hi all sorry if this question has been asked before i just updated my i-mate jam radio now looking for rom the links inside the big thread dont work the .au one ne ways so can someone plz point to where i can download those files thanks

Its my first post in this forum. I am an student of electrical Engineering in Germany. I just got an XDA neo(WM 5) with my O2 connnection but its all in german. Is there any way to convert it into english or I have to upgrade the ROM. I am new in this PDA world but being an engineering major i would like to delve into technicalities and contributing (later on). Kindly guide me.

Welcome. Start reading wikis and threads. Too many newbies posting questions that are answered 1000th time... READ stickies. READ topics with pages and pages long. Takes a while to read and understand, dont rush into things. do some research. There are risks, take them when you feel comfortible.
Short answer to your question is YES you can get English roms for your device.

The statement above is definitely right, but the answer doesn't match the question....
To be specific: No, you can't change the language without flashing the ROM.

the FAQ says that in order to backup ROM I should have an Unlocked CID. First of all how to check my CID is locked or not? If my CID is locked can I still backup my ROM.I have a G4.

Use the roms with NoVender ID checks just to be safe. You can always try a country specific rom and see if you get the error (something like not intended for this device type error). Not a big deal, as long as you stay with G4 roms and make sure you follow each rom's instruction carefully.

I bought one Htc Touch Pro from Sweden in Swedish language,and i just want to change the language in English?Could anyone explain to me how can i do it ? please explain simple..i search in this forum threads about that but i don`t understand nothing...maybe somebody can give me one thread with screenshots it will be very helpful because i`m not so good in phones.Thank you very much.

Changing the language, you must flash your device with another ROMs. WWE = World Wide English.

thanks i made that step with hard-spl , now you can copy here please one link with one original Rom English?because i don`t know what to choose from there,there are so many...if you want..

original rom s..k I have many crashes after return device from standby my today screen smash colours funny and some other issues
In the moment I use this Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426099 ver. 1.12 and work very very good and reserve you 20mb RAM memory

i kindly asking for help about htc nikki100
problem :
1. im new about this model definitely do not no what to do with it .(honestly)
2. i read some post about niki100 but only i havent seen any spl 1.22 topic
3. main problem is laguage(german ) can any body post some procedure how to change the rom if i should upgrade or downgrade its rom ,any body could post it or upload it .
4 i dont no if its already unlock to our country any body could post or upload procedure and files .

Firmware 2250.21.51201.162
Bootloader 5.12.2250.1
Can I HSPL/RSPL my device?
If i do that:
1.Get DFT
2. Lounch it (do all steps)
3. select ROM Vodafone_DE operator, CV 162 with CID VODAP102
(after that i fing i'll need to do something fith HTC Connection Setup)
After that my phone will be unlocket and i could instal [.xap] files on my device? and it will wark carefully?
Can some Trophy User explane me, what have I do?
