BACKUP UPDATE 10D root + performance pack + theme (or not MOD) Error Pleae help - LG Optimus 3D

I have installed the backup and everything works fine, but suddenly i receive a google talk authentification error and i am not able to download apps from the google market or to receveive google mails. If i restart the phone it works for some hours and the error occurs again. I use a googlemail account.

For the problem:
You can try these solutions.
1) The automatic synchronization and data in the background is turned on?
If not, both activated and restart the mobile.
2) under "Settings" "Applications" "Manage Applications" " Clear the cache of Google talk and Android Market
3)Make a wipe of DalviK Cache
PS: Radical Solution
Save the program with backup titanium and restore the factory.
"Settings" "Privacy" Factory data reset.

The 1 and the 2 i have still tried, but without succcess. Now ia have started the radical "tour". I hope it solves the problem

[Q] can't prevent apps stopping

greetings,
I have a new GTablet, started with Tap UI version 1.0-2763. email began stopping, so installed clockworkMod Recovery, did backup, installed update.zip, which turned out to be Tap UI v 1.1-3588. email and more stops, so no help. Also, new problem -- even though System Storage sees \sdcard2, the photo, music and video apps don't see the card. So:
1. how can system be cleaned up to prevent app stopping?
2. how to get the apps to include \sdcard2? (Answer: do a Factory Data Reset)
Thank you
If u try titanium backup and clear the data app by app that worked for me

I tried the delete gmail but it wouldn't let me as apps were tied to the account, just back your stuff up and go in clockwork recovery and do a factory/data reset that's the only one I did and its fine now.

For the problem:
It's hard to find a solution since I have no problem ...
But you can try these solutions.
1) You have tried with wifi?
2) The automatic synchronization and data in the background is turned on?
If not, both activated and restart the mobile.
3) under "Settings" "Applications" "Manage Applications" "uninstall the updates and Clear the cache" of Google talk and Android Market
4) The system language is U.S. English by default in the backup.
Can be trying to change if you are in Europe.
PS: Radical Solution
Save the program with backup titanium and restore the factory.
"Settings" "Privacy" Factory data reset.
Click to collapse
1) yes
2) yes
3) made this, but also make a wipe of DalviK Cache
4) made
Now finally it is also connected to Google Talk, and it seems to work!
Good!
Thank again!
So what's different in 10D and erm where was 10C? As I'm still on 10B!!!
hi i have restored and it wont boot so i then restored my original file that was stock and that wont boot either has anybody else had this problem i have root and cwm 4.0.0.9 installed i am currently trying to fix via the lg software updater

gmail/google not syncing (4.2.2)

hey all,
having a strange problem for the past month or so (on both slimbean and beanstalk; several builds of both). my gmail client and contacts sync fine when the ROM is first installed. but after the first reboot gmail no longer syncs (i dont get notified of new emails etc.) i have tried resetting permissions in CWM, that does not help. if i go into the sync settings, under google it always says something like, "sync is not available at the moment". anyone else have this problem? i'm on Rogers fwiw
Same issue here running beanstalk. Open my mail and it says "waiting for sync". I have 2 gmails setup...so to workaround I switch to the other gmail acct then back and then it syncs.
Sent from my SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
here is what i might try:
1. in Settings. Apps. google frameworks: wipe cache, wipe data, force stop. gmail: same..wipe. calendar: wipe ...etc
or
2. in cwm: factory reset. wipe cache; adv: wipe dalvik. mount: wipe system, data, cache. reflash rom and gapps. do not restore after boot up. download new apps
I have tried these options and while they work, the fix is temporary and the problem returns. I am on the 4/17 build of slimbean now, with a full wipe and so far no problems. Will report back in a while.

ok, so the problem has returned and i think i have found what is causing it. after a clean ROM install, gmail syncs fine until i open up the stock browser for the first time (the one with the blue globe). after the browser signs into my google account, gmail no longer syncs or retrieves emails unless i press the refresh button in the program (this only makes gmail display new emails though, doesn't fully sync). at this point, if i go under google account settings, it says sync is off for my google account and there is an exclamation mark next to "Browser". If i try to sync the browser i get "Sync is currently experiencing problems. it will be back shortly".
Any ideas? thinking I will just erase google account data, re add my account then ditch this browser and use chrome (without opening stock browser) until i can figure this problem out.

[Q] How to wipe Android Backup Data from Google servers

Hello
I googled a lot, but so far there is no solution. Is there any way to completely wipe those data (saved wifi passwords, apps,...) off my Google account? Unticking the "Back up my data" checkbox in Backup & reset part of Settings didn't do what it says in the warning:
"Stop backing up your wifi passwords, bookmarks, other settings, and app data, plus erase all copies on Google servers?"
- it didn't erase the copies on Google servers! After doing factory reset and then signing in with Google, everything is back including Wifi passwords. I want to use the Restore and Backup features but right now there is a problem which makes me unable to use wifi on cm 11 rom - because the file that holds wifi settings was poorly written on my stock ROM (and it gets restored to this ROM which doesn't understand it)
Creating a new Google account is not an option for me!
EDIT: I just ran this: $ bmgr wipe *
it returned: Wiped backup data for cache on acct
..didn't work
Umm will it work ?
Ok, problem solved: You need to sync the google account after modifying the settings. I really couldn't find this anywhere and have come to this solution by myself. Therefore I appreciate receiving all credits for it... because nobody could help me

[Completed] Backup to Google how to verify

I have HTC one m8 with Factory Android Marshmallow. Im trying to check if the backup was taken through google.
I have the following settings,
"Settings > Backup & reset > Back up my data" ON
When going to "Settings > Backup & reset > Restore from HTC Backup", another screen opened "HTC Backup" and i press "Restore from backup". As a result a search starts to check all Saved backups. There is only one found with timestamp 12/9/2015 6:50PM.
I need to know if that is the accumulative backup since that time, does it contain all data i need?
I went to Account and Sync, and made sure that all options for google are enabled, and tried to manually sync all accounts but no change to available backups.
Please advice how to force backup and how to verify, i need to factory reset the phone
Hi and welcome to XDA Assist !
The HTC Backup function you use it backs-up what you have selected to the HTC servers , check the internet connection before or whether the backup function works only on wi-fi or not
The restore function refers to same HTC servers not google account
Backing-up to the Google servers is up to the google account that you may have and this must be enabled from settings/accounts/google . This will backup everything that has been marked there , if nothing has been marked then nothing has been backed-up , mark the desired options and perform a google sync from its settings (sync now)
The applications will be not be saved entirely , google servers will only link the installed apps to the playstore from your account and restored from playstore after factory reset and by adding your google account but WITHOUT their data , I mean , without their settings , just fresh apps , only the google play games will restore your progress if the play games sync has been made
Now , I know that you want to have everything restored as before and to achieve that you need either a nandroid backup which can be done from a custom recovery ( more complicated if you never did it but easy if you have time to read) , using Titanium Backup but you need root access or using Helium for non non rooted devices , from playstore , very easy and safe
Good luck !
