Hi all,
I remember seeing these really slick, high-end leather cases for Vibrant (I dont recall the name of the company but I think it was a French brand).
Anyways, the speacialty about these cases was that some of the leather ones had a nice leather kickstand to it.
Does anybody know/recall what I am talking about? I have gone through my archives and done a whole lot of google searching but I cant seem to find a nice-looking leather case for my SGS4G WITH a kickstand

I'm not sure about everyone's preference here to what cases they enjoy, but I have been emailing http://www.speckproducts.com/products/by_device about them making a case for the Nexus One. They have some really nice fitted cases for iPhones and Blackberrys and would love to get one on my N1.

Hi,
I would say without a doubt Vaja are the best makers of phone cases in the world. They allow you to customise your choice of case & hand make to order.
The best famous case they make is the Iphone Ivolution cases.
I have opened a thread previously in accessories section requesting people to contact vaja via the Vaja home page to make a Ivolution case for the Nexus One.
If you search on the net "Iphone Ivolution" you will know what I am talking about.
At the moment I have settled with using a Sena Ultraslim Brown pouch.

I've owned vaja cases for my ex n95 8gb. I really like the look of the speck products. I wwas hoping more people would see them and ask if they would make one for the N1. I dont think they would unless there is a demand for it. But thank for your suggestions

I would love a Speck case. On my wife's iPhone, we use the hard shell case (silicone inside, hard shell outside) and my toddler BEATS it up. She throws it down the steps and practically everywhere else and the phone still looks brand new (been about a year with same case).

Hey all,
ive been trying some of the best cases out there for my SGS including PDair, Case-Mate Though, TPU, SGP and some other cheap onens..
(the SGP one actually claims to be an anti slip material but got nothing to support it..)
Some of them have a great design, othere are very protective but non have the feature im realy looking for which is what called 'Anti-Slip'. most of my IPod cases for example had that ability in them. a simple silicone that that helps your device not slip from your hands.
Does anyone knows about any silicone case that have this?

I saw it before on some IPhones and didnt like its touch feeling very much. also, i think its too hard to provide a good protection..

Surf around and you might find a slightly better deal, but make sure its that same one. It has a very rubbery feel which doesnt slip at ALL, i loved it. Only thing is that it doesnt offer much protection from falls.
the cheapest safest option is to just put some industrial tape around your hand and stick your phone to it
this way your phone will never slip and is always in your hand.... you dont need to waste time searching your pockets ..
but the only downside i have is i have to wipe my rear with my left hand now

Seriously?! What do you do to have such slippery hands? On second thought, don't answer that
I have a Case-Mate Tough Case and that's not only "rubbery", but also very structured giving a VERY good grip. In fact, I had problems getting it in and out of my pocket, which annoyed me so much I gave it up.
If the Case-Mate Tough wasn't grippy enough, superglue is the only option (or duct tape if you're going for the not-so-permanent option)
Go get some skateboard Grit Tape. Guaranteed non slip...
So I've looked at all the popular cases and most of them were pretty minimalistic while offering protection. None of them had the pizazz I want though and I grow envious of iPhone users because they have much more interesting covers.
I'm wondering if there's more unique and special cases; I guess what I'm looking for are cases that are more "gimmicky."
I'm also interested in leather cases that are a hardshell with leather on the exterior without the cover flap.

i cant post a link (just re-registered) but type in g2x bumper case into google search and it will come up with the one i use. it kinda looks like the iphone bumper case but with a smoke grey back piece. hope that helps

I believe that is a mofi pouch (I might be wrong). I've never used one, but I've read people finding it on buychina. There are different sizes too.
If you need something similar, I suggest pouches from sfbags.com.
If you want something classier, check out Bugatti leather pouches on amazon.de or amazon.co.uk. I have one and they are amazing. Hope this helps :good:

No problem. I have the Bugatti Elements one. It's not completely leather, but I wanted one that fits with a slim case (Ringke slim), and it does.
Also, check out dbrand skins if you want to protect the back glass while carrying it around in a pouch.
Edit: there are threads on both Bugatti pouches and dbrand skins. You'll find more info there.

Anyway, being a guy, I feel like the folio wallet cases aren't exactly well suited for guys. At least for me, I prefer the cases like the iLuv Modena or the Speck Smartflex Card cases. Do you guys know of any other cases like this? Please post what you're using and why you prefer it!
Personally, I'm thinking of getting the Modena, but I've heard reviews of people saying its cheap quality and the leather doesnt line up with the phone

Piel Frama
Piel Frama is the OG of premium leather cases. I had one back in the day for my original Compaq iPaq. I still remember the scent when I opened the box. I'm tempted to order one just for the nostalgia! I remembered them the other day when I was pondering S4 cases, and I googled them to see if they are still around. Sure enough they are and make a huge lineup for the S4 and every other popular device.
Apparently you DID NOT search because this has been discussed at length, with many recommendations.
