I have found 1 major issue with my Infuse. Whenever I play a game, or watch a video (either streamed from the web, or playing back a video I recorded myself), the audio is about a half second behind the video.
I brought the phone back to AT&T, where I bought it from, and tried a few other Infuses (including 2 floor demos, a current employee's Infuse, and 1 brand new one out of the box), and I get the same result. I tested it by playing a couple Youtube videos, and I also recorded myself snapping my finger (when playing it back, you see me snap my finger, but almost 1 second later, you hear the snap). If I record a video, and play it on my computer, everything is fine.
Calling Samsung support, they state that some of the Infuses have this issue, and that there is no current "fix", but that one is being worked on.
Anyone else have this problem, and/or know what I could do? Thanks in advance.
Nope..
sent from Infuse but miss my captivate on cont. 5.5.... One day this can be as good...
I've definitely noticed this issue on YouTube.

I have not noticed this with my infuse, definitely have that issue with my Cappy...
Actually with you tube it seemed to be during the times when the network is busy. I also have noticed this on my Cappy when I played back a video that I had saved to my SD card.

That's disappointing..
YouTube app is much smoother, but it seems to pause a lot for buffering. So what's worse, pauses for buffering or choppy playback and missed frames?

same here on the FIOS which makes me wonder how much of the choppy/buffering problems are based on wifi speed/strength.
So looks like the HD playback in the App is no longer choppy, I think it's good enough for me. Hope there is a fix for the x264 playback, but I guess I am asking for too much.
Just getting a chance to test this.
Video: Boyonce - Run The World
Youtube app in HD mode , no stutter or buffering
Youtube web site @ 720, slow framerate 10-15FPS
Can anyone tell me where on the app you can select the multiple resolutions that you see in the browser window. I don't know if I was watching the 720 or the 1080.

What's the issue with FIOS? I thought it was crazy high speed. Is it high latency or something?

i meant that perhaps signal strength and speed is probably whats giving people issues while streaming.
say for instance, if theyre trying to stream videos off a motel 6 wifi vs their own home service
what I meant was I have fios and no buffering issues which leads me to believe the person with buffering issues has a **** connection.

I've noticed the buffering to be an issue with both 3.0.1 & 3.1. Not sure what the cause is, I don't think it's my network as it'll be stuck buffering one moment, then the next moment it has no issues.
My network is 20mbs and runs super fast with everything else...

I've seen this happen on my TF and on desktop and phone. It's an issue with youtube I think. Sometimes the intertubes get full. Reloading or waiting out the congestion is the only thing to do.
Also, no stuttering or lag of any kind on my TF as of 3.1. This puppy finally runs like it should.
I recently upgraded the latest (3.1) version and the Youtube's HD videos works smoothly. Not any jerks or continuous loading.
Has anyone noticed on the Youtube app that full screen orients only one way (with the Asus logo on top left). Even if I have the screen turned with the Asus logo on the bottom right, as soon as I hit the full screen, it will show upside down. This is with the Youtube app.
I got a HTC Sensation 4G from T-Mobile a couple of days back, its a great phone but i discovered something very annoying today. I transferred a few divx/xvid videos to the phone, the videos appear in the gallery and i can play them but after about 1min 30 sec the sounds disappears! This happens with every video i have tried so far. I tried using mobo player but still the same problem. If i seek forward the sound comes back only to disappear in a min or so.
I dont know if this handset specific or something else
Several other threads on this issue here, last time I checked people were saying that Dice Player worked fine (its the best player for the Sensation anyways, so well worth buying).
Ok, so I bought a Nexus S outright, just the phone from bestbuy back in March. Everything works with my phone except when steaming videos (using youtube) the playback is choppy. The audio works perfect and fine. It is not the buffering either. When the video is playing, the picture will freeze for about 3-7 seconds, while the audio is still playing normally, then the video will pick back up in sync with the playback. Basically it is impossible to watch video so my phone useless when it comes to watching anything on it. I realize I should of done something earlier, but is it too late to try to get bestbuy to give me a new phone? Or should I contact samsung? Or am I just screwed?
[Q] Did you try updating the flash player that might help

Hi guys so first of all I have a brand new HTC Wildfire S. This is on Telstra Pre-Paid and I am having issues when playing Youtube videos. When I am watching the videos there is a distinct stutter in the video playback but the audio is fine and is uninterrupted. Now my previous Wildfire S (faulty) did not do this and no matter what I do I cannot get it to stop.
I have hard reset the phone and remove the SD card and tried it from a stock install and it still stutters. The funny thing is it stopped doing this all on its own and because of the horrible battery life on this device it went flat over night and then the problem started again. I have tried factory resetting once more with no success at fixing this issue.
Can anyone help me out?
Guess not.
I experience the same problem.
Just now I downloaded YouTube App from market.
Then it solved.
You should try also.
