable. Since Maki app was discountinued, i tried many apps like Folio, hootsuite, metal... hermit is for me the the only one that suits to my needs. Otherwise, many reddit users advise it.
The web monitor option is the only thing i can t manage to understand. Indeed, i looking for how to receive alerts notifications on xda for example and it is a pain because i don t know the css language despit reading the help page one the hermit website.
I continue to investigate and i think i m not the only one in this case. If i find the right way to obtain notification inside hermit, i will back to give the solution.
If you have some specific questions, don t hesitate. I will be glad to give you my feedback.
