Hi. I missed the Humble Bundle that came with this game and was looking into buying it from the Play Store, but it says it's incompatible with all my devices (Transformer Infinity and HTC Legend).
Anyone know why it's incompatible? I'm on stock 4.2.1, rooted, locked. If I can't buy it from the Play Store, is it available for purchase elsewhere (such as the Humble Bundle), and does it run on our tablet?
It's incompatible? That's ridiculous, it runs fine. (perfectly, actually. Has done since this tab came out, it was one of the first games I installed; I loved the PC version.
Probably another case of LDS, Lazy Developer Syndrome. Too lazy to make HD resolutions, no doubt. It's obviously not the tegra 3 as there are several Nexus 7 reviews.
As for where to buy it, I have no idea. You could try emailing the developer?
I got it with the Humble Bundle. Works fine. Finished game. In the Play store, it says not compatible with all of my devices. Not sure how you'd get it.
If you have another android device that can purchase it and you are rooted, use titanium backup to backup on the first device and restore on your infinity.

And I'm honestly thinking about getting the Grid10. The Grid10 + case + USB cable is still $20 less than the Transformer (without a case, or the dock), which was the other tablet I'm considering.
Is there any reason I shouldn't get the Grid10? Better price point for similar specs. It can sideload Android APKs, and it uses the Amazon App Store, and the OS is something that really seems to flow nicely in all the hands on videos I've seen.
Since it's based on the Android kernel, it won't be another Playbook or Touchpad, since all Android apps theoretically work on the Grid10. The only thing I'm worried about is all the negative comments I've been reading about Fusion Garage and their previous tablet. I already know I'd enjoy an Android tablet.
I am currently the owner of an original Galaxy Tab, so really, anything is an upgrade at this point (Not having a tablet OS on a tablet is really awful)
This will be my next tablet, I have been watching the Grid10 for a while now. It looks smooth and responsive to the touch. I currently own the touchpad and an Android tablet. I am planning on getting the 3g version. Fast enough for me.
On the @FusionGarage twitter, I asked a few qustions that I've been unable to find answers to:
"@FusionGarage Quick question, is the usb cable a must? Can you sync/transfer files via wifi? "
Reply: "@steckums We are currently working on an application that will sync your content via WiFi, but right now you need the USB cable. "
"@FusionGarage Good to hear. One more: how compatible is it with Android APKs? Is it essentially able to sideload any (honeycomb!?) app?"
Reply: "@steckums Yes, you can sideload any Android app, including Honeycomb apps."

does anyone here have modded rom for this china tablet
APAD2 with call function
i am planning to buy by the end of the month and i want it flashed with better firmware.
please someone help me
So I have heard that GridOS is based on android 2.3. If that is the case how are they running any honeycomb apps? My guess is that older versions of GridOS (pre-production) were based on 2.3 and the production version is based on honeycomb. What are other people's thoughts on this?
I bought the wifi only version - it should arrive tomorrow. I've just read a less than stunning review from Engadget though, so now I'm leery...
hi guys,
im pretty new to the android os so please excuse my lack of knowledge in this area, but i recently bought the Sanei N10 pretty cheap and its not a bad tablet, battery life is an issue, and so is using the web browser, but other than that, i was prettty suprised with it, considering the cost.
anyway, in the 3 days, ive had it, i learnt that you can pair a Original PS3 controller with it and use it with emulators, and that you need the tablet to be rooted in order to do so. So i downloaded the upgrade to 4.0.4 and made sure it was pre rooted. i download the root checker also to double check. and it is rooted. ive downloaded the sixaxis compatibility checker, and it said my device was good to go, so i downloaded the app on the tablet, and also the tool kit off the website. ive followed the instructions, changed the controllers master bt to match the one in the app. and my controller connects then loses connection. it says my controller is a fake or third party, I know my controller is genuine, cos i modify controllers and have pulled this one apart, plus it also came with the playstation.
what am i doing wrong, or is this tablet not compatible with the controller?
id really appreciate your help on this one guys....
Thanks
I really like the idea of Ouya gaming console. Ive been toying with the idea of buying one as they say that it will be very easy to customize. The problem is that there will be no play store available. This means no gba/gbc/psx/n64/sega roms unless ouya comes out with their own version. This limits its ability to be a game console which will fit my needs. Is there anything similar coming to market?
Do you think the ouya will be hacked to allow custom roms?
You can always sideload apps on the Ouya.. Play Store can be easily installed on it if it is half as dev friendly as they claim..same goes for custom ROM's..

Hey,
Was wondering what everyone thinks of the new Asus Qube?
Engadget hands on
Newegg Hands on
I saw a video that showed it was running Android 3.2.
I can only assume that this there will still be a huge limitation on the apps that are compatible with this device.
I wonder why Google hasn't update Google TV to Android 4.x.x?
This isn't up to the device makers is it?
The video of this device looks promising. I could possibly try and pick one up myself.

Anyone knows why is Note 8 incompatible with this game? Is there any way for me to buy this game for my Note 8?
Thanks.
I got it via (must be rooted) Market Helper. I spoofed my Note 8 to a S3 or something. Paid for the upgrades and I've been enjoying the game thus far! One lame thing compared to the IOS version is there is no online multiplayer only local via bluetooth.
Probably won't help for you to know but it installed flawlessly from the Playstore for me, unrooted latest firmware US Wifi edition.

It's a pity. Looks like I have to go the crack route.
Because our devices are too awesome for this sucking game

Ur the man! I wanted to play this on my S4 and you just got me the solution! Thanked!
That solution didn't work for me. Strangely even when I spoofed it to a N7, it also didn't work though some of my apps started downloading the tablet version. In the end I installed a cracked version. It's s pity they disallowed because the game works flawlessly on Note 8.
Hi,
I was battling with the same issue on my Note 8. I noticed that the Amazon appstore also had Magic 2014 listed so i decided to give it a shot. Apparently the Amazon appstore doesnt check for compability so i was able to download it and the game works just fine. Had some issues with the in-app purchase but that was because I didnt have 1-click purchasing enabled on Amazon.com since i normally use .co.uk.
Lol. I have it installed...
2 months ago or so, when it was released, it worked without any problems. Can not test it at the moment, if its still running, but will tomorrow.

Well good for you. The thing is that not everyone got around to downloading it from the play store before they added the compability check. People were able to install it on phones as well and not just tablets. They probably added the compability check so people could only download it on tablets since everyone and their mother was down rating the app because they were trying to play it on 3.5" phone screens. Obviously things like "designed to be played on tablets" dont matter to people if they are able to download it on a phone.
Now back to the original issue. The compability issue appears to be a problem with the Note 8 since according to some sites it identifies as a Note 2 and thats why the play store says it's not compatible. Apparently there are some bank app's in the US that are having the same issue. I'm not Android savvy so dont know how to check if this is true so just hoping that there will be an update for the device to fix it before this issue gets bigger with other programs.

I can confirm that this still works. Just downloaded it and updated and it's working fine on my Note 8
