[Q] T-Mobile ROM for SGH-I317 with 4.4.2, and Root--Please HELP - General Questions and Answers

Hello all,
I have a sgh-i317 on 4.4.2 that I had unlocked from att. I am now on t-mobile plan. I would like to be able to tether, and make wifi calls on my note 2. I have searched throughout this forum, and found some things that may help, but I am new to this, and would to get it right the first time without bricking this phone. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
what is the best root for this phone, again it is unlocked currently using tmobile sim?
[*]once i root, what is the best rom that will give me the features that i desperately need, that being wifi calls, and
tethering ability?
[*] where do i find the rom and other things like radios and such that i need?
Please HELP, thanks.

[Q] Unlocking a Motorola atrix 4g

I've got my atrix rooted running android 2.3.4 and am looking to unlock it to use with t-mobile. I'm not trying to pay to get it unlocked if theres a free way, but I will if i have to. Also if I unlock the bootloader and use a custom rom will it automatically be unlocked? I've searched and couldn't find any info. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Lets say you found a free SIM unlock for the Atrix and use it for T-mobile, the phone will only get 2g because it doesn't support T-Mobile’s 3g bands 1700/2100. (technically its the 1700mhz band that the Atrix doesn't support).
Hope this gives you some insight.
Honestly anything will work for now. But thanks dude, learned something new
Oh and bump
you might have found this already if you continued your search but

Verizon LG G2

Ok guys, i've posted in the Verizon section to no avail and I really need help. I have a month to figure this out. I need my verzion lg g2 to work on tmobile network. I understand it is unlocked, but I suppose I need to install a tmobile rom in order to get wifi calling and unlimited tethering. Any idea guys or help would be appreciated. I have read that if I install a tmobile rom and then install the flex rom, which I can not find it will work. Appreciate the help.

[Completed] Verizon to T-Mobile: Enabling hotspot on an unlocked phone?

I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 that I have unlocked and am using on the T-Mobile network. Unfortunately, even though I have tethering/hotspot capabilities with my current service plan, I cannot use my hotspot or tethering features; I always receive a 'mobile number not found' error message. This is obviously a problem that needs to be fixed using root, but I'm really not finding any guides on how to go about the process. Assuming I root the device, I still wouldn't know how to go about modifying any of the current hotspot functions.
This seems to be an issue that a lot of people have, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Flash Samsung J700T ROM on J700P phone? Possible?

Hello,
Is it possible flash J700T(Tmobile) firmware onto a J700P(Spring-Boost Mobile) phone? Would it need to be rooted to do this? Kind of new here, but if anyone has any terms or search suggestions, I'd gladly look through the large knowledge base here. Just wondering if anyone thinks its remotely possible.
Broke my Tmobile phone, have access to a Boost mobile model, but want the wifi-calling feature on the Tmobile (who is my carrier).
Thanks everyone

I didn'the understand any thing except for the first two questions
So yes it will work but you need to root your device and to install Twrp
Im rooted and have twrp. Have flashed different verions of J700P firmware on the phone. Hadn't tried J700T as of yet. From what i can tell phones have same processors, etc. I will give it a try. Thanks
