The problem I am having is that once the phone rings and I pick up the phone from the table and hold the phone vertically the volume of the ringtone turns very low where you can barely hear it. Is this normal? Is anyone else having the same problem?
Yes, this is a feature included in most HTC phones. Why bother ringing when you already picked it up? But I'm sure theres a way to disable it.

oh okay, thanks for the reply! I didn't know this, I am new the the HTC Sensation, my previous phone was the iphone and it didn't have this.
It's not a bug, it's a feature That's true for this one. Go Settings>Sound>Quiet ring on pickup to disable it.

the problem was actually on a bluetooth speaker i have. i opened it and had to trim the circutboard to make the board and speaker fit in a very small area and i had to cut off the volume + button from the circutboard and i lowered the volume on accident and could not raise the volume to were i can hear it thats why i wanted to raise the max volume for the bluetooth but after messing with a small strand of copper wire i was able to pull a macgyver and raise the volume back up

If you really want it to be a lot louder and distorted just go to the android market and download the free "Galaxy Tuner" has a lot of options for other stuff besides just the sound/volume and so on.....
Phone is ringing, and I try to tell the call can not be. Ring in the display to retire but I can not tell because the call is then drop.Rom InsertCoin_ICS_STABLE_5.1.5, PG58IMG-3.32.401.3
Is there a solution

What?
Your going to have to try harder to make sense and give a meaningful thread title.
I can't make out even the faintest idea of what your talking about other than the phone is ringing.
Code:
pick it up maybe?
My mind is full of f***

I'm guessing your translator needs some work, but from what I can make out, when your phone rings, you try to see who is calling, but the call is dropped before you can see?

Phone rings, but when you try to answer the call simply can not and if I try.Simply can not reply. I call the same number that called me regularly .If phone is not in the style lock screen when I call the green handset for answer works ok and then it may occur normally and without problems, is a problem in the lock screen.

Hi,
My Samsung Omnia i8350 was working great but suddenly today I can't hear the caller at all, although they can hear me. Tried everything from changing the SIM to calling different carriers but no luck.
I hope there's a fix for this?
Thanks!
Yes. The fix name is the "manufacturer's warranty".

Hmm, it's a pity... BTW, did you tried Bluetooth or regular headsets (headphones)? Or wait... Check first - may be you accidently paired with Bluetooth device/headphones?
I would definitely suggest trying both headphones and a headset.
Also, silly question, but did you chek the in-call volume? It's different from the volume used in the rest of the phone (it's the *only* different volume meter the OS has, somewhat to my annoyance). I know I've accidentally pressed and held the volume-down rocker while on a call a time or two.
Hey guys, I just got my Nexus 5 today and ive noticed when in a quiet room, if im texting, or anything else that makes the phones vibrate via key press, it makes like a whistle kind of sound from the vibrates motor. It seems kind of weird. Anyone else notice this or could it be a flaw with my phone? I know theres other threads about the faulty vibration phones being shipped out but haven't read anything about this noise I hear.

If I did Id say thats some skills to be able to fart every time I hit a letter on the keyboard when texting. If that was the case I think id need to get myself checked out, not the phone :silly:

I have the same problem. I assumed this was the "vibration defect" I've seen people talk about.
I haven't felt like getting a replacement and honestly I kind of prefer my keyboard without vibration now that I've been using it like that...

Ok at least im not alone :highfive: It doesnt bother me much, I just wasn't sure if it was normal or not. All the other threads I read about the defects with vibration didn't match up. I'm not going to worry about it just yet :silly:
As the title says.
I am tired of finding an app which will bring back the Silent mode in Lollipop, nothing works, including the one which was released earlier today claiming about bringing Silent mode back, SoundHUD, it does not work on my Note 3.
So I am asking this here, in case there is an app and I don't know it.
Again, I have a Galaxy Note 3, so if there's an app which works on a Nexus or those type of devices doesn't mean it will work on mine.
I 2nd this. I want a solution for this as well. App/Script/Hack/Mod.....whatever.

Yeah, I know. It's kinda weird that there's no app or mod for this so far, L is released pretty much for over a month now!
Hit the volume button, then none? It will put the phone in interruption mode and silent. You can even choose when it will go back to sound mode in case you forget to change it back.

Check this article http://www.androidauthority.com/soundhud-lollipop-silent-mode-589336/ Haven't tried it I'm on KK so don't ask, i just remembered i saw it and thought it might do the trick for you.
Apparently, Samsung agrees with us here! The new Sound/Notification/Interruption features suck ballz. They will be fixed immediately in an incoming update rolling around the world.

First of all that will disable all sorts of notifications, I mean the display won't pop up, there will be no LED and most importantly the Alarm sound will be silent too, LOL.
Google is a genius.

Yeah, thanks for mentioning that, but you might have missed my original post. In case any one else gets excited about that app, well let me tell you, it does absolutely nothing. The dev should bugger off honestly.

Thanks for these, I have seen these articles, but as you can see its for S5, but I would like the update on my Note 3 too, I hope they will release it soon.
