Is it possible to convert the og gb leak with bootloaders to cwm

I got the KG4 kernel to work with the new leak, which let me restore my data and flash the deodexed KG6 leak, but once I booted KG6 with the KG4+cwm kernel, it f'd up, so I'd say wait for a proper custom KG6 kernel.
This is awesome but what is the difference between KG4 and KG6 anyone know?

Successfully restored all my Froyo data. Had one force close for the DRM provider app.
Used advanced restore, restored /data partition, then wiped dalvik cache and rebooted.

it doesnt matter if its froyo or eclair, or what rom you are on....heck it almost doesnt matter what PHONE you are on. deodexing is the same process across the board

That I know / understand now! So, won't have that question anymore. In the adb shell command I see it is referring to ext3. I flashed voodoo lagfix injected kernel and somewhere I read it changes it to ext4 or something like that ..is it something I need to watch at least or it doesn't matter too! Also, do you know any other method to deodex? Like through a root app...

why go through all the trouble? just flash a custom rom like cognition....its just like stock with some mods like power button menu and lockscreens....

Frankenstein EC05OCE v1 public beta (its been tested,just want more open opinions).
This is Syndicate ROM Frozen 1.1.0 based,much thanks to the entire ACS gang...
I suggest you Odin the DK28 modem once you are up and running the ROM,I am having much better resuslt then the EB13/EC05 modems.I dont have the time to explain everything thats in it,or post pics atm,but they will be coming soon,the theme is being changed still,so that may change.
Install procedure.
If you are on a SF ROM you can install this on top if you like,it will backup and restore,(please some try this way to see if it works 100%) I suggest doing a factory wipe and wipe caches atleast twice; This version has dual FS support,so you can use older CWM's. Now install ROM (3 versions),once this is done and its al booted up,check to see if the kernel was installed (Im adding the kernel update.zip,I recommend flashing this again to make sure); If the kernel was installed correctly you can then Odin the DK28 modem and enjoy...

I flashed 86mb right over and everything is hitting well... Quick question, Does your MyFrank come with the LP? I was diggin the Honeycomb theme.. Im gonna try and flash that version right over and see whats up... Another question, I was running MyFrank EB13 with the Genocide Kernal... Will this version be more battery friendly? Geno with Myfrank EB13 was kind of a battery drainer....

Nope,ADW won all of my test,well it didnt win all,but it had my highest score. If you want I can make an update.zip if needed,its not hard to add to the ROM if you know how to pull it from the EB13 ROM... Ill make a new thread later. I think this has great battery life with Twilight Zone 1.0.4 and DK28 modem combo,but I suggest flashing the kernel again to make sure its installed.

Which kernal are you using?
I haven't lost root, I have however lost root when flashing the geno kernal over the FrankEB13.. this is what I did and it came right up..
Restore your nandroid,wipe 3 times full, dalvik and cache, then reflash.. It worked like a charm...

i have the kernel lol just didnt get a chance to do it (didnt have access to lin box at the time for the kernel) ill up a rooted /voodoo kj1 kernel in a bit
so u can flash that over whats there
but its running fine atm on ki3 kernel from pervious build ill have the kj1 kernel up in awhile nom nom nom food

There is NOTHING you can do right now to get CM7. It doesn't exist for this phone regardless of what version you are currently on. It's just not there.

Step one, search for the gb starter pack, fbis251 was the op in that thread. follow it to the t.
Then, use odin to flash bhundvens kj6 kernel with voodoo and cwm
Now read around and learn to flash via cwm.
Lastly Install valhalla final either regular or black version (i like black imo)
Please, before you continue, and no I'm not discrediting you, i know this has been said before and i have no way to know if you have or not, but read all the stickies in our forums here, they really are helpful

And just because a phone it's listed as compatible, it don't mean that it's gonna work... I believe there is some work to get cm on this phone since only in November did Samsung release the source.

last ques...i promise...lol
lol...one last question...when i use odin for flashing the bootloaders and kernel...there is 2 files in each one...and in both one file is a pit file and the other is a tar file...where in odin do i put them...on bootloader...pda...phone...?...thats where the instructions dont really tell you...lol...i should be good after this question...oh and the re-partion isnt checked...should i check it...?...thanks for putting up with my noob-ass questions...i think windows is so much easier then android...lol...till next time... ;-)
EDIT : OMG...I DID IT...!!!...I GOT EVERYTHING RIGHT...AND IT ALL WORKS... ... SO...if i wanna try other roms...i just do it the same way...right...i dont have to change my kernal and bootloaders again...do i...?

Why doesn't anyone say "Install valhalla final, valhalla black,""or AOSP Style"""
AOSP Style is a lot better and it has all the features as well as more than valhalla or valhalla black.
ALSO: CM7 is coming along.
