Hi,
Quick question i have the UK Wifi only xoom, running Jellybean
the device is now a GED but not rooted.
I was looking to try switching my wifi channel to 14 ( only allowed in Japan) to boost signal.
i have done this via router and can connect using my htc desire running a cyanogen mod.
If there a way of enabling this on my xoom without installing a custom mod ?

I would like to ask is it possible to install US WiFi 3.2 (or 3.1) on MZ601 3G and get a working rom without 3g support, because I don't have 3g data-plan active yet.

Hey everyone,
I recently discovered about Orange UK wifi calling.
I really need this in my house as I get no signal but it seems to be missing form my stock rom which I just restored.
Currently I am using CM10 and Ordroid 9.0.
Are either of these compatible with someones's flashable Orange wifi zip or maybe even my stock Backup and if so where is this zip?
Also I saw that DarkForest Sensation XE 6.5.0 has an option of Orange wifi calling. I assume this would work, but would his more recent sense 4 roms work? They say that they support wifi calling but this may be the T-mobile wifi calling, so I'm unsure whether to flash them.

Are there any Jelly Bean roms out there for the i815 with a working tethering solution - either wifi or bluetooth? I actually bought this thing for the sole purpose of tethering to it, but man the stock rom was so awful I finally broke down and put jellybean on, but now I've lost the ability to tether. Currently on the latest jellybean 4.2.2 rom available and have tried a bunch of stuff without luck.
Any idea appreciated.

I have this device and I also have another carrier version tablet (Galaxy Note 8.0). I used the instructions here for the GN 8.0 and with the stock Wifi Tether apk and got tethering with root. Not sure if it work for this device, but it's worth a try. Also, you can setup a widget to start tether so it's pretty easy to work.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxsy S3 LTE i9305 and it has been working flawlessly in Australia on a stock and custom ROM.
I'm currently travelling in the US and I have purchased a T-Mobile prepaid SIM. After inserting the new SIM I have been able to get a edge network connection and making phone calls works fine. However, ive only been able to get a Edge data connection, no 2G, 3G or 4G. This occurs in all locations, I have been in 4 major cities and it is the same.
I called T-Mobile and we checked all the settings. They were unable to find anything wrong and escalated my issue to the 3rd level team. I'm waiting to hear from them. In the mean time I have tried the following wihout succes. The phone is running cyogenmod 10.2 Nightly, I upgraded this to the latest 11.x Nightly and the result was no network connection at all. Furthermore after the upgrade I was not able to enter any APN settings, it was as if no SIM was insirted. Next I tried downgrading to Cyogenmod 10.1 Stable release and the result was the same. Finally I tried installing Paranoid Android 3.99 RC1 and again same result, no network at all.
Im running out of ideas. My next move is to try a stock rom but I hope I can avoid it because it is a large download and I have no access to a computer. What do you guys think could be causing it?

What is your radio version ? Is yours International version ?

i am trying to get Cyanogenmod 11.1 working on my Motorola Xoom US 4G Lte. I was able to get this installed and working great with the exception of my mobile data is not working. can you someone point me in the right direction to get this working or maybe recomend a rom that has 4G Lte working and is stable?

I think the OmniRom equivalent MAY have data working, but I'm not 100% on that (I use the wifi only version). Best to check out the thread.
