When i had KD1 rooted, Voodoo worked perfectly, but as i transitioned through KF1 it still worked. Then KF2 and KG4, it says no voodoo support kernel? Should i flash the Bali kernel to get voodoo to work, also does the SGS Kernel Flasher in the market work for our device?
our phone doesn't have any custom kernels for gingerbread

Maybe?
Try the Bali 2.1 kernel

it wouldn't work with gb. can't flash anyways. no cwm.
Until there is source for the GB kernel there won't be support for this.
I made a thread asking about bali on gb krylon said bali is a froyo kernal.

there is a modified kf1 kernel made by chainfire, and according to chainfire the only reason why it wont flash onto our GB rom is because of the encrypted bootloaders
kh2 fugu tweaks from the deodexed rom leak. cwm flashable
credits go to Krylon360, Chainfire, Whitehawkx, and chadster
Flawless.... 2nd quadrant run... Redux v. 1.1

Thanks, do we flash these on top of KH2 ROM??
Can this be flashed over Kg6?
For froyo only, I believe.

You never need fugu tweaks on GB cause we get them from GB, so yes, Froyo only. I don't think the files have changed between builds but you can check yourself. Get the app_process from kg6 onto your computer and run diff on the kg6 files and the kh2 files and you'll know if they're the exact same.
Hi, I just decided to Odin back to official 2.3.6 to sell my phone, but now have decided to keep it as a back up phone. How can I get CWM and Voodoo lag fix while keeping stock kJ6 kernel. I basically want a Final stable kj6 version of drhonk's KJ1. I want to keep KJ6 because I want to use FB's debloater. Thanks.

You can't have stock KJ6 kernel and voodoo lag fix.
Just as a heads up since you are using GB you can use an app in the market, sgs kernel flasher, to flash whatever kernel you want.
I can't seem to get voodoo sound to run on stock AOKP M5 with stock kernel.
I bought the voodoo sound plus, but when i load the driver i get a ''voodoo sound driver loading error''.
I'm rooted and it has the correct permissions etc.
Anyone have any success with this?
Perhaps the stock kernel doesn't have voodoo settings? Not really sure. The first thing I do is flash a kernel and voodoo everything is working fine for me.

Yes but i thought the whole point of the paid version of voodoo is that it loads the necessary drivers into the kernel :S
Doesn't AOKP on our phones have Pete's kernel as stock? I thought one of our members had the module loaded for Voodoo with Petes kernel.

No idea about the kernel, but definitely not working :/
Bumping this as i'm desperate.
AFAIK, voodoo module only loads on stock ICS kernel, not pete's. But check his thread in development, I remember there was a debate about it some time ago, don't know what was the conclusion.
Although if you're a fan of a stockish kernel, load up SimpleKernel from terryhau, it's built from stock ICS sources and has Voodoo & BLN added.
I am currently running Infused 1.60. In the about section it says Kernel version 2.6.32.9. When I flash another kernel like defuse or community the about section still says 2.6.32.9. Why didn't it change ? I disabled lagfix before flashing. I tried with CWM and odin.
Thanks
Some here what did u use to flash?
oh ya got a stock gb kernel?
