[Request] Inspire 4G BIOS bootanimation

Just about every Android phone has this and I wouldn't be surprised if someone is already working on it, but could someone port it over? I'm sure the Desire HD one would work fine, but I would like my phone to say Inspire 4G.

Sorry, tried to make one for the first time and it just loaded as a blank screen. I will keep doing my homework and figure it out!

I found a generator for the Desire HD one but it only edits general info which is nice, but doesn't edit the device.

Generate one with the info you want and I'll alter the name of the phone for you. Just put the zip here I'll download it and get it back to you tomorrow night.
As far as an actual generator, I don't have a web site to host it on. I am currently leaning to Java script and visual C++. So I don't have the capabilities to make one but I can alter it for you. So all you have to do is paste it in your data>local folder.

Here they are, I went ahead and made one of each if you want to do both in case someone else wants the original loading screen. If you don't, I want the XP one.

I am working on them should be done within the next day.
update: currently looking for the a font package. Harder to find then you think.

I still haven't found a matching font. If any one can find a matching font, and put it in a zip for me. I can have it done and ready to flash in about an hour.

I'll try and find it, looks like a basic sans, did you try Google Sans font that was made?
Update: Here we go, looks a little rougher but my guess is because it's a much larger size on my monitor.

They are being beta tested right now. I have AR 4g w/xp & without/xp, and CoreDroid v3.2 w/my custom xp boot and without/xp boot.
update: as of right now after editing them the png files are to large for the extra xp boot animations but I am working to fix that with out loosing the quality of the png file.

NM, I got it.... the zip file cannot be compressed. lol

Search the forum for "bootanimation" first before asking please, but...
Backup your stuff!!!
It a good idea to first rename your original to bootanimationold.zip or similar then you can just leave it where it is.
You'll need to have a file explorer like es, or root explorer. Copy the .zip file to the root of your sd, then go into said explorer with root permissions, move the file "bootanimation.zip" to system/media/ then set permissions to rw-r-r, and reboot.

Download. The zip file from the link.....boot into recovery, wipe cache and Davlik cache, then flash the zip file.....if you don't know how to flash a zip file and wipe cache use Google,..YouTube, or these forums and do some research bro

everytime i try to do that it starts the installation then says installation aborted

sorry i didnt really give too much info i downloaded the file put on my sd card rebooted into recovery wiped davlik cache and wiped data then choose zip from sd card then chose the file i downloaded(did i need to change the name?) it starts then gets to a point and says
"Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer suported.
Amend scripting was deprecated by google in android 1.5
It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the clockworkmod 3.0 gingerbread based recovery.
Please switch to edify scripting (updater-script and update-binary)to create working update zip packages.
Installation aborted."

Sounds like you have a different version of ClockworkMod. If you are on 3.0.0.5 go back to 2.5.0.7. You can do this via the ROM Manager.
Edit: I had the same problem with Clear as Day theme if I remember right. Downgrading fixed it.

What browser are you using? Some browsers don't like certain sites. If you are on Mozilla Firefox for example, try accessing via Google Chrome...etc.

Is this theme compatible with Kings UNleashed BasiXtreme Beta R4???

I love this, so much.
I don't know if this is a 'bug' per se but after flashing this my r3 battery indicator doesn't keep a running tally of the remaining power. It still shows numbers in the icon, but now instead of going 99 --->98 ----> etc it goes 100 ---> 80 ----> etc. Is there a way I can fix on my end? thanks!

Always do a NAN Backup before changing system files:
You have to be running a Rom with Sense framework. HTC Sense or MySense
As in the tread title attached is HTC Sense 3.0 Instant Capture Camera WITH PANORAMA.
Recovery
Restart in recovery
install update from zip
select Update-Camera-signed.zip from your save directory
RESTART the phone an ENJOY
TESTED:
On Sense Roms 2.0+
Special Instructions to avoid FC:
- HDR has to be selected thru effects selection or it will FC (SCREEN SHOT 3)
- Burst function doesn't work.
-1080 Recording Possibly dual-core required. (on some phones it will just record in 720 even though you select 1080)

flashing that zip didn't work for me
so i grabbed the newer HTCCamera.apk (4102 KB in size) out of the zip file
and using root explorer i went to system/app - mount R/W
then deleted the existing HTCCamera.apk
then copied the newer one into /system/app
long press it and click on Permissions
this is what you want ............................. then rebooted and HTC Camera 3.00+

can we do this using adb. Because I dont have root explorer

Downloaded. Flashed. Did not work. Restarted the phone and still have they old camera. Running virtuous fusion 1.0.6 and I've tried twice now. Still same problem but in recovery it does tell me that install successful. Any ideas without having to use adb?

Tried both methods flashing and root explorer. Root explorer would not keep the permissions setting after I set them. Both methods keep the old camera. I'm on Fresh 4.0.0.4

I flash it and the camera works fine, my gallery doesn't work though, any way to sort this? I'm on RCMixHD 1.3.

How do I get this to install alongside my current camera and not replace?

i pushed all the .apk's but on reboot, the phone process goes into a force close loop. and the power button resets the device rather than bringing up the power menu

Just to help out ive packed the latest version into a flashable update.zip for use in clockwork recovery.

That sounds weird.. Did you tried to restart?
You were probably using the Reboot mod right? Push the default android.policy.jar and framework.jar to your phone

@thomassafca there's a adb shell line in your 'how to' that is incorrect:
busybox cp -R /sdcard/SemcMusic.apk /system/framework/
It's should read /system/app/ instead of /system/framework/

Did it with root explorer. If anybody else does it with root explorer please remeber to move the files to /system/ first, then set permissions and then move to /system/framework/ otherwise you might end up in a bootloop. This only regards the two files going to /system/framworkl/

I've installed a CRT animation onto my stock SE firmware, will this conflict with yours and mess up my phone? Or can I just overwrite it with no issue?

Procedure to install via CWM Recovery
According to popular requests, I made a flashable version of the new Market 3.2.0. This will solve all the installation issues.
1. Download the Flashable zip file here.
2. Do a Nandroid Backup.
3. Reboot into Recovery & Flash the zip.
4. Now reboot & enjoy.......
Procedure to install via Root Explorer Method
1. Download the apk file from the attachment to your sd card.
2. Now using Root explorer, go to /system/app
3. Mount the system to r/w.
4. Now search for Vending.apk & rename it to Vending.apk1
5. Copy the file you just downloded to /system/app
6. Now press & hold the app and select Permissions
7. Select only the options given below. Now REBOOT & enjoy.....
The original file you see in /system/app is Vending.apk it has to be renamed. Don't mix it up with the attachment below, since the name is same for both.

Installed, but my Market looks exactly the same as before, and nothing like the SS on the first post ):
Says 3.2.0 but don't see anything different.

Not for nothing but the instructions posted didn't work for me. I renamed it to Vending.Apk set permissions as above.also had to change owner to 0-Root under both spots in owneri.then I tapped it hit install.over wrote old no need to reboot

has this market fixed the issue with people who change their screen density?

Force closes no matter what method I try. Set permissions, rebooted, and everything.

I had that issue. I cleared data/cache of market and still no go. Then I just clicked the phonessky apk and just installed it. Seemed to fix everything

Works. But it's still kind of sticky though.

That didn't work on my galaxy sII.
Installed via instructions and works fine.
I'm new to android, does sideloading the apk like this take me 'out of the loop' of normal over-the-air updates that the market would have gotten otherwise?

There is some problem with mediafire. Download the file from my post in the myTouch 4G section.
