Hi. I've purchased the latest version of SPB Shell 3D for my Thunderbolt, and it's pretty cool looking...still getting used to it (just bought it yesterday). My question...I've read reports that it runs on the Galaxy Tab, and I've actually had the "cracked" version running on my Xoom for a few minutes before the license check, but that was the version before this one. Now that I have the actual licensed version, it just gives me a blank screen. Has anyone had luck with getting it work or is there anything special that must be done? Again, this is the PAID version...not the cracked one. My Xoom is the Verizon 3G version, running the 3.2 Tiamat that's in these forums. Should've mentioned that the cracked version worked on 3.1

Discussion on various forums seems to have uncovered evidence that, despite being listed as having an early version of Manila installed, early Telstra ROMS are in fact operating with a version of Manila 2.5.
Telstra phones appear to be listing Manila version 1.0.1921622.1
Some users with Telstra model HD2s have installed cabs designed specifically for version 2.5 (ie Max Manila, Cookies tabs etc) without incident, indicating that the Telstra phone is operating with a more current version of Manila than it is listing in settings.
The recent Telstra ROM upgrade has fixed this inconsistency.

So, I purchased Order and Chaos when I had my Epic4G. When I got my Evo3D, I downloaded a version hacked to work on any phone. Strangely, when I emailed Gameloft about holding my account until a version for the EVO3D came out, they were okay with my playing on the hacked version.
Anyway, is anyone working on a way to play the new version on the EVO3D, or other phones. Or, is the ipk able to be installed on other phones now? I can still use the Epic4G to get the ipk. I just need to get it from my daughter.
And I'm honestly thinking about getting the Grid10. The Grid10 + case + USB cable is still $20 less than the Transformer (without a case, or the dock), which was the other tablet I'm considering.
Is there any reason I shouldn't get the Grid10? Better price point for similar specs. It can sideload Android APKs, and it uses the Amazon App Store, and the OS is something that really seems to flow nicely in all the hands on videos I've seen.
Since it's based on the Android kernel, it won't be another Playbook or Touchpad, since all Android apps theoretically work on the Grid10. The only thing I'm worried about is all the negative comments I've been reading about Fusion Garage and their previous tablet. I already know I'd enjoy an Android tablet.
I am currently the owner of an original Galaxy Tab, so really, anything is an upgrade at this point (Not having a tablet OS on a tablet is really awful)
This will be my next tablet, I have been watching the Grid10 for a while now. It looks smooth and responsive to the touch. I currently own the touchpad and an Android tablet. I am planning on getting the 3g version. Fast enough for me.
On the @FusionGarage twitter, I asked a few qustions that I've been unable to find answers to:
"@FusionGarage Quick question, is the usb cable a must? Can you sync/transfer files via wifi? "
Reply: "@steckums We are currently working on an application that will sync your content via WiFi, but right now you need the USB cable. "
"@FusionGarage Good to hear. One more: how compatible is it with Android APKs? Is it essentially able to sideload any (honeycomb!?) app?"
Reply: "@steckums Yes, you can sideload any Android app, including Honeycomb apps."

does anyone here have modded rom for this china tablet
APAD2 with call function
i am planning to buy by the end of the month and i want it flashed with better firmware.
please someone help me
So I have heard that GridOS is based on android 2.3. If that is the case how are they running any honeycomb apps? My guess is that older versions of GridOS (pre-production) were based on 2.3 and the production version is based on honeycomb. What are other people's thoughts on this?
I bought the wifi only version - it should arrive tomorrow. I've just read a less than stunning review from Engadget though, so now I'm leery...
Hi Guys,
I bought a TF101 because I was waiting for a TF201 to come out. I played with it for a few days and returned it.
Since there is no word of when TF201 will come to Canada I'm thinking about just going with the TF101.
I had installed FPse and got the ROM for Tony Hawk 2. It was incredibly laggy, and definitely unplayable. I'm just wondering if anyone is using a playstation one emulator, and what their experiences with it are on the TF101. Let me know, thanks!
Our friends over at transformerforums highly recommend PSX4Droid in version 3.0.7, which is free and even open source, but you will not find it on the market (only a high-prized copy I think). The original developer has stopped hosting it as well. I believe, he actually abandoned Android completely due to some struggle with google concerning his publishing on the market. But do some google search, I already found version 3.0.5 which I used on my Desire HD to download on a site called emucr.com.
Interesting, thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out.

Hi. I missed the Humble Bundle that came with this game and was looking into buying it from the Play Store, but it says it's incompatible with all my devices (Transformer Infinity and HTC Legend).
Anyone know why it's incompatible? I'm on stock 4.2.1, rooted, locked. If I can't buy it from the Play Store, is it available for purchase elsewhere (such as the Humble Bundle), and does it run on our tablet?
It's incompatible? That's ridiculous, it runs fine. (perfectly, actually. Has done since this tab came out, it was one of the first games I installed; I loved the PC version.
Probably another case of LDS, Lazy Developer Syndrome. Too lazy to make HD resolutions, no doubt. It's obviously not the tegra 3 as there are several Nexus 7 reviews.
As for where to buy it, I have no idea. You could try emailing the developer?
I got it with the Humble Bundle. Works fine. Finished game. In the Play store, it says not compatible with all of my devices. Not sure how you'd get it.
If you have another android device that can purchase it and you are rooted, use titanium backup to backup on the first device and restore on your infinity.
