Never know. Its not as fast as I expected. Maybe Sense 3.0 isn't the weak link afterall!

Wow, where do i get one of these? Shame im from uk, otherwise i would have that one!

DO YOU THINK THAT IS CRAZY??????
On the HTC UK site, you can go to the Sensation page and DOWNLOAD HTC SYNC. On the US HTC site there is no download for HTC SYNC but it's hiding in a folder on the SD card... What's up with that?

I'm in UK and can't get sync to work says failed driver android phone and i can't get it to connect ? I've give up and just connect as normal to pc

HTC Sync is also on the included SD-card of my unlocked, SIM-free european HTC Sensation. I noticed it while checking out the cards contents, just before removing it for a 32 GB card
But I never had a need for Sync, everything runs through Google or Exchange for me. Local sync is so 90s
If you still have a need for Sync, you may find it on the US support-site: http://www.htc.com/us/support

Yeah I know its on the SD card, I just have 2GB of outlook data I have to transfer..

How could I get my hands on it
Sent from my HTC Liberty using XDA App
we'll have to wait till nov for it to come out and then well need someone to do a dump of the phone.
Aria official update to 2.2 is going to be next month, the same time the gratia will be out for sale in Europe. Expect a liberated 2.2 sense late Nov or in December.
Sent from my HTC Liberty using XDA App
Seriously? That's getting me excited but at&t will take ages to approve and stuff
Sent from my HTC Liberty using XDA App
At&t had 2.2 sense this whole time, they are the ones making us wait.
Sent from my HTC Liberty using XDA App
I wish they would be a little quicker for all the all updates
Sent from my HTC Liberty using XDA App
Seems like someone got hold of gratia 2.2 rom. It would not be too long before attn1 or someone will get hold of this and port it over to Aria.

Thanks
Anyone know exactly how close the Gratia is to the Aria, other than the second cam?

Thanks Noz... Wonder if this will be a direct-flashable ROM image. If so, Attn1 should have no problem merging his mods into it...

I think so too. US Aria has a slightly different frequency than Euro Gratia. I had Touch HD (euro) which is capable of 3G, but could only use Edge on AT&T in US.

help me out to buy a good phone?

hey all i am planning to buy a new android phone, and my history is a wildfire(cm7.1) which i sold, and i am currently owning an htc hd7( with xboxmod rom). and i am not that much happy with windows 7 phone( and cant find any android rom for it).
so.......
well i am planning to sell hd7 and buy an android phone.
i am confused with a lot of android phones around, so i decided to ask you people.
my specifations are..
1) hdpi screen 800*480
2) 1 or 1.2 ghz chipset( qualacom or tegra??) with a min 512 mb ram
3)good gpu,( i dont play that much, but like to make apps and graphics faster)
4) blue tooth 2 or 2.1 with a2dp.
5)some internal memory( 512mb - 2gb range) and mor than 8gb external micro sd support.
6) wifi b/g/(if i can get then n too)
7) good hsdpa speed( i mean 3g)
8)and all sensors needed for android device( we can omit gyro)
9) 5mp cam with 720p video rec( i have sonyericsson c905 for photo, lol 8mp cybershot phone).
10) a good battery life( like 4-5 hours calling/browsing in 2g or 3g, 5-8 hrs video/audio playback, and i really care about audio quality through headphones, it needs to be good)
these are my hardware spec, now my software spec are..
1) i should be able to load honeycomb( if a rom is available for the device), and may be upto icecream sandwich( little overkill??)
2) easily bootloader unlockable and rootable( i dont want to pay for it)
3) i need the best roms to be loaded into it( like cm, miui, etc and i never care for stock roms, as we can flash anything to it.)
4) multi bootable( if i get some thing like hd2 or so??, ) well its not a need, but if i can have it, then i am ok.
i like to have a htc( top priority), sonyericsson, or samsung device. well probably a phone with top spec in a middle class budget ( some thing that cost like htc desire S.). nop i am not going after latest workstations with tegra 2 cpu 1.2 or 1.4 ghz. which costs a lot money
what are your options?? does it worth to by the "old legend" HTC HD2? or you have better options?
Which problem is with HD7 ??
I'd recommend the Galaxy S II, it meets the majority of your requirements and should get an ICS official update soon
Galaxy S II my man. Everything you need. It will be with T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T.
1. 2.3 Gingerbread OS, up-gradable to ISC
2. 4.3 Super AMOLED screen with 1080p recording
3. 1.2GHz dual-core
4. 18 hr talk time battery
5. 1Gb Ram, 32Gb Internal memory with up to 32Gb memory slot
and more...
Click the thank you button and show me some love and that I helped.
Good luck
all about s2.. but dudes i am personaly an htc fan, though i also accept sonyericsson. but not thatmuch used with samsung.. coz, in the hardware respect, i have seen that htc have much more classy finish and are quite problem free.. also samsung is a newer in android / smartphone market, where as htc has proven their lagency in smatphone market. so pls pick an htc device. what about dezire hd?
I would suggest the HTC EVO 3D or the HTC sensation XL all the way....
If you want to save some money, then I would go for the Desire S.

Oh! Ok, I also I like the HTC's android devices. The latest and fastest HTC are.
1. HTC Rezound (Verizon)
2. HTC Vivid (AT&T)
3. HTC Amaze (T-mobile)
4. HTC Evo Design (Sprint)
These are the latest and fastest with alot of memory HTC phones.
Take the Galaxy S 2 or the Galaxy Nexus. For a cheap and good for modding take the galaxy si9000

Import from china might not add much. 25 bucks would be my guess. The trick is does it have English built in.

They're making so much money off each phone
I'm gonna wait for them to start popping up on Expansys and E-Bay. Hopefully I can get one by November.
Only problem is, you're stuck with MIUI. I love it, but flexibility would be nice.
I don't think they released the proprietary files/libs for the Mi-One, so ROM development never got started for it.
I hope it isn't the same case for this one.

The question is how will the dev community be?
It's a cool phone with great specs and all but if there is little dev support, and Xiaomi is slow with updates, it's not worth getting imo and better to wait for "big" phone companies like HTC or Samsung to out their next big device. For example, when will this phone get JB?

Oooooh. Yeah, that would be tedious to deal with. Shame, because it's such an awesome looking (aesthetically and specs-wise) that it would be sick to run an AOSP-based on it!

[Q] HTC One or Lumia 925?

Hi,
I have had both a Samsung Galaxy S2 and a Nokia Lumia 520 and currently I am looking to buy a new phone.
I really like both OS and don't know which phone should I get.
HTC One or Lumia 925?
Thank you.
No doubt, HTC One is BETTER
besides android os is fully customizable...WP os is solid like a rock (no much change can be done...just like iOS:laugh
Refer to this page for more informations.
Regards
925
the Lumia 925 is actually a solid device...

What this guy said ^^

i'm back :}

had MotoQ, BlackBerry Storm, iPhones starting from the 3G... 2 years or so ago i ventured and used a HTC One X for about 3 months.. mainly due to battery life (and the Apple eco system in my house) i went back to iOS and got rid of the HTC. currently have the iPhone 5s.. purchased a HTC One S (this time i am keeping iPhone.. might be switching from time to time), should receive HTC One S on this wednesday, kinda anxious.
Make sure you get the S4 CPU ver of One S. I can't believe people still buying One S, it is a two years old phone though the phone is still good. One X is very bad battery life because of Nvidia T3 CPU.
