Dear All,
I am facing a wired problem that is: When I receive a call in phone idle/locked screen, call does not connected sometimes and appear as missed call in notification area. Usually call supposed to be connected whenever I pull answer icon to the ring. But the problem is, somethimes it's connected and sometimes not.
Does anyone face such problem ? I am looking for a solution badely.

Does anyone else have this problem? Sometimes when I get an incoming call, I don't have the option to answer, just the decline option. It doesn't happen all the time. I haven't installed any type of lockscreen app. It happens on both wifi calling and cell network. I've tried hard resets, and the problem still persists. This is the second sensation that has done this. Any ideas?
I'm having a problem with my samsung 7.7 tablet. On the whole I'm happy with it, however incoming calls are simply not registering. I have spoken to my telephone company, O2 and they tell me they have prioritised the tablet, along with my mobile call to receive calls. I don't think the problem can be solved by O2. In the pop-up window, bottom right hand corner the sound symbol remains grey, vibrate and mute both light up green, which tells me these states are active, but the sound will not activate. I do have sound on the tablet, e.g. if an email comes in.
I can make outgoing calls, but no incoming calls come through. They are coming through to my other mobile.
The tablet is not rooted. It is running on ice cream sandwich , Android version 4.0.4.
I have tried a factory reset, but this has not solved the problem. When I bought the tablet incoming calls worked. I don't know what caused them to stop.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.
David
Hi
for some reason I can't receive calls on my nexus 5 since the last update. there's no issue in receiving calls and I know that there is no issue with the sim card since I just changed it to a new one.
whenever someone call me I see the call, slide to the right to answer and then in hang-up the call and the star of the priority mode appears on the notification bar. it's like I can't receive the call and it changes itself to priority mode.
please help?
Hi people!
So I've had a galaxy s6 for about a month now but recently there has emerged two problems to do with making and receiving calls that have made the phone all but unusable.
1) whenever making calls to an unknown number this (http://imgur.com/DYnZZgF) is the call app that is used, it looks almost CM and I have no idea why is has changed. It doesn't show up in recents or in programs running, if I close it then I can still hear the call through the speaker but I have to restart the phone to get rid of the app.
2) whenever receiving calls from unknown numbers I hear ringing but there is no visual alert (ie nothing comes up on screen) so accepting or declining is impossible and as the call app doesn't exist to get rid of the ringing I have to simply wait until it stops. These calls do appear in the call log which I assume is a different app but the phone app doesn't appear at all.
If anyone can help me with these problems I'd be super grateful, it's making the phone all but unusable..
Thanks in advance!!
Hello all,
I am making this thread because I am having a really strange and frustrating issue that I am hoping can be solved before I am forced to get rid of my phone. I have a factory unlocked SM-G955U running the most current stock software. Basically my issue is my phone randomly mutes my mic during outgoing calls. I can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. Sometimes all I have to do is hang up and call back to fix the issue. Other times, the only way for me to fix the issue is for me to restart my phone. Strangely if I hang up and the other person calls ME back, then the problem is instantly solved. I thought this was limited to actual phone calls, but I had the same issue happen today with and outgoing Whatsapp call as well. I can confirm the problem is 100% isolated to OUTGOING calls and has no effect on incoming calls. I would have to assume this issue is software related and not hardware related given the fact this is only happening randomly on outgoing calls and has never once happened on incoming calls.
Ive done all of the basic troubleshooting and even removed my ultra thin phone case with no change in results.
Any help would be much appreciated thanks!
