Hello,
I updated my DHD to LeeDrOiD HD V3.3.1 GB ROM (with radio). I also added the Sense 3.0 Add-On. All smoothy and clear. The only problem I have is that I can't find the favorite contact list widget from Sense 2.1.
It's the list where you can select contacts on the start screen directly, when you have declared them before as favorites. Does somebody know where to activate this widget?
I looked in Lees post and searched in the post but i haven't found any helpful matches.

After hours of searching I found the solution.
The widget is called People Widget and to activate all sense functions of the new rom you have to do the following:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14937859&postcount=12322
Then you can add people widget to the start screen adding contacts

yeah, cheers for that, maybe if you'd read the post before feeling superior and jumping down my throat you'd have realised that that post is about displaying the hero widgets in a standard android rom, which isn't possible as they rely on the hero framework etc.
My question is about using the hero widgets on the standard android homescreen in a hero rom, which should / may be possible because the dependancies are there even though rosie isn't running.
Decist: Doubt it's possible. I remember reading somewhere that the Hero widgets require Rosie.
But they are still dependent on touchflo. No touchflo no Hero widgets as it right now.

okie dokie, I was hopeful that there was a shared dependancy or something that meant you could run the widgets without actually running the whole touchflo experience.

I'm just wondering if there in any way (soma CAB maybe) to put some icons-shortcuts (e.g. 3 or 4) to Home Tab in Manila 2.1.19202517?
I have this version of Manila cooked in EnergyROM so I have this big White Clock with weather, Call History and Calendar beneath. When one slide a finger up on the clock it gets minimalized to much smaller one at the top of the screen and there is plenty room under Calendar for e.g. shortcut to camera, browser, notes... whatever!
Is this possible to put some icons there. It would be... fantastic! I'm using HTC Touch Pro with again: Manila 2.1.19202517 cooked in EnergyROM Phoenix 2 (WM6.5).

Use Sense 2.5
There is a EnergyRom available which has Sense 2.5 included.

Thanks man, but I did so many changes to my present software (I have loaded tons of CAB files so far) and personalized TP on my own way that doing it all again with another ROM is a little bit scary
After all You have to HR the phone after installing a new ROM and all Your data and personalization is lost, right?
Maybe simply there is a CAB to do what I want without changing absolutely everything?
Or is there a way to back up all my data and presets... installing a brand new ROM... and then restore my programs, personalization and all?
im looking for the same thing, i couldnt get 2.5 to work with MMS picture mail so i went back to 2.1 and i want the program shortcuts on the home tab also.. is there such a thing for 2.1?

How do I customize HTC Sense in Windows 6.5 Phoenix 2 ROM?
This may be a simple question, but whenever I check off things other than HTC Sense when customizing the home screen, nothing shows up.
More specifically I want messaging and info on the today screen too, but the only thing that is there is HTC Sense Clock/weather. It is very stubborn, in which it disables anything other than itself to be shown in the today screen.
How do I fix this (Look at pictures for more info)
Pictures are in the order I took them, and not by the name/number of them.

If you choose Sense then that's all you get. If you want other options on your today screen you have to turn off Sense.

Hi all,
Having tried out and tested some of the great new Roms that have been created for out TG01's and many thanks to those whose hard work made them possible.
I personally have discovered that the only thing i really like about Sense is the great Weather app and moving wallpaper on the Home Screen. I actually prefer the look and options that SPB Mobile Shell gives me over Sense. So i am wondering is it possible to extract and just install the HTC Weather to run on our TG01's as if so i think that would be great.
Looking forward to finding out if it's possible or not and if anyone else would like this to.

Hi all,
Well I'm amazed at nearly 200 views but no comments anyway last night i flashed an unbranded Rom with Sense 2.5 v2012 and installed Cookies Home Tab Mod and CHTeditor and have to say am now loving Sense and of course the Weather app. I can highly recommend it as being both fast and simple and with the amount of tweaks and fixes it works both fast and smoothly.

Because this forum prevents me from posting in the ARHD topic, I'll ask here:
1. I upgraded to ARHD with Sense 3.0 and now Friend Stream doesn't work. It just gets stuck while loading. Any fix for this or will I have to find a different FB app?
2. When I tried to upgrade the keyboard (with the HTC_IME in the ARHD topic), I lost my Danish keyboard layout/dictionary (it's possible that ARHD just doesn't have that though). How do I get a Danish keyboard without switching to a different one?
3. The Sense 3 lock screen doesn't work properly, when I choose the weather theme, it fails to load the weather info. I don't have that problem with widgets once I unlock the phone, so it has to be the lock screen. Is there a fix?
4. I absolutely love the "link contact" feature in Sense and it's one of the main reasons why I came back from CM7. Is that feature available anywhere else? I really fancy other launchers, but they just lack the Sense functions.

Another question (although not ARHD related):
It seems the previous owner put the 20.2808.30.085AU_3805.06.03.03 radio on the phone (second latest Gingerbread radio) and 2.6.35.13 RCMIX VIVO 2.2 kernel on the phone (he also updated it to Android 2.3.3). These seem pretty recent, I suppose there's little for me to gain by updating?
