hey people post ur battery status ! rate it out of 10
Thanx i was worried abt battery
the battery is really good
i can use it for 2 days of medium use & 1 day of heavy use
9/10 for me
With wifi on 3/4 of the time and cell polling every 15 minutes (using llama) battery at 10% after 26 hours would give it 9/10 too, btw using virtuous unity 1.29.0.

s-offed and rooted stock rom - 43% batt left after 25hrs. Some calls, few txt messages, couple of emails with photos attached, some internet browsing over wifi and 3g.
10 out of 10 from me...
I use my DS surf the web and handle the documents and play games about three hours everyday. I must charge every night. Depressed.

Here are my stats...
Tested ROM: Virtuous unity 1.31
Use: Light to medium (airplane mode through the night - WiFi off when leaving home)
Kernel: 28iAU
7 out of 10
The above will give me about 36 to 48 hours of battery... Currently downgraded and testing virtuous unity 1.29 which looks more promissing regarding batterylife.

Have you looked at what battery stats are when in air plane mode as I always found that they are worse than when just having phone on

I think disabling wifi and auto sync at night does a better job at battery conservation, I was able to last 6 hours overnight with battery falling 5%. If I charge it up full before unplugging and leaving overnight, it would stay at 100% for around 7 hours.

Totally agree, that's exactly what I do.
I don't know where the bug is kernel, rom or radio but it appears to exist across all roms that I've tried

Settings> Audio> pocket mode off, vibration feedback off, other stuff that might use the proximity and the G sensor off.
Also check your installed apps some of them tend to stay active even after you "quit" them (you can't actualy quit). Download "system panel" for that, and you will see in te left of an app if it uses the cpu Even if an app is there is not actualy draining battery, only if it uses the cpu.
So don't use task killers, they will only drain you more battery.
I keep my screen on auto brightness, and i still get 2 days.
Hope i helped you.

I get really really good battery life
At least much better than stock!
I'm using LBC mod, the newest released version works wonders for the battery!

I used to have this problem constantly. I'm not lucky when it comes to battery life.
Could be the battery. Try LBC v0.6 and get setcpu. See if that helps if you haven't done so already.
Unity kernel sucked my battery dry.

Have you tried the tiamat kernel? Also, I recommend investing in Tasker to squeeze the most out of your battery. Simply having it automatically go into airplane mode when you sleep helps. Get it (like me) turning auto-sync on for 2 minutes every 15 minutes aswell, and you get over 24 hours battery with heavy use.

On second inspection. Yes LBC is still draining my battery dry. You're not alone. It's beautiful when screen off, but as soon as the screen is on, and its like 1% per minute. Scary.

I had this problem when still on stock ROM and had a few widgets collecting data in the background. It wasn't all that severe though; I had to charge the phone once a day. Since I installed LBC mod, I only have to charge the phone every two days
Use this to track down the battery drain...
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.asksven.betterbatterystats
And/or this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1031124
If it's data traffic related this'll point you at which specific app is using it...
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.radioopt.widget&feature=search_result
Then either un-install the culprit, or try different kernel, or freeze the sucka using Titanium Backup. See if that helps. Either way, would be interested to know what you discover.
1% per minute is scary drain I agree. Something not quite right there. You're not OC to silly levels are you?
Yes, the new lbc ROM gas a drainage problem... Mine was dropping very fast. Switched back to leedroid, great battery life again! (Stock kernel) I also use setcpu
I reckon it could last me 2 days moderate usage, and 3 light usage!

Hey guys... I just wanna know how long does it take your sensation to drain your battery while your screen-on... I have my brightness set to 50% and after 2 hours of screen-on, the battery is dead... I mean full charge to shutdown... Please share your experience and some advise to improve this... Thanks in advance...

Depends on other factors too but my screen on time usually falls somewhere between 3-4 hrs. However, like I said that is not the only thing effecting your battery life.
Well, watching a 40 minute TV show on mine uses 20% of battery with screen set to 100% brightness, so 2 hours should leave about 40% of battery.
This would suggest there's either something else using your battery, or there's something wrong with your phone/battery
5 hours if I'm really conservative with the brightness.
Sigh... i guess there is really something wrong with mine.. and i can't really find what is eating my battery... When it's idle with 3g on, it does not consume anything at all, may be just 3% for 3 hours.. but when i start to turn on the screen, battery life begins to drain so fast...and that is only at 50% brightness... This is just frustrating.. anyways, thanks for sharing guys... Much appreciated

It really depends on how u use ur phone, like me for ex. I use it as a music player also, so say when I'm driving I'm playing music bt screen is not on so by the time actual screen time is on, batt will have drained some thus giving me less display time per charge. (or playing a game). There's been a time I got a lil over 4 hours bt dint play music/games tho. And my fone is always on auto brightness

Not sure what I could have done but since yesterday my battery life has been nuts. I installed and am using a livewallpaper but that's it. Phone has been on for 5 days and it just got better yesterday. Is it even possible that lwp could help battery life?
Doing well today too will post screenshot later on. I've been using it as normal so its not due to change in usage at all. Again the only link I can find is the lwp!!

I'm pretty sure live wallpaper won't be saving you battery, having a constant animation on your background is only going to increase your CPU load and RAM usage, which will surely impact on your battery life.

It simply looks like you've been on wifi a lot. It's known that being on wifi puts A LOT LESS strain on your battery than does using the network.
Same here battery life is not as good as expected but I guess there's not much we can do, either buy a much bigger capacity battery or be contended with what the stock could offer.

My sensation actually drains battery less whe its using somehing or on. This happen on pyramid3d. And miui frm tripndroid. Illike I'll listen to mussic for 1 hour, and it will be 100 to 96. And when I let it standby, it will go to like 88 in a hour. Is this normal?

I had an issue similar to this. Every other day the battery would drain in half a day (when usually it would last a good 12 hours +)
Under the battery usage tab it was showing the phone as being awake for almost all of the time (Even though I hadn't used or touched the phone)
I think it was a Kernel issue (Correct me please if I'm wrong, just a small time n00b) As I was using the stock shipped rom but just rooted.
Anyway, upgraded now, and it seems to be ok so far! *touch wood*
Would suggest you look under the battery usage graph and see what that tells you.

You could've installed a bad app. Faulty/bad apps will stop the phone from sleeping. Look for apps that (when you install them) list that they can prevent the phone from sleeping in the permissions list.
If you've not installed too many, remove one at a time, leave for a while, and then check battery section in Settings to see if it's no longer staying awake.
If you find the app, contact the developer through the market so they can fix it.

Today I was on it literally all damn day and had over 3 hrs screen on time with 8hrs off the charger before I hit 60% battery. That was with a ton of web browsing, FB, xda app. Made some calls and used skype for a while too. I'm sure I could have hit 5 hrs easy if not more on the charge but I plugged it in when I got in my car. I thought I had good battery life before but that blew my mind.

Here are settings on my phone. And, I am down to 87% with 55 min screen usage (surfing xda) and 2 hour idle.
I don't use any 3rd party taskers/battery savers etc. Also, I don't download an app that is just a mobile website. I noticed that some apps are badly coded and consume more battery than their mobile site. Browser is optimized well. Also, default browser is better to juice than Chrome Beta.
Brightness % toggle is set for 10 25 50 100. I mostly use 10 25 and 50.
I keep data off when at home or work - 90% of the day.
I use fm radio app rather than streaming radio app - tune in when I can. Saves a tonne of battery.
