Hello, i followed the full topic by hidavi about the p6500. I work for a phone company and just received a HTC p6500,
does the firmware still have to be dumped or isn;t this necesarry anymore?

dude you've started threads for every problem you've had, all of which are answered in the WiKi... not to mention that when people DO answer your questions simply you still don't seem to know what they are talking about... maybe you shouldn't be flashing roms.

Ok I just researched it for you 1.56 is fine.
is not ok.i was in a shop and i veryfy bootloader for original device.
is ok for me now.thx for all peoples help me and for rest off them.

Can someone, please, explain me in easy steps what i need to do? i know it;s not hard, but....

HARD SPL MEANS YOU HAVE TO TELL THE PHONE TO ACCEPT A ROM CHANGE THE SECURITY ON THE PHONE AND LOSE YOUR WARRENTY.
U NEED TO RE READ THE INFORMATION ON THE CHANGING ROM. IT VERY IMPORTANT UNDERSTAND AND GET IT RIGHT IF YOU GET IT WRONG YOU CAN BRICK YOUR PHONE.
HAVE YOU CHECKED THE WIKI IF YOU DONT FIND A ANSWER TRY THE SITE BELOW THE HAVE DOCUMENTATION ON CHANGING ROM

Hi people...(sorry for some errors in the english)(i'm from portugal)
I have a Htc touch pro with some problems...(the space and other letters only work with very pressure and the phone at times restart alone)
I have buy the phone in miau.pt from other person and at this time i have warranty at least 1year and 3 months...
I have search in this forum but I don't have found a similar case...
I have send the phone for warranty, thinking that the phone was the original software...
The guys said that the phone don't have the original software, and not give any warranty...
I want try to put the phone original and send other time to warranty...
Do you help me with this? I don't have much experience but I have to learn and try...
I don't now what the guy have modified...
I have read that is possible to modify spl,radio and rom...
I only want the phone original to win green light in the warranty...

I don't have the phone right now but, the people of warranty gonna send it to me. I have to wait a litle for the phone arrive in my adress...
In this space of time a want to learn how to put the phone 100% original to pass in the warranty...

You should be able to just download a stock ROM and flash it.
Did you installed EZ Input 2.1?
I had problems when I tried that.

The phone was of other guy and I don't know what they instaled to the phone...
I think, a original rom (can you give me a place? I have search but I don't know really sure if was original or no) and I don't now if there is something more to do for the phone to comes all original...

What is the really place that have the original or stock rom's?
How I'm sure that the phone is totaly original to pass in the warranty service?

you need to download the stock rom that the phone would have had when it was bought new. i have no idea what one it would be as i dont know what service provider you are with. find the stock rom and flash it, then youll be good to go
what is the way to know what rom download?

I guess the former owner don't touch in the HardSPL..
If the rom flashed is realy the original hurts the phone?
As it for warranty reasons, I did not want to unlock HardSPL.

I would like to try the megam ROM my doubt is, is it possible to come back if something doesn't work to the original ROM? And if yes how? I read someting about oli pro, but it's the first time I tried ti flash a PDA so please hel me.

yes..it´s possible...just look in my thread under steps...or i think salvy (megan rom) have also a link to the original rom....and flash hardspl before flash another rom..it´s a must have...
