Glad you guys like it
Great thanks alot !
Do you just install all the APK's and it works? will this work on the [System] FTS V0.2 + 04 Preview [UK 145 GB 2.3.3]?
Should work on that system too
Check the installation guide inside the package
Small fixes in framework and SemcGenericUxpRes, please download again

i pushed all the .apk's but on reboot, the phone process goes into a force close loop. and the power button resets the device rather than bringing up the power menu
Just to help out ive packed the latest version into a flashable update.zip for use in clockwork recovery.
Download Here (REMOVED)
P.S This is untested, all I did was package the supplied files.

EDIT: Oh, using a custom img, forget it then.
Though the zip installs just fine.

You were probably using the Reboot mod right? Push the default android.policy.jar and framework.jar to your phone

Do I have to be rooted?
@thomassafca there's a adb shell line in your 'how to' that is incorrect:
busybox cp -R /sdcard/SemcMusic.apk /system/framework/
It's should read /system/app/ instead of /system/framework/
Just a heads up.
Regards Dousan...
Ohh by the way it looks very slick indead, nice work mate
Did it with root explorer. If anybody else does it with root explorer please remeber to move the files to /system/ first, then set permissions and then move to /system/framework/ otherwise you might end up in a bootloop. This only regards the two files going to /system/framworkl/

Great
One question, what's the name of the background that you changed to black in your modded apk's?
Regards Dousan...
I've installed a CRT animation onto my stock SE firmware, will this conflict with yours and mess up my phone? Or can I just overwrite it with no issue?
I recall pushing a framework-res.apk onto my phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1065789&highlight=CRT this one infact, all I installed was the animation.

Thanks guys, sonym4n I will incorporate them into a flash zip soon so that it can be possible to update it from recovery. Not so sure about the morph as I have yet to learn the basics of how it works.

Bro, you will need to root and do it using adb, you will actually learn to use these steps on the processes of rooting. Now that its possible to root without unlocking the bootloader (keeping warranty) everyone should root their phones, i think.
Great job man, looks awesome!
This looks amazing on the Nexus and i learned something by trying to install this =] Learned another thing bout adb i didnt know how to doo so Thanks for making something amazing woot woot =]
Just intalled it, this a great work, simple and sober !
Thanks
Here is an update.zip for you guys to flash in recovery, if you dont want to go through the adb process.
JD
i have flashed the zip on the rom LeoFroyo 1.2.0
it work perfectly.
This mods are very beautifull ! You 've done a great job, continue like that, i'm waiting the next !
Thanks again to everyone for their appreciation of my work, lets give Google plenty to think about for their UI update on Gingerbread.

How would I go about doing this? I tried adb and for some reason after reboot, I have no phone/contacts app on the phone lol.
U have to rename the file cm6phone.APK to Phone.apk and then dump it in the update.zip, reflash and goodluck. Thanks all
How... do you "dump" the renamed CM6phone.apk into the update.zip? Because that doesn't work. The zip needs to be resigned if you do that.

You will need to sign it using an auto sign app, damn I am on an iPad right now so can't attach it . Anyways u will definitely find it in the forums, using winrar put the Phone.apk inside the update.zip, rename the update.zip to update.apk, auto sign will sign the file as , signed.apk, rename the file to update.zip then reflash. Hope I could get through.

I think the CM Rom owners need to get some help from their romdev gurus there, I only keep stock rom on my phone so I am unable to help you guys out much, still working with Dave, djmcnz and his Kang-o-rama, hopefully we will have things sorted soon.

I set out to edit my first system file because I was annoyed by it. The stock gallery in the Droid X has the worst background that should be fully black to help the rendering process. Instead of the application rendering some horrible gradient background it should just render the thumbnails, so I changed that real quick. Next up was the photo frame widget that the gallery uses. I love the black frame look seen in other gallery apps, so I took the white and changed it to a slick black gradient frame with a slight shadow. Granted this is NOT a huge modded thing – it will be a great addition to any Droid X, enjoy!
*Note – This may work with other FROYO devices out there – so please test and comment!*
UPDATE.ZIP Method proves to be working perfectly so try this method first!
Download ZIP File by going here...
*UPDATED METHOD*
1. Download Zip
2. Place on SD Card of device
3. Boot into recovery (clockwork recovery or other custom recovery)
4. Install Zip from SD Card
5. Locate “WJDGalleryMod.zip.zip” and click install
6. Reboot and ENJOY
Download APK File if need be - Here
Is this deoxed?
This is deodexed yes - and now the new update.zip method for clockwork is up
download link for zip appears wrong or its just me that gets the page cannot be found
Is it for 2.2 or 2.1?
2.2 right now... just updated link to file sry....working
Love it! Goes great with the theme I'm building for myself...
EDIT:
Found one flaw. On your zip file you put the MediaGallery.apk in the framework folder instead of the app folder. You might want to change that...
Works perfectly! The load time for media in the gallery seems to be greatly decreased! Thank you

Just realized, the two times i tried on rooted 2.2 OTA, I wasn't deodexed. You think that did it? I tried to just apply the zip from SD. I loved the look of the keyboard but it takes me so long to get stuff on my DX working, so I don't want to be stuck at M again (am now rooted and deodexed).
----------------
That must be it. I just tried on rooted/deodexed 2.2 OTA and it booted right up no problem.
So does this replace my existing Blackglass theme, or just replace the lame gallery? Sorry if that's obtuse, but I just started with this stuff.

Code:
adb remount
adb push liblwfa-0.A.2-mng-p1.so /system/lib/
adb install BLACK_TATLiveWallpapersSpark.apk
adb install BLUE_TATLiveWallpapersSpark.apk
adb install GREEN_TATLiveWallpapersSpark.apk
adb install RED_TATLiveWallpapersSpark.apk
If you use the original Samsung LWP already you can skip the .so file since it's already on the phone.

i'll take a shot at it when im off work.
so far i was able to make a dark grey one for myself. but im going to attempt to make a black one
ok i just made a black one and installed it. so far its working good but i havent edited the name of it yet. if youre interested then just install the zip i attached (your_app_signed.apk). if you already have the lib installed from the OP then just install this apk and thats it. long press anywhere on your screen and click livewallpaper. the apk should show up as blue sparks still but its black. let me know how it goes.
I made a black one right now, you can install it like the other ones.
This is great, love it on my n1. The only choppy-ness is right as those first two sparks collide and after that its pretty smooth. my new favorite wallpaper.
I sent the apk files to my friend with a samsung, i guess he didnt have these on his, he only had to install the apk and they worked for him.
using the black one.very nice, good work.
Can confirm it uses no cpu while asleep.
would love a update.zip or metamorph style,no luck with pushing...
pushing worked fine for me
make sure you do adb remount before you push the .so file to /system/lib/
what was the message you got?

looks like the dowloade is p.1.7z not sure if its updated or whats up..but after installing and trying to apply i get black sparks has stopped unexpectedly please try again wont load
?
You have to extract the.7z file with 7zip, you will get an .so file, push that
Personally I like WB's theme which comes with the ROM, simple and nice. However there's no way to change the battery icon to 1% except use CM settings. I tried to modified other ppl's framework-res.apk but got menu color problem, most of the current theme using black/dark menu but I like the white one.
ONLY TESTED ON Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 V053
TESTED ON Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 V054, seems working fine.
So I compiled the framework-res.apk and changed the XML to display 1% battery icon in the status bar only, didn't touch anything else.
Hope this could be kinda useful for some of you.
I've uploaded 2 versions one with my own simple battery icon while another one using kevjef420's MattedBlues battery icon. I borrowed the charging icons from kevjef420's theme hope that's fine. You're happy to change to any battery icons you'd like.
No HW LED issue with the work.

great work - but - i`m not blind, a bigger size will (must) be fine !!!!!!
how can I use this? Is it just install the framework-res_simple.apk like other applications?
EDIT: or rename to framework-res.apk and put in the folder system/framework using root explorer and set the permissions??
rename to framework-res.apk then use ADB to push to phone. Don't use root explorer, you might not have enough time to edit the permission before rebooting...=)
Highly recommended!!!!!!!!! If you want a sleek battery this is the one... although its not like the stock se rom, but its styll perfect

Did you download the zip from this thread? or the apk from MU? You don't need any other options to make it work, just flash it and reboot.
If the zip for xrec didn't work, have you tried to use the framework-res.apk from MU with ADB push?
This script got featured on XDA-Developer Tv!
This is currently in an early beta stage, more functions will be added in the future
Busybox is needed for version 0.3 and later!
You can get Busybox Here
I made an "All-in-one script" for the Padfone 2 which can do the following things for you
Go to the Padfone 2 Index page on XDA
Go to the Padfone club forum
Flash custom battery icons without you having to boot in to recovery and typing a bunch of commands yourself
Install a custom recovery
Apply root
Backup the framework-res.apk so you can restore it if you are not satisfied with the battery mod you installed
Link to my pre-rooted, deodexed, zipaligned and partially debloated ROM
Link to Animation Framework MOD by eng-stk
To start the script double click the "All-in-one-script"
Feel free to suggest features you would like to see added in the future, and ofcourse if you have any questions feel free to ask them!
