Because it's already optimized? Sure Google could optimize it some more, but they're working on optimizing dual-core processors now.
Best guess is that its already good to run smoothly, any further optimization will be transparent to end users ...
Hope that they do something to get better battery life, and improve web browsing experiencing

I see some improvement. My antutu scores are consistently about 100 pts higher.
The one touch optimization maybe the phone more responsive but draining a little bit of battery life so far but I think its the CPU governor

I wonder if anyone would be able to cook up some gaming optimizations for our Roms, I have seen GTA 3 with amazing graphics and speed but only for short bits in between lag

I have no lag... On any game I play.

Are we going Old School with Tiny Windows XP Gaming Edition? That's what popped into my head when he said game optimized.
I remember making lite discs for bloat removal and game optimization.

I'm only 18, while I was growing up I mainly played console games. From the Nintendo to the N64, PsOne, GameCube, ps2. I only recently a couple of years ago splurged and bought a laptop that could run the games I play now days.
But back on topic, OP what type of optimization are you talking about? Our phones are honestly almost the fastest on the Market.

Like would more free memory eliminate lag? Because I don't really have too much apps loaded in my phone I just hate that lag GTA 3 has here and there, like if I could kill the little lag that the game has while still maintaining the display settings at max that would be cool

Yeah, try minimizing the amount of apps that are running in the background. I try to kill all apps when I run a process intensive app.

On Topic: He can also try using custom V6 settings. I know most Roms come with it preoptimized but not all phones are created equal.
OP, are you using an overclock kernal or the plain stock one?
Off Topic: Favorite console? Between me and my father I have owned almost every console known to man. Dreamcast is still my favorite.

I never owned a dreamcast, my friend I used to live next to did.
I'm not sure what my fav console is, the psone with the screen on it was PRETTY sweet when I was still really young. Especially since we made a lot of trips to our family 1000 miles away.

Dude, you missed out. SSX Tricky, Jet Set Radio, etc were my go to on the dreamcast.
At least you had, in my opinion, the best Nintendo system. N64, ah, Mario 64 and Zelda OOT remains the best and I really enjoyed Conkers Bad Furday.
OP, try wiping cashe in recovery and fix permissions.

Personally I think it's different enough to make me want to try it. I just don't know if it's $50 better than the Galaxy Nexus.
At least with the Nexus you get a ton of development. But, if I had the money I'd try it out for sure.

#1 on the first link. I never said it was accurate. The 337 has the same CPU as the 9505 in the first link. That is one website's subjective rating of the phone, and not based on pure benchmarks.
You do realize that the quality of the architecture on a SoC determines how fast it will be? Clock frequency hardly matters in that respect. Its the reason why a Cortex-A15 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz trumps the 1.9 GHz Krait in almost all major benchmarking platforms.
also the s4 doesn't even run 1900mhz more like 1800mhz

It still portrays an accurate thesis in the respect that SoC architecture>CPU frequency.
The title of this thread sounds like the title to a Spiderman comic or something.
