[Q] What is the best way of finding an Android developer?

I am not sure where to find a developer for an app. I do not want to start harassing random people. I am looking for someone to develop an Android app that would give people access to docs that I have created and docs that I have the rights too. It would sort of be like a dropbox type app with the option to email, send to dropbox, download to phone etc.
I have looked into writing it myself, but I am in grad school and do not have the time. I am not going to into programming either, so it is not practical for me. I am looking to pay for the app.
I understand that everyone has a "great app" idea. That is why I am willing to pay so there is no loss for the developer. If it is a bust, it is my problem.
I am not sure how it would work, who services app after on market. Do I need to buy a server or do I upload my info somewhere? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi does anyone want me to publish their application(s) or game(s) on the Android market please note though I can only set their price to free, if you have any send me an e-mail explaining the app and why you want it published send that with a few icons (one that's 512x512 at least) and I'll test the game(s) or app(s) and publish them free of charge... but only if I'm satisfied

I can't think of any scenario except when the app is malware, where a developer would want to do this.

if someone went through the hard work of developing an app or game, why wouldn't they just post it on the market themselves instead of having you as the middle man?

I am uncomfortable with this suggestion and the possible ramifications with regards to fraud, malware, taking credit for other peoples work etc.

I just need a simple feed app for android that would update as the blog updates. I am more than happy to give you credit for developing it.

Have app- need good developer

ello all..I have a app on the Google play app store. I have a customer requesting a slight feature change. My app guy is missing in action for some reason has fell off the face of the planet. he has done the simple change in the past, which is putting the customers ip address into a preset connection so that the customer can connect with one touch. I can pay you to make the change. I remember our app guy saying what he does is change the apk to a .zip then unzips and edits the XML file with eclipse? I dont have time or patience to learn. Email or write back for details and I can give you the link to our app on the app store and more detaiks. Also our company needs a bug fixed on our iOS app version as well and so far every developer with a so called "app company" has failed. Looking for some help, have budget
