Use the one click return to stock, your phone will be stock again in 5 minutes.

I don't think there is a one click return to stock for GSM nexus.

That's too bad oneclicks are the way to go. There should be Odin files for the GSM nexus, and Odin has never failed me other than the time I bricked my friends galaxy s 4g, but those are weird phones and have nowhere near the developer support that the nexus or even the epic has. With Odin I brought an epic back to life after a toilet splash.

What exact model do you have? What guide were you using?
Sph d720. Its for my friend, not sure which guide. I think I'm gonna try the Odin package I found that takes it back to stock. What would u recommend? Thank you

First, try this.
I'm not sure how to do that tho. Is it thru adb, where is the fastboot file? I appreciate the help tho

The ODIN package should work nicely for you, then you can go from there. Personally I would use that, flash cwm, and throw a nice rom on (cyanogen is working beautifully for me personally)
Yeah I was going to use the nexus s 4g one click root if the Odin package works. Thank you

Well it is why I wanted stock kernel back. In case of emergency.do you know if that locks bootloader

Hey man. Why don't you just one click back to stock and that will give you back and lock everything. Then reroot and unlock the bootloader? I was gonna mention this over there. I think no matter what route you take its gonna wipe your phone. Also with the issue your having returning to stock might not be a bad idea.

Cricket flash

If i were to flash this over to cricket, would i need to return to complete stock? Running 4.1 now

You need to be running a rom that lets you put the phone into "modem" mode so you can reprogram the PRLs and what not.
I used this guide
http://www.cricketusers.com/sprint-...exus-s-4g-cricket-talk-text-mms-internet.html
Yea i actually have that page bookmarked on my computer... most of it i know i cant do....im gonna just get it flashed for 25

OK so for some odd reason the adb doesn't recognize my phone when I plug the phone in...does anyone know why?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
Nvrmind...I didn't have the drivers....but now I had it flashed over to cricket but all I have is talk and text. No data at all. I was supposed to get a new number from cricket but when I call someone its my sprint number...I know it needs to be programmed, but what would cause it not to program? Would it be that I flashed a different radio awhile back ago? He said the prl was the newest...are the prl and radio be the same thing?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
ok so finally I have my phone flashed to cricket, what all can I do and not do? are root, recovery, roms, scripts all still in play? Im assuming since im with cricket now that radios don't work...am i on the right track?

May get a GS3 cause I'm crazy. Couple questions though

I may get a GS3 but only if I can do a couple things ...maybe one thing. Can we remove the annoying, persistent WiFi notification in a stock ROM that's rooted and clockworked? Thank you!

Yea. I'm running Beans latest ROM n I don't get that notification

There is also a dialer code you can type in that will give you the option to turn it off.
Why would you need to be crazy to get a GS3?
Edit: IIRC it still shows up in the same spot after the code, but it shuts up about saying you should use Wifi and such
(been a while since stock, my bad)

I've read of some XML edits that can remove it but it'd need to be stock. I run stock, rooted so it'd need to be removable from the stock ROM. I wouldn't wanna see it in my notification bar or the pull down. And crazy cause I've had about a dozen phones in a year. I have a problem.

Yes, I'm also stock and rooted and i removed it, as well as that stupid popup about known networks in range.

The last update took it off for me. Haven't rooted yet and was prompted for the update I took it and after the reboot the WiFi notification was gone.
