I would like to ask is it possible to install US WiFi 3.2 (or 3.1) on MZ601 3G and get a working rom without 3g support, because I don't have 3g data-plan active yet.
i tried to search in forum but couldn't find a smiler issue

i use a international version of motorola xoom mz601 in india and have updated to android 3.1 and use the latest baseband n_01.83.35p.
after this update the band changed to USA band 800Mhz? i cannot use any network 2G or 3G and the motorola doesn't show any network operators.
i really want to revert back the settings.now how can i downgrade my baseband and what commands i need to execute also i have tried moving to stock 3.0.1 but no change in baseband.
any apk file that would help me change the band?

Steps for solving your baseband problem
hello bv_abhi, and sorry for making you wait...
here is what exactly you need to do:
1. Reflash you Xoom with the original android 3.0 which is available at Motorola developer zone from here: (developer[dot]motorola[dot]com/products/software/)
2. Now search for the correct ROM for you Xoom. which should be located under "MZ601 - XOOM WITH WI-FI + UMTS" and the then download Build H.6.1-38-9 for Retail Other International and flash it (rad the INSTRUCTIONS carefully)
Note : The issue won't be fixed yet.
3. After flashing back to 3.0, now updated your XOOM to 3.1 via ota.
Note: The device should automatically fixed itself by now
4. You are now good to go so update to 3.2 & Enjoy
I want to update my stock 3g xoom (mz602 Verizon) with original iml77. does anyone already tried that?

I am curious about this, also. I have a 4G/LTE Xoom, but dont use the mobile data. Will installing IML77 on my xoom brick it? I don't care that the 4G won't work (if that's all that will happen).

Quick question i have the UK Wifi only xoom, running Jellybean
the device is now a GED but not rooted.
I was looking to try switching my wifi channel to 14 ( only allowed in Japan) to boost signal.
i have done this via router and can connect using my htc desire running a cyanogen mod.
If there a way of enabling this on my xoom without installing a custom mod ?

So, is there anyway to use a 3G dongle with my transformer on JellyBean rom? I've used 3G dongle on ICS with Megatron, RevolverParts or AndroidRevolution rom but I'm not sure what should I use on JB, thanks for any advice. It's the only way how I could have internet connection in Croatia. Thank you.

I don't think there is any support for 3g yet why dont you just keep a copy of an ICS that works on 3g with you flash it when you need internet?

i am trying to get Cyanogenmod 11.1 working on my Motorola Xoom US 4G Lte. I was able to get this installed and working great with the exception of my mobile data is not working. can you someone point me in the right direction to get this working or maybe recomend a rom that has 4G Lte working and is stable?

I think the OmniRom equivalent MAY have data working, but I'm not 100% on that (I use the wifi only version). Best to check out the thread.
