Searching for compatible screen protector to go with my ballistic sg - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hello!
Does anyone with a Ballistic SG case use a screen protector, and if so, which brand/model do you guys use, and where did you buy/how much? I just need to make sure its compatible and it won't get pushed out by the case. Thanks alot guys!

I've been using the Ballistic case with a Zagg Invisible Shield for a couple months now with no problems.

I bought very nice, high quality screen protectors from Amazon for 20 cents each plus the USPS postal charge (~.50 cents). They come each in packages or lots of 5.
The screen protectors are for the HTC Inspire and fit very nicely on the Infuse with or without a case.
http://www.amazon.com/Inspire-Premi...VNV8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311891820&sr=8-1
These are high grade screen protectors.
Everyone should know about this... Premium Screen protectors for 20 cents each.

Me too. Got it with the infuse at best buy

I use the anti-glare anti-fingerprint Ivisor from Att with Ballistic case. Works great so far.

I use ishieldz, its a lot better in my opinion (Same as invisibleshielf from Zagg). The ishieldz seem to be less thick on the phone and you can run your finger along them better than the zagg in my opinion.

Corning Gorilla Glass... Screen protectors aren't necessary. A ran over my captivate with a 11000#(eleven thousand pound) forklift and nothing happened; not intentionally. I used the phone for another six months and sold it for a couple hundred bucks. I expect the same quality out of the Infuses.
Enjoy your 4.5" screen-protector free... And save a couple bucks.

Haha let me know if i got it right....
you drove OVER you captivate with a 11 thousand pounds machine(idk if thats the weight of the machine or the max lifting weight, yet thats gotta be heavy)

and the phone didnt craked open INSTANTLY??
I damaged badly my previous infuse screen just by stepping over it by accident a few times... and im not even 160 pounds
:O not only good screen quality that phone is undestructible!
But.... i DO agree on the NO need of a screen protector if you dont want your screen " scratched",you would need to apply a great and unnecesary force to get the corning gorilla glass scratched.

the t-mobile ones are junk... most people will tell you you dont need one... as the screen is nearly indestructable.... my vibrant had micro scratches and a small chip from 6 months of daily use. so I recommend using one. that said a good one is the realook is pretty decent...
http://www.amazon.com/T-Mobile-Samsung-Vibrant-Premium-Protector/dp/B003WL4W6M
as you can see its for the vibrant... so no opening for the FFC... i dont think it should be a problem but if it is im sure a well placed hole punch would solve that problem.
Thanks mavictb... And yea this ones I got junk... Now the following question is going to make me look like idiot but this phone have "Gorilla Glass"?
P.S.
The box didnt say it and thats the only way I would not put a screen protector on this phone.

What's the best screen protector for reading ebooks for many hours on a Super AMOLED/Gorilla Glass screen?
I am thinking of going without the screen protector but would rather not. (I don't have the phone yet.)
I have an anti glare on my Nokia LCD phone and it really plays wonky with my eyes (swimming waves and such.)
Should I go with some kind of matte protector or something else? What about for my LCD screen on my current G2? Any difference?
Thanks mavictb also that is a plus that its similar to "Gorilla Glass".
And ill definitely get those screens on my SGS4G.
Anyways will on the topic anyone heard of that new "Mmetallic Glass" some scientists in California made?
It's not that it is the equivalent to Gorilla Glass, it is Gorilla Glass. The following phones have Gorilla Glass: every Samsung Galaxy S series phone, iPhone 4, & the Motorola Defy.
http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/24/samsung-galaxy-s-sporting-gorilla-glass-to-protect-that-precious/
I have the Realook screen protector on my phone and I am not happy with it. I am going to replace it with Zagg. Check out their demonstration videos, it really works.

Zagg are the best IMO. Very minor "orange Peel" and extremely durable. It dries to crystal clarity as well. I tried the other major brand and the orange peel was horrendous to say the least.

I'd skip the zagg , had a bad experience with it during my ios days, they never honored my lifetime warranty and it easily scratched. I suggest bodyguards, its similar to the zagg but comes with 2 full body protectors plus lifetime warranty. you just gotta pay $5 and they send you a replacement and once you get it you send your old one back. MUCH better deal if you ask me.

So this weekend i got rid of the crappy screen protector i got at T-Mo when the phone came out and got the Zagg and well yes the colors on the screen look as good as it didnt have a protector on it unlike the T-Mo ones that made the colors of the screen dull. This issue i have with the Zagg is the air bubbles and that for 20$ i only got one F-ing protector... I will keep on looking for other screen protectors or if not i think ill go bearback ( LOL! ) and let the Gorilla Glass do its thing and see how it goes.
I'm surprised you have air bubbles. Any tiny ones usually disappear in a day or two. Did you have it wet going on? By the end of the day I put mine on it was totally settled in on the screen.
As for the price, you'll find it outlasts the "three-fer" ones by at least three times.
I'm sorry you're not thrilled. I believe they have a very generous refund policy.

The best thing to do with the zagg is get it installed in your local mall usually they have kiosks that do it for you. They do it perfectly, so it's probably your best bet.

Only thing you guys might not like the "orange peel" look. I've never had a screen protector with orange peel so I'd like your input. And I don't want a screen protector from T-Mobile. Those are horrible and give the matte grainy effect.

I called Otterbox and unfortunatly he said they do not have plans to make case for G2x as LG never sent them sample empty case. He said LG is SLOWWWWWWWW with supplying them with there phones. He said that dependent on them getting sample then its a couple more weeks till ready for production. So dont hold our breath. UGGG
trust me this is a dual core phone an otterbox case will be made for it, it was just released so it might be may or june before we get it
Love the Zagg Invisible Shield. Will be ordering it for mine in the next few days. I've tried some of the other less flexible and 'cheaper' protectors but could never get them to install perfectly. Always had a bubble or some dust or something no matter what. The Zagg is great because you thoroughly wet the surface and the film allowing you to move it, remove it and reinstall (until it dries of course), etc.
About to order this from them...
http://www.bodyguardz.com/t-mobile-g2x-cases-screen-protectors-covers-shields-skins-films.html
Use coupon "PROTECT" to get 10%. What searching thru Google does. ;D
I'm using the Zagg now. It's great.
Although If you happen to get the bodyglove case for the phone it does cause the screen to push and bubble up at 4 of the snap in places on the case. As long as you don't need to take the case constantly on/off you'll be ok.
-1 for Zagg. Protects well but always needs to be wiped and is not at all smooth. Took mine off after a month.

Before putting on a skin, I scratched my N1 even though many were claiming that as durable. I wish there was a real side by side comparison of that against the Gorilla Glass.

Does anyone still love their screen protector?

Zagg HD was good for a few days and then started bubbling at the top and was easily nicked up.
Skinomi will always have microbubbles.(bad batch) Have tried 4 at 2 plus days each.
Please note what is actually working and where you purchased it.
please help before I go insane.
Leave the Skinomi alone for at least 3 days. I bet the speckles will disappear.
Had a dozen devices, never used a screen protector and never will.
Over the years had zero scratches
Had a Skinomi purchased from their website since I received the phone on May 4th. Have had no problems at all. Love it.
still rocking the skinomi on mine as well. no bubbles or anything here. it cleared up within 8hrs of putting it on.
Believe it or not but the best luck with screen protectors I've had, as far as durability and application, is with the AT&T branded ones (I think they're actually iFrog or something). The only problem is that they are "anti-glare" so I ended up going "bare" for a while but my nerves got the best of me and now I'm using a Zagg "Dry" Invisibleshield. The Zagg is starting to "peel" at the edges and it actually scratches pretty easily so I might just go back to the AT&T ones.
I agree the AT&T ones fit well but sucks cause its anti glare, at least it's not much fingerprints, and at least I know in my head there's a beautiful screen under all that graininess
I had the att anti glare and it would not sit right bc of the screen curve. Now have zagg and its nice but far too grippy. Suggestions ?

X2. I've been using it after scraping many different screen protectors (Skinomi, ATT, SGP Oleo, generic).
No scratches so far, and I've dropped it twice. Fantastic stuff!

Screen Protector?

Just wondering if you use one or not on the GS3. My first GS3 didn't have one on it, and it magically gained 3 large scratches in the screen (always was left in a pocket alone, nothing else). I had one on my 2nd GS3, but I am now on my 3rd (2nd one had dead pixels) and wondering if I should just rough it out without one, or get one again.
Also if you got one, where from, and how do you like it?
Thanks
I got one from my bro so i dont know what brand it is. But i can tell you it came in a pack of like 3 and it sucks. Rainbow affect ruins the screens potential. Look like its kinda snowy and the feel isnt nice

After looking at this, I think I will buy some. Thanks for the recommendation!
Screen protectors are more trouble than their worth in almost all cases. If you manage to get it on without putting absolutely hideous bubbles on the screen, then you'll be left with something that just makes the screen "rainbowy" and terrible looking. Second skin doesn't do this but then it makes the screen rubbery and grippy feeling, not smooth like it should be. Protectors also seem to enhance fingerprints making them highly visible. Scratches? I wouldn't worry too much about that with gorilla glass 2 - http://youtu.be/wT8xI4PEU8c

I've used the SGP Ultra Nanos and don't like them. Within a month quite a lot had peeled away from the phone. I think this is going to be an issue with all thin film protectors that the industry seems to prefer with this model (slightly curved display surface).
I purchased an XGear Spectre and really like it. It's a tempered glass surface. Very easy to mount and hasn't peeled or scratched despite subjecting it to the same rigors as my previous SGP Ultra Nano. Nor do I expect it to peel in the future because it's pretty think (0.4 mm) and rigid. Apparently it's think enough that it doesn't fit all cases (I don't use a case). The field of view is essentially unaffected and the glass has excellent optics. At $35 with shipping, it's definitely more of than investment than thin film protectors, but I consider it a good value given the advantages.
I got the ones from samsung at the verizion store when i got my phone (the first day they had them or second)
The dude put on the first one for me and still looks great barley tell its there and its custom fit to phone
Price tag is 14 bucks but he gave it to me and it did go on very nicely no bubbles or discoloring
I don't use one, I'm just careful not to put anything in the same pocket that could scratch it
Same I use the one from the Verizon store 12 bucks, it didn't effect the viewing, it's a dry install and almost no bubbles when done, and you get 3.

I put on 20 of the verizon ones everyday. Done correctly there are no bubbles, no lint and hold up well. Seeing all the hideous home jobs applications, the glossy texture of zags and the anti glare versions I can see why they get a bad rap.
I wouldn't go without one.

also, you guys getting the grainy and rainbow effects, it's because you're using anti-glare protectors. they suck. the clear ones are better.

Could you elaborate?

I need a screen protector asap, is zagg from BB okay?

I'm looking to get a screen protector asap. I ordered some off amazon and messed up installation due to the fact I couldn't keep dust from getting on my screen during installation. Dunno why my room is so dusty.
I don't have time to wait for something off amazon. And there are best buys all over the place. But I think they only carry zag, for a steep 25.
There's also a tiger direct store down there street but I'm not sure if they carry any.

A lot of people say to run a hot shower and steam up your bathroom to help with the dust in the air. Personally after going away from zagg on this phone I probably won't get another one of their products.
I have a Zagg HD and I would recommend getting the tempered glass type. If your hands arent oily there is dragging. Annoying while trying to swipe the screen texting.
Edit: If you need one now then buy a cheap one at Best Buy to hold you over until an online order comes through.
