I've been working with SuperKid on this. I'm not convinced the video issue is kernel related, but I'm willing to look more into it. Bluetooth is fixed - sort of -- but it's fixed on the kernel end now.

excellent work Cayniarb, keep it up. I'll stick with the test version for now, cuz a phone isn't a phone if you can't make calls But you should know, that your kernels remove the battery drain from awesome AOSP ROMs like MIUI and CM7 and make them better.
Using CM7 ROM: bluetooth, loud speaker, phone speaker, etc, everything works fine. YouTube videos do not work.
However there is one glitch with regards to the headphones as I mentioned in another thread. When you are listening to music with headphones and try to play a video at the same time (or a 3D game etc (I imagine this is again due to video playback as Gameloft games play the Gameloft logo video at startup), or flash content), there is a 'pop' sound and one of the headphones stops producing any sound. Also, it causes DSPManager to force close. This issue remains until the phone is rebooted.
This issue does not happen with the UNITY V2 kernel.
I have no idea how headphones/audio/video are managed in the kernel, but it might be worth comparing audio/video related configurations within the UNITY V2 kernel and comparing it with this one to narrow down the cause of this problem.
I've also noticed that the black screen glitch when turning on the screen or after a phonecall (screen remains black when phone is moved from the ear) does NOT happen with this kernel, therefore if video/YouTube playback is fixed along with this headphone issue, then this would be the perfect kernel!

Both bluetooth and in-call audio are fixed in 1.0.4.1 -- sorry this took so long. SuperKid has a stock version with all the fixes packed into his ROM(s) -- this one is customized in line with the rest of my kernels.

Although it probably won't be 100% anytime soon, there are a lot of users who want a fully functional CM7-based ROM on their Desire S, including myself. Some users have started tweaking the GOAPK CM7-based ROM by the Chinese developer. Add the notification light to the bugs. It doesn't work, not while charging, not for missed calls/ Messages. Also, a setup wizard would be great.

Look what fugutrev just said in the similar thread for MIUI porting :
This one (fengbao linked rom 1.7.8 beta 3) behaves like the previous fengbao 1.7.1 rom. Basically, if you flash the DHD 1.7.8 english pack it breaks the camera, but if you copy the system apks and framework over using adb, its fine. I have it running on my phone with full english UI and apps with camera and volume keys working. Very nice! I'll try to investigate whats happening with the update script and report back.

Looks like the same issue happens : camera break after a flash, maybe they'll find a workaround that can suit to CM7

Well, atm the only serous bug we have is the bluethooth.. i think the theme picker and setup wizard i can fix easly

It uses the AOSP contacts manager and Phone app. I have a kitchen in the works for you to pick and cook an update.zip with the sense apps you want.
So this means theres autolinking by the ICS Contacts app, the lockscreen is also AOSP so yeah you can answer from lockscreen.

I know it requires a kernel that supports it (which is why I haven't stayed on ICS yet).
This isn't based on a T-Mobile RUU....so it wouldn't have the kernel. To be honest, you'll be waiting a long time because leaks don't occur until the development is finalised

Try the latest AGK CM kernel. I flashed it right on top of today's build, so that may be what has helped enable it.

How is this so difficult to understand? If you can't follow the basic instructions in the OP of the ROM thread then you would be better off leaving your phone alone.

Is this same as blisspop ??.. I see most of the bugs similar to the ones I faced in bliss... Strange...but kuddos to the team for the optimization....
Is anyone having issues with audio on CyanideL? I tend to get brief moments of 'static' when listening to music. Just little fuzz/buzz moments which last half a second or less, appearing to happening at random. Strange thing is that this happens on Spotify Premium and in Poweramp with good quality Ogg music, but not in Soundcloud... Just need to check whether it's the ROM/software or my phone as this OPO is less than a week old!
Edit: appears to be happening on both headphone and loudspeaker output.
No issues with music downloaded to phone I don't use spotify I stream to blue tooth and Use wired head phones no issue.

This seems like a hardware issue then. I suppose I could try and revert to stock and see if the issue persists to be sure of that. I just don't want to put up with faulty audio for the next year and a bit!

That's exactly how I'd describe it actually, it's a bit of a stutter. I wonder if anyone else is having a similar issue. I'll download the stock firmware and flash that I think...

Okay I seem to have fixed it. I disabled boefella kernel sound affect and audio fx app is disabled. I also raised my cpu and gpu speeds in the boefella kernel settings since I was underclocking.
Okay, sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you get the lock screen and desktop to have the same wallpaper? I've played around in the settings but can't seem to find it.
How is battery life on this ROM? Any bootloop when using themes?

System UI Crash
I am getting a system UI crash whenever i am using the phone and i get a notification on Hike Messenger. No crashes whatsoever with any other app. Any ideas?
Also, kudos to @mr-cook for the great ROM. Most stable 5.1 ROM i have used.
First of all thank you for this amazing ROM. It's perfect for my needs.
With clean flash, oxygen modem, no xposed & stock kernel i found few problems:
- For me screen off gesture for flash is not working, but for camera is working as expected
- Also for options to disable privacy guard notifications, it still show notification. So for now i need to hide it one by one.
- And the last thing, i don't know if it's from the ROM or anything else. But for me the cLock widget font for the clock is too small, even after i resized it.
I hope you can take a look for my problems, if there's anything that i can provide please tell me.
And also i have a feauture requests to have options to disable power menu in secure lockscreen. Like the options for quick settings.
Other than that, eveything works perfectly and i believe this is the perfect ROM for me, no FC and very stable.

Its my first post on XDA, this ROM is beautiful and i also got the previus versions. but with this last, the Audio FX app doesnt work for me. i do a clean installation wiping all .... thanks

I just started using this ROM since yesterday on the recommendation from my friends on the OnePlus forums.
I've tried quite a few known ROMs out there and am really impressed by this one.
The only feature I am missing is having the option of selecting Priority Only on the sound panel in the power menu or having a tile for it in the quick settings. Aside from that, this ROM has everything one can imagine .

If you are working on updating the kernel, please consider adding sound tweaks to boost speakerphone. On the OnePlus One the speakerphone volume is really low when using it for a phone call, and the tweak in AK kernel helps it.
I love your ROM, but unfortunately have to use to with AK just because I need this tweak.

Okay... first of all I flashed the rom and everything is so smooth and great.
Here's the bugs I found (I tested this rom on my SM-N9000Q model and CAN'T say that you will see these bugs on SM-N900):
-Wi-Fi is not working*
-Bluetooth is not working*
-Night light is not working
-OS is not detecting SIM*
-Phone keys are a little weird (but if you use on screen keys it'll work perfect)
-Stock camera app CAN take pictures but CAN'T record videos
-Auto-Rotate is not working*
-Audio is not working*
*I think these are more important than others to fix but it's your choice. I'll keep using until night and if I find more bugs I'll let you know.

I have found where the errors are now I will make a new compilation to fix them I did a few tweaks on the ril I hope it works

Tested the ROM seems the smoothest so far, but sadly there are bugs as mentioned. In my ha3g model Bluetooth crushed as soon as the start up menu came up. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no sim card detection. Waiting for new updates. Hopefully one day this ROM can be stable. Thank you so much developer the fact that this phone even got android 10 ROM is great I always thought android 7 was it and no new ROMs but you came and you brought your magic with you! Thank you!

There are problems with ril and bluetooth in samsung hardware, they may not be gone, but I added new ones instead of selinux and wifi drivers, I will present the new structure today.
