[Q] Quick Data, txt usage and billing widget - Samsung Infuse 4G

Is there a widget to quickly send dialer codes to carriers? I would like to just click on a widget and not have to look up contact info or try to remember what the number digits are.
It would be nice if there was a widget I could place on the screen to quickly send a dialer code to the carrier and get a text message back with usage stats.
A programmable widget that you could enter dialer codes would be nice.
For AT&T:
Billing: *225#
Data Usage: *3283#
I'm sure there are plenty others.

you can make shortcuts to contacts on the home screen

That should do it
Thanks

Gmail Widget - For Labels, Not Inbox?

Not sure if this is an App limitation, or I missed the option, but is it possible to make the gmail widget select a specific label to display, or even an all mail option?
I guess I'm too organised in having almost all my mail feed into labels except the unexpected/boring ones, and now I don't get to have them display in widgets.
Ideally I'd like to have 2 or 3 full height widgets showing my most used label's new mail for quick access.
If the stock app can't do this, does anyone know of a replacement app or widget that can?
I spent a lot of time trying to find such a widget on my Desire phone and finally found the GMail Label Notifier widget.
It works brilliantly on my Desire; each widget can be associated with any label in any GMail account and it will take you to that label & account when you click on it. Each widget also shows the unread count as well as giving the ability to define a different vibrate & ringtone per label.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on Honeycomb but I suspect that it may work if you're rooted because of something I have read elsewhere. I'm not yet rooted but if you are, you could try. I'd really like to know.
The developer states that you can try it on Honeycomb and if it doesn't work to contact him and he'll refund. I contacted him less than 24 hours ago but he has not yet replied.
If we can get it working on Honeycomb it is really a great widget. As far as I know its he only one that has the 'per label' feature.
Thanks for the reply.
I have looked into GMail Label Notifier, but I was hoping for proper widgets that showed the actual mail's subject and first few lines of text. But beggers can't be choosers.

[WIDGET] Message Widget

Hi all. I have been looking for a very simple and not too large SMS Widget that I could place on WidgetLocker. Since I could not find any that would fit my needs (especially only being 4x1 max), I created one on my own.
I would like you to install this widget if you were looking for the same thing and kindly ask you to give me some feedback, what you would expect, or what could be improved.
Currently, the widget displays all SMS that it finds. This is planned to be only unread SMS. But I thought for testing purpose it's easier like this. The idea is to fully hide the widget once no unread sms are here (just looks better in WidgetLocker).
Features (v0.1.0):
automatic monitoring of SMS
hide the widget, if there are no sms.
Browse all sms
Automatically scroll Names.
Will display the currently displayed sms throughout all widgets (if you browse, all the widgets show the same sms).
Planned Features / Improvements
Easier button pushing
Auto scroll of text
Basic configuration (colors, disabling of features)
Themes for widget.
Mark SMS as read from widget
Delete SMS from widget.
Project page: http://code.google.com/p/messagewidget/
Many thanks in advance!
PS: Since this is my first android app, I was not even sure, if I signed it correctly and so on, so please be a bit patient!

HTC Sense Refugee - Looking for Help with TouchWiz equivalents

As a recent refugee from HTC Sense, there are a couple of features from HTC Sense that I'd love to be able to replicate on the GSIII.
#1 - to help with conference code entry, on HTC Sense if you click on a phone number from an appointment entry, the dialer is displayed with the phone number populated, you click call, and when the call is connected the appointment entry is shown in the space above the number keypad so that you can see the appointment details including conference call codes
#2 - is there an equivalent widget to the 3x3 contact favorites widget included with HTC Sense that allows you to set a default # to dial for the contact and/or display the contact full details?
#3 - can you set homescreen shortcuts to individual mailboxes? i.e., i have 3 different ActiveSync accounts and I like the ability to have a unique shortcut to get to each one (even better is if the shortcut shows the # unred for each mailbox)
#4 - suggestions for a HTC Sense like dialer? the TouchWiz dialer takes more clicks to find contacts than I recall from Sense
Thanks so much for the suggestions.

Don't know all of these, but i think I can make a few recommendations.
For your dialer, I would try a 3rd party one. Some should be a little smarter than the touchwiz one. Search for a dialer in the playstore and try them out.
If you want shortcuts, Nova or apex launcher allows you to make many more customizations than the stock touchwiz launcher. I'm pretty sure you can set specific shortcuts for your mailboxes through them.
Touchwiz definitely has its limitations, those widgets sound pretty cool. I don't know any widgets off the top of my head that are equivalent.

[APP] Contacts on lockscreen widget

Hi, i would like to announce my new app Contacts on lockscreen widget.
This widget allows you to add contacts on the lock screen.
Just one click - on contact icon, and phone will call selected contact. No need to unlock the screen, even if it is locked with pattern / photo / PIN!
There are 2 sizes of widget for lockscreen, and 3 sizes for home launcher.

Dual-SIM Dialer and Messaging

Hi all. I just added a second number to my phone (Galaxy S21). This is my first experience with dual sims.
What dialers and texting apps would you recommend for use with two numbers on the same phone?
What I really want is to have two separate apps (or two instances/variants of the same app?) handle the separate numbers. So: have two phone icons on my home screen and two messaging icons on my home screen. One phone icon opens a dialer dedicated to one number. Ditto for text messaging. I can imagine an app that can make this possible by using widgets instead of direct app icons, but I'm not sure that such an app exists.
Appreciate your thoughts.
