Hello everyone.. Yes im a noob. What im trying to do is way out of my league.. I have an evo with sprint right now. I just bought another one. My goal is to try to get it to work on boost network. If anyone could help me out that would be great.. Please let me know.
hey all yeah im a noob to unlocking and rooting but i really need pointers here ive researched for weeks and im just stuck ive got some phones to play with to learn but to start i wanna root and unlock my htc evo 4g and then flash it to boost or somthing after soo please any help,pointers,and info will be greatly appretiated thanks,also willing to teamview please help

the thread "how to root LG lucid 2" is closed because the root application is not working yet but they promise to post the fix soon. But keep watching that sub-forum or hopefully a developer will start a thread here on XDA

Just rooted it myself...
Yeah I ran good old motochopper and then ran a root verification tool, I was able to root this phone in two minutes.. haven't found a rom for it, or a way to get it into GSM mode yet I would love some help if someone knows how to do this... I am trying to switch the phone from Verizon to Metro PcS (I have a sim card for metro activated and the verizon sim non activated)
The phone is rooted and I have it currently running Mo+ and Talkatone, however that leaves it not running when not connected via wifi and that is just not good

I am a newbie at rooting phones....I have encrypted my lucid 2, phone only not the sd card, is this going to cause a problem when I root my phone? and I could really use some help or step by step instructions....Thanks

it has been a long time since i have messed with this stuff. I have a boost mobile phone that i need to flash so it can be used with verizon towers....I recently lost my iphone and got a LG Venice from my sister. I want to port my number to this phone but the company which i used coudnt help. I use Pageplus wireless and they use verizon towers... If anyone could please help me figure this out it would be great.. I havent had a working phone in a week..If I need to flash do i need certain files for my phone to use with verizon... I am hoping for help here... Thank you all in advance

I have a sgh-i317 on 4.4.2 that I had unlocked from att. I am now on t-mobile plan. I would like to be able to tether, and make wifi calls on my note 2. I have searched throughout this forum, and found some things that may help, but I am new to this, and would to get it right the first time without bricking this phone. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
what is the best root for this phone, again it is unlocked currently using tmobile sim?
[*]once i root, what is the best rom that will give me the features that i desperately need, that being wifi calls, and
tethering ability?
[*] where do i find the rom and other things like radios and such that i need?
