team ACID stated that they were almost done with CM7 not too long ago...as for MIUI i doubt there is any development going on as of now
team acid is pretty much releasing stuff daily. i cant keep up. lol! cant wait to start my new job...so i can donate to these guys.

im the one on vacation and im getting behind in my projects. my kid got stung by like 20 jellyfish and was in the hospital. he is fine but been tied up with that. i have a working cm7...almost...cant get the 4g to work but close. and to make matters worse the laptop i brought on vacation crashed in the middle of a upload. bad week...lol...so i promise my fellow flashaholics as soon as i can i will be posting some love.

I know the feeling of the jellyfish thing, it sucks so bad. I hope your son/daughter gets better soon. bit question about the 4g, can it connect to 3g and just not 4g? cuz if so id be willing to sacrifice and just wait for an update later on

it can connect to 3g. mine drops down to 3g sometimes.

Yes, currently we don't have full bluetooth capabilities, like connecting a wiimote for a gamepad. I've heard cm fixes it on a lot of phones.

thanks for everyones concern about my son. it means alot. its like having a big extended family on xda. as for the 4g thing i think i almost have it but if you guys want it ill post it when i get my laptop up and running should be like sometime in the next 48 hrs...i am supposed to be on vacation...ya right...lol.

Hey guys, I've managed to get the ics sdk from the galaxy s running on our infuses. It's basically useless for now, but i plan to work on it more.

No, i replaced the boot.img with the one from cm7 and added the modem from Serendipity.

That one never booted for me, and I remember reading that it didnt for some others. The thread was also closed.
It was closed because of the complete lack of respect, and the silly posts that happened to flood into the thread. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you, but anything goes around here it seems.

Cool. No one is going to get anywhere until the source is released, which should be around november 17 when the galaxy nexus comes out. Then hopefully linuxbozo can do some magic haha or just simply wait for cm9, which linux will have to port that over (should be a little easier then the first idea). Can't wait linux! All hopes on you for at least getting cm9 working haha.

I'm sorry bro but im just letting you know now, anywhere you go it's gonna be just the same I switch phones constantly or have more than one and its like it in every forum. Right now i have an infuse, a cappy, an epic 4g, and a g-tablet, and they all have immature posters. As for the person who can't get it booting, i just wiped both data and cache, then flashed. Which recovery are you in?

im in red recovery and then tried green...still no go
Looks like imnuts and jt are putting their heads together to get ICS kernel to boot on Charge.
I pledge $20 as soon as a working ICS rom is out. Please support their work.
Not impressed with GNEX. I plan to stay on my Charge for a while.
Update 2/14/12: I'm not holding my breath for ICS on Charge anymore. Looks like Samsung is holding back some critical pieces. If I had time, I'd work on it myself. Since I don't, I have no right to complain. Those of you who are interested in tracking progress, please follow the link below:

Btw on rootzwiki there are sometimes different things and tid bits of info.... Too the op if you really are already behind it, meaning ics, just donate because the work the devs put it including themers, testers, rom developers,and tweakers is worth it even if we don't get it... I donate sparingly because I'm currently unemployed and somewhat frugal when it comes to giving free money, but his work and others has inspired me to do things myself, like theming... It's not for everyone as any aspect it's time consuming like people wouldn't believe, but it's satisfying... Time = $$$$$ so if you want to maybe push him along and show him the charge is worth his time and others drop a donation.... Don't say well if you do this, when almost every dev for android is worth more than just a few empty promises of donations.... Just donate and they will provide you with information, help, tweaks, colorful and some not so colorful themes, and roms for your pleasure.... I'm sure they get slack for the time put on by there irl friends and family ad I just started and Im already getting it.... So again just donate.... Empty promises never inspired anyone...

Can you please let us know how is the rom working?
Home button and camera doesn't work on the ICS build. It APPEARS much faster than 2.3.5 (a lot less stuttering for me but I wasn't playing with any special builds there....)
the installer.zip auto reformats you to ext4.
It shows extreme promise for an alpha build IMHO.
This does not work, I have tried it many many times and no matter what it won't focus. I got it to the point where it says it focuses but it does not. No further discussion.

I don't know what problem you are referring to - I can focus my camera fine - just touch the screen in the area I want to focus and the camera focuses - looks great - am I missing something here? is there some other kind of focusing problem?

Don't take this the wrong way. I don't want to say anything bad about someone's work, but until we know what 'it' is, this thread is of no use. If you were to make a thread with a fix and details in it in the first place, less trolling would occur. I sometimes do have this problem, many others have too, including Google. Google has acknowledged this and fixed it in 4.0.4 along with other things. Team Douche (Cyanogemmod) are waiting for 4.0.4 to add more features to cm like theme chooser and customizations.

I understand. And yea I'll wait. What I did was take the apk from Clean GB rom, compare the two, and I changed stuff accordingly to that. It works, but if the problem still persists in 4.0.4 then I'll post the mod. Oh and taking the apk wasn't all I did. I'm in school and I hacked their website blocking crap, I don't have the time to type the two paragraphs of what I did.

Oh ok I see. Well now I'm getting the idea that it isn't actually focusing... I themed it as well so if you guys want my themed version let me know. But I'll put my hand 3 inches away, it'll say its focusing but its still rather blurry.
So I can either post what I currently have, or you guys can wait for me to figure out why it was broken to begin with and wait for me to 100% fix it, or go the safe way and wait for "team douche" to release 4.0.4
Its up to you guys. I probably shouldn't have posted this until I knew for a fact I could get it up in the same day, or the next day. I'll try my best to hop on my pc and upload it but my dads complaining about how ridiculously priced it is for me to run my computer, so if it isn't today it'll be Sunday. 22ghz isn't cheap . No they actually aren't. He doesn't wanna say it but its because my step mom sits on the couch 10 hours a day with the tv on then goes in her room for bed and watches another 4. THAT'S why the bill is so high. When I stream stuff and leave my computer on its only 2 dollars an hour.

Just wanted to state that atm other then working iwth miui station to get miui fixed and if bryan and FB need help pretty much all my sgs4g development is done its been a great ride some fun times some not so fun times.. Was here sence pretty much the beginning when all we had was stock nothing else. But like any piece of software there comes a time when well there isn't much else we can do. Once bryan gets cm7 working it will prob help me and miui station get miui working properly.
After that I wish u all the best of luck and see u in whatever device u goto...

Was here sence pretty much the beginning when all we had was stock nothing else. But like any piece of software there comes a time when well there isn't much else we can do. Once bryan gets cm7 working it will prob help me and miui station get miui working properly.

It will suck to be the only RD in this forum. I'm almost tempted to buy your phone but make you keep it, just to keep you around.

@ bryan Your welcome. I sitll plan on finishing out cm7 and miui lol. If were not striving for excellence in what ever we do whats the point in doing it you kinda tought me that.. I just tought you persistence pays off there was many of times where we both were going to quit gave up then turned around and fixed it sometimes simplicity is the new form of art.

Sorry to see you go bro. Thanks for all of the hours you put in. Your collaboration with Hawkx with Vahalla Black is IMHO the #1 ROM for the SGS4G, and the only "Themed" GB ROM that looks (AND RUNS) better than stock - it's been on mine and my wife's phones since you released it.

So I was talking to flyers00 and I decided to let you guys know that this weekend I took out the Blaze to test some stuff on CM9 and since I wasn't used to carrying two phones I accidentally left it at Starbucks table when I went back to see if it was there maybe 10 minutes later the thing was gone and I asked the employees and of course no one saw a thing. So this is bad news for me because I feel bad for losing the phone...but after talking to flyers00 and him being an awesome team member/friend he said he would test all my builds from here on out so just wanted to let you guys know that i'll still keep deving for you guys just have to outsource the builds to him or others from team fah-q to make sure they work before releasing. Again, I feel bad but I will continue to contribute towards more builds and roms for this phone.
Try not to be so harsh with the comments as it wasn't my intention just completely blanked I had the blaze on me since i felt my pocket and felt my personal phone.

yea i know i feel bad but eh good thing flyers00 is down to test the roms
I think many people are down to test ROMs, but I can safely say he is one if the most effective testers.

Well that's unfortunate :-/ Hopefully it won't hinder your ability to develop for our phone. I was looking forward to your own release of CM10 and possibly even CM11 since the new Nexus is just around the corner lol.

Thanks guys figured id get thrashed lol but we got every member of tfq working on **** I'm looking into OC/UV the cm9 kernel and flyers00 just released miui...thomas is working on gummy...witherell is working on a modded stock(ics tweaked) merwin is looking into kernel editing and ill release aokp in the next few days

I asked about RD status and they told me they didn't know when they were going to accept applications again.
Sucks because that's the only reason I'm developing for this phone! lol, jk.
