Battleheart - HTC Sensation

This game is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very simple RPG where you can control up to 4 players at once. You may find it easiest to play with just 2-3.
It isn't very fancy, but the effects are really neet, and it's cell shaded cartoony. I like it. Can't believe it wasn't mentioned, and it's very playable on this, although my Encore is much nicer to play on (7" screen > 4.3")

Yeah... they just brought it out for the Sensation like 2 days ago.
This game is awesome though.

Their other game with the zombie killing looks great too. I need to find a good multiplayer game.

zombieville was removed as the sensation and evo 3d still had problems with it. should be fixed soon.

I played modern combat 1. Hated it, but I heard they made a lot of changes for the second one. I won't be buying it though unless it starts getting major praises from multiple people/blogs... or if it drops to a buck or something.
Samurai II is a really amazing game. I was very on edge about buying it too, but decided to take the risk and get it. gameplay and graphics are fun and amazing, but I do wish the game was longer. If you enjoy a good game, then I think its worth it, but be warned its not very long. Who knows... you might not like very long games
Lol for the price of these games they should be decent long although we can't have everything. Lol thanx for the thought I will probably buy samurai this month and wait for more opinions on modern combat...

I bought Modern Combat 2 and after trying several times to play it I uninstalled it. It's a well-meaning attempt of this type of game, but just like trying to play an FPS on a PSP, it is way too difficult to get around and shoot accurately. You really need two analog joysticks for this type of game. The only game I've played on PSP that does this type of thing well is SOCOM.

And that's what I'm afraid of. having a good game that I would enjoy if it was only controllable.... touchscreen fps just isn't mastered .. besides I play golden eye 007 64 on mine and that's plenty of fps for me lol

Agree. It's a shame too because on my wifes iPoo MC2 is buttery smooth.
I love modern combat 2 almost like a newer version of counter strike in the palm of your hand. samurii 2 basic hack/slash game it looks cool as hell when you finish off an enemy. I own both

Modern combat 2 is awesome.live play is even better... I had this on my sgs.not yet on my g2x... Imo.modern combat is better especially multilayer..
I have Modern Combat 2 and gotta say it's a good game...after you get past the whole "how do I control this damn thing bit". I had the same problem trying to play FPS on a console after years with a keyboard/mouse. It's just a learning curve thing. (although I did have to change it from the default setup)
I do wish there were more controller alternatives for these new games though. HDMI out and a decent bluetooth controller would be sweet...
Samurai Vengeance looks good...might have to pick that one up too.

I just downloaded it and tried to play. The game still uses the touch screen controls and doesn't support the hardware controller. Hopefully they will fix that with an update because it looks like a pretty good game otherwise.
Wow the graphics are nice arnt they Looks like a better version of spiderman
If it doesn't work on the slide out controles then whats the point. I bought this phone for a reason. Ill hit it up for free on my jb ipod touch.
Sent from my R800x using XDA App
Errrr I can't imagine that game needing slide out controllers... It is fine the way it is... It's a simple came with one button and a innovative directional pad.

I was just getting into this game and now it just keeps fcing. Sad because it seems like an awesome game.
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
Is it suppose to have button controls? I'm a dollar well confused here.
Crap. I snatched it for $.98 because it was on sale. I didn't look to see it the Play controls worked first. Come on SE, Wake Up!
Edit: Canceled. If I have to use touch screens I'll buy it on the Ipad2.
Aww that's too bad cause it looked pretty cool in the preview
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
It is a pretty cool game and basically a clone of Mirrors Edge on ipad.
No excuse for not using the controller though since every command on the screen could be done via the Directional pad.
is actually more fun than the film was...However use of the controller would enhance the experience somewhat... Sometimes the screen can be a tad unresponsive.
Sent from my R800i using XDA Premium App
I just finished it, lol. I agree the game doesn't catch all of the screen swipes and which makes it unresponsive at times but it's pretty fun
I really dig the extra costumes and comic covers you can unlock.
I got it for the Ipad. I also picked up Thor. I started playing Thor. It's a fun game. The Ipad has lots of screen space so it's not so bad.
ipad forumz....
anyone have data game for this game? tq

HTC one X - Gaming performance, what's going on?

Hello,
Just got a new HTC one X and I feel that the gaming performance are much worse than expected. On GTA3, it's not that smooth and feels a bit laggy. On Soulcraft THD (a free beta game on tegra zone), it really lags everytime you kill an ennemy (some particles pop at this exact moment). Even Teeter is not smooth! What's going on?
This is really annoying, especially given the specs of the CPU/GPU.
Do you guys have the same problem? Is that a software issue that might get fixed by HTC?
Definitely a software issue.

Can you recommend any 3D intensive game that doesn't have any problem to see the capabilities of the tegra 3 in action?

Riptide GP is great aswell in my opinion. If you like racing. The maps get a bit boring after a few dozen times though
Disappointingly, I find virtual pool mobile, which i was playing successfully on HTC windows mobile devices years ago, is not playable. Fast moving objects just become a mess and unplayable. Disappointingly again, it plays perfectly on the galaxy nexus.

After 2 weeks of usage, i can say that this initial ROM (1.26.xxx) is beta, nothing in it is optimized, and the list of Bugs is huge. HTC just wanted to be the first to market, and in doing so they decided to sacrifice customer satisfaction
I would expect such a thing from Samsung, not HTC
I believe however that the potential of this phone is much higher than the current, let's wait and see how good the next HTC ROM will be

Not really true. Try playing Zen Pinball THD. It's almost totally unplayable. I LOVE the phone though.
Well I'm glad you're all enjoying games like Shadowgun, Samurai II: Vengeance and GTAIII. I can't access any paid apps in my country of residence (thanks Google) - something I didn't know prior to purchasing the One X, my first Android device.
It's a week old and in immaculate condition. All offers will be considered.

Every launch is the same.
When the HTC Desire came out, the HTC hero was smoother and faster. Eventually, sofware became better and the true potential of the Desire was realized.
When the HTC Sensation came out, the HTC Desire was better and faster. Eventually, sofware became better and the true potential of the Sensation was realized. (About now, a YEAR later, some of the newest kernels out there make the sensation shine.)
Now the HTC One X is out, and my Sensation is smoother in almost everything and the battery lasts longer also. But if history is any indication of things to come, that won't be for much longer. Remember the One X hasn't even been out for this long.
The One X is loaded with capable hardware. Give it a bit of time, this device will rock.

Reminds me of the first experia device I had with sony erricsson. The X10. Also lots of potential but the software screwed up the phone. Later custom roms fixed that, but I expect HTC to fix all the issues we are having.

Issues with games

Anyone else having problems with games like nova hd..dead space etc
None are working for me at all..nova hd 2 got to the end of the first cut scene then cut out...
Theres no reason they should on the s

Yup, Plants Vs Zombies doesn't work and GTA3 the sound is crap.
Great isn't it, get a decent spec phone and you can't play the top games
Considering swapping it for a ONE X.

I would not recommend that.. did you read in the one x forum the last days? a lot of them are suffering from terrible screen flickering..and for a lot of them the 1.28 update didn't help.. i hope for htc that this is no hardware issue.
Your game issues will definately get fixed in a few days/weeks
Oh right.
I'm getting fed up of network issues as well but in theory the phone has great potential, its just not living up to it at the moment.
Gta plays really well for me; sound lags in cut scenes but its good elsewhere

still no matter what ive tried the games wont work..its irritating..not because im a huge fan and use them often..but purely because it doesnt fking work! great phone but this bugs me a bit, weird.
Did anyone get a gameloft game running?

menu-on-screen is the problem
the reason why e expirience issues with games is because of the menu-on-screen button, which causes the system to detect a screen resolution of 540x888, whereas the one s has a resolution of 540x960. so the games always check the reolution in sytem info and a resoution of 540x888 does actually not exsist...which causes the app to crash or to say that the game is not compatible!!
my theory

Any good RTS games?

It's been a while since I have had an Android, so I'm not sure if any good RTS games have come out. I know there's Starfront Collision but it's currently not available for the One X. I have been playing Land Air Sea Warfare on my iPad (best game ever, no joke) and am dying to get something like that on my One X. Any suggestions?
Try great little war game..or majesty that's a other rts, but its got pretty bad gfx lol
sent from my Hawks(HOX)
I have GLWG, it's ok but I am not a huge fan of turn based strategy games. Majesty looks kinda meh. Thanks for the suggestions though.
