Unrooting superone click Question - Defy Android Development

I rooted my defy with superoneclick but after one day i unroot it with superone click.
Because i dont like rooting and found nothing new.
After unroot i installed Root Checker software to check my cell unrooted properly or not.
When i click on verify root it says root access failed but when i click on BusyBox verification it says busybox is installed.
plz tell me how to remove that and what is there function , and is there any issue if it will remain in cell.
Thanks

i always use this version of superoneclick and successfully root and unroot my device
do it as follows
root-reboot
unroot-reboot
check for successfully unrooting, by entering from a command prompt, adb shell and typing su command

Root checker saying you dont have root access and i think i unroot it properly and now there is no superuser app in my cell.
But root checker saying busybox is installed plz tell me how to remove that.

With a Busybox installer app from the market. But you need root for IT.

If OP doesn't know how to check for root, I doubt OP knows where to enter those commands.
Download Titanium Backup from the Market, run it and it will say on the first screen if you're rooted.
if you rooted with the newest version then check your apps for a super user app. if you have it then you have root.
If you rooted the phone properly, you would be posting this in General

I897UCKB1 root question

Hi everyone. I searched the forums and couldnt find an answer to this question.
My friend brought over his captivate to update on my PC (since his wouldnt recognize his Captivate). He was running rooted stock. I updated and he wanted to root again so we are trying to root using SuperOneClick v1.7. We run SuperOneClick and it says it was successful. Superuser is listed in the apps. Whenever we try to run a app that requires root access (Titanium Backup, Screen Shot IT) it was that they can not acquire root privileges. Can anyone tell me what we might be doing wrong? I appreciate any help.
Did you reboot after rooting?

Rooting tbolt problems

Sorry if there is a topic open already I could not find any answers I rooted my tbolt yesterday everything went fine I followed exactly how the instruction showed. downloaded all 3 files at the end if root in bootloader s-off instead of on. Now I installed superuser reboot and then I installed Rom manager and tried to install clockmod recovery this what the massage I get an error occurred while attempting to run privileged commend I tried to root 2 time and still nothing please help

You shouldn't have to install su. If I were you I'd run through the root process again, and I mean redownload the files again and check for proper adb & driver setup.
Edit: Actually first open up super user and see if Rom manager has been allowed. Also, can you boot into recovery?

Superuser is blank nothing is there and I can not reboot in to recovery

Were you using the Three click root method or the manual ADB root method?
Sounds like you didn't fully root. I recommend you root again using this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=996616
But before that to ensure you have adb setup, download and install this:

Ok I will try that when I get from work thank

The three click did not work I use manual adb

Download Busybox, install, reboot, then see if all is well.
I agree with getting busybox off the market, but that shouldn't stop you from getting CWR to install, but you may need it for other apps that require it. I had the exact same problems when I rooted and I just restarted my phone 3-4 times and it worked...
I tried busy box I tried everything I could think of

Capt kirk Easy one click root script is perfect. Works without a hitch every time.

Choose "fix problem" or something like that in Titanium backup. It will install missing busybox.

it doesnt have a "fix problem" it just has "problem"? and it doesnt do anything to help. but i used root checker and it says busybox is installed correctly but when i go to check root access it says "root access is not properly configuered or was not granted. it also says SU binary not found or not operating properly... do you know what i am doing wrong??
Did you allow titanium backup root access when prompted ? You can check in Superuser.

all you needed to do was update super user and it would work...the su binaries are outdated on the rootdebugfs program.
I tryed that it would download them then fail to install it... superuser denied superuser superuser permissions. Either way I like supersu bettwr .
