I don't know if this is against the rules, but KingxKlick has his ROM up on his site for download. If I'm going against the rules or against King, I'm sorry and please delete this thread. Just wanted to let everyone know its up for the public. Looks cool.

Not saying anything wrong but i was just asking cause i think i did hear that u need to be a premium member to get this rom.. idk i mite be wrong so idk bro.

Its out for everyone, but I would suggest that the dev who made it post it on here, if they want it on here, or at least ask them first.
its freely available on his site, dont need to be a premium member.
i see nothing wrong with this especially if he is posting it for free download on his own site.
i would send a message to him and just ask if he minds.
he is getting traffic to his site so most people wouldnt care.
good catch...
i always wanted to have a good look at his scripts.
just flashed only change that i did was flash CFS#11 because for me is the best kernel, so far so good, like always King good job
Considering switching over to this from fresh. Waiting to hear some reviews first.
anyone have screen shot?
Here's a couple screenshots...
ahhh its rocking the newest version of everything except the pri version is older kinda beat
So it looks like king finally got his evo? Thats nice to know. As far as what i've read and seen about this rom, there is absolutely nothing special that would make me want to switch. "Well here it is. I have been working on this for some time now"
I would expect something great with a statement like that. Well Maybe i'm expecting to much. Can anybody that has used it make a case for it? Is it in any way better than the other roms out? thanks

+1, seems like any other ROM to me. Feedback anyone??
Gonna give this one a shot. Been using CM6 for about a week, and I wanna try something new. Hoping for better battery life here. Not thrilled it's a Sense ROM, but, oh well.
Thanks for all your work, King!

PRI is independent of ROM. If you have the latest PRI, it will stay with any ROM you flash.
First thing I can say about it is it feels very quick indeed. Overall it feels a bit more responsive than cm6. My biggest concern is battery life. Although my Evo had acceptable battery life when running stock, I have noticed that it was actually worse when running cm6.
I do miss being able to force my Evo to roam though. That's one feature I would love built into this rom.

it should be a bit quicker...
it's an odexed rom.
there is good and bad in any kind of system... odexed or deodexed.
there is a big topic about more specific differences between odex and deodex somewhere in the forums.
because it is odexed that means you cant theme it right?

Hello,
This is adamholden85. Most of you know me from Axura. I have formed my new team(first team actually) and I want to start hearing from the community what you guys want your next ROM to have/do. I am not looking for specific apps, that you can do yourself. I am looking for things such as functionality, looks, feel and so on. Please let me know so we can put this together and really put out something amazing for you.
i know you have played with the Armani rom, as have I. give it a shot, it appears to be fully working out of the box with no funky kernels or modems (only thing i had to do was enable 850mhz)

question for you, I lost the ability to come back to stock after flashing armani. I am assuming something is a miss I just cant pin it down. How did you do it? I lost three button dl.
Running doc v 6.1.3 JPY. using xcal 2.3. I like how it is running. Jk4 modem which I think is the best available. if you are looking at jpy it appears stable and fast

it turned into the typical i9000 download method. Vol down + USB
only problem i had was with that stupid bootloader bending me over...left me with a paperweight. oh well, got a replacement the next day
Try and do something completely different and unique?
There are some crazy projects like MUIU... maybe a port like that for our cappys?

In regards to look, I prefer the current look of 2.5 so I would like to see something along those likes as the base. Other themes can modify visually from there.
Otherwise, Im up for about anything I am just totally sold on that look.
Awesome, this sounds like great news. I was really disappointed to see that you got pushed out of AXURA by a couple of bad apples being louder than those of us who truly appreciate the work you do. I started flashing back on my HTC Fuze with Winmo and your and Hans thread with AXURA was the most user friendly and helpful thread I have ever found on all of XDA. I'm definitely looking forward to this. Anyway, just wanted to let you know there are lots of us out here who are truly grateful, keep up the great work!
Anyway, to stop the love fest and maybe contribute a bit to this my personal preference is to avoid the OC/UV kernels. They just seem to add possible instability and I don't think they add much real world benefit at all.
Also, just a feature that seems to have been lost in Froyo that I liked in 2.1 was the ability to change brightness by swiping across the notification bar. Not sure if that's possible, but I'm suprised that no one else seems to miss that function, haha.
Just my two cents. Can't wait to see what you have for us Adam!
I kind of liked the green icons you had in version 2.5.1 But never did have any luck installing it and getting it to work correctly. Maybe I should of done a clean wipe.
Either way v2.5 works great.
I think some of the red icons like I have seen would be nice, I do miss the 3G icon. Even if it actually is H ?

First, I think you should wait until we have a stable gingerbread ROM to base it on. Second, if I can help you with anything just ask.
Most roms that are coming out are always so stockish, y keep making the same thing...
Believe me I understand it takes time and effort to make something deferent but ain't that whole point to start with... Thats the whole hacking idea in general, im not hating on anyone its just the way I see it, it takes to long to make the same crud over and over again and just got some small type of differences which make one stand out, here and there... I believe that if ox and devil and peter something came together something better would just spring up idk you guys tell me what you think?
Its not really about petter and ox even thou ox and devil are the same devs its just about new experiences

I do miss the HTC Dream (g1) days. Where so many devs compiled their own work and even themed their own roms. Each ROM had its own taste

That was before the theme engine days. Themes aren't for everyone, so leaving the rom looking stock gives the enduser the power of personalization.

I kind of like stockish
well from what i been trying i really dont mind a os that is stockish but with some features. I am looking at stability and features. so far the only one i have found this with after trying all the cm7 nightly(114 to 180) I finally switch to superosr and its seems good comes stock but options to custom from the menu. I find that cool.
believe it or not there's this craze going on, about everyone wanting slim, clean, fast roms
you should check out SuperAOS, that one is packed with tons of stuff
but if you really want to be unique, start creating your own ROM, then you can do whatever the heck you want to it, and fully load it with stuff you want

CM7 is about as modded as I like a ROM to be but I do miss all the options that were available on the EVO 4G. Sense is fun to play with but I always come back to CM7. I just love some of the simple refinements such as toggle widgets on the status bar and the lock screen.
Hello. Well it has been a great year with the Cappy, but I have moved on to the SGS 2, mostly due to Rogers very poor cell service in my area so when I had the chance to jump to Bell and the SGS 2 I had to. I would just like to sincerely thank all the devs on the Captivate forums for making my time with the Cappy very awesome. I have learned so much in the past year from all the hard work by all the devs on XDA. If Rogers cell service had been better in my area I definitely could have stayed with the Cappy easily for another year due to all your hard work.
I would like to specifically thank:
Watsa: for his Apex ROM, it was my daily driver.
Dlev7: his ROMs were the first I flashed and brought me to Gingerbread.
TRusselo: representing the Canadian flavour on XDA! Thanks for his stock ROM so I could flash my phone to get ready to sell.
LOSTLOGIC89: his KK4 ROM was the next I was going to flash until I decided to get the SGS2 and how he managed to constantly cook/update ROMs without a phone was crazy. Also, he stuck with the Cappy even when other Devs moved to the SGS2.
existz: TalonDEV kernel helped my Cappy to flyyyyyyyy.
xtremekilla09: loved your dialers and always used one when I could.
Cezar': AT&T bootloaders allowed me to move to Gingerbread.
So special thanks to all of you!
To all the other Devs, you make the Cappy far more awesome and keep up the work, it is appreciated by all.

Kinda wish you had a ROM for the SGS2 but I know there are soooo many ROMs on the dev threads it's crazy. It's overwhelming compared to the Cappy. Any suggestions Watsa? I was looking at the Omega ROM and the Dlev ROM mostly because they have a combination of features and theme I like.
Date set for a leak? haha that's new!
Thanks again Watsa.

Personally speaking there is no need of a custom rom on gs2. We can use odexed stock with jkay mod... unless u want a theme... I am a fan of how sgs2 looks out of the box

The stock ROM is pretty good. The only thing is that it is not the most up to date version of gingerbread and I've gotten used to some features I had on my Cappy that I don't have with stock like battery mod, extended power menu, more controls in the notification, and themes. Can jkay mod supply these things?

I just rooted my phone a few days ago and am kind of overwhelmed with all of the different possibilities. I have cm7.2 running perfectly and have overclocked my phone to around 1.5 ghz. I want to make my shift have the look and feel of a galaxy s2 for a week or two now. I really like the widgets, icons, and just overall appeal. Plus, rooting has got me feeling adventurous. so, any ideas?
I'd suggest trying stone different roms out. My old standby is supreme sense (sense2.1 + 3.0). Ben using it since our came out and always end up going back. Newsense (sense 2.1) is kickass. You could try ICS. I was always a big fan of MIUI due to all the customizations. There is so much I'd say just dive in. Try em out one by one. There's even u.k.e. as well as all the new stuff posted by like joy os and coredroid. It will really just come down to personal preference. And if you really can't choose which to try first just go right down the list lol
If you like the setup you're on now and don't want to change, try searching for a cm7 theme. I'm sure there is a touchwiz theme somewhere.

Well, I looked for a touchwiz theme and couldn't really find anything. But, I did find find a post on SinfulAndroid about getting Galaxy-ish widgets. These don't have that feel that I'm looking for, though, so wasn't really useful.
