Awesome. I saw that but was too skeptical to give it a shot. I'm glad someone did. I've tried other batteries that are the same size as stock, that claim to be larger capacity and they never seem to be the real deal.

Even if I get just the same amount of juice that the stock battery gives me , it's only $10... Plus it's not coming from China.

meh... why not? at that price i'll give it a try. i'll post my findings once i've received it and gone through a whole charging cycle with it.
oh... and to the guy who made the comment about it not coming from china:
Anker is a US registered trademark of LaptopMate, belonging to Fantasia Trading LLC., founded in San Jose in 2009. After years' wholehearted efforts, Fantasia has experienced dramatic growth and remains committed to sharing reliable, high-quality and user-friendly consumer electronics made in China with the whole world, for goodwill between people.
After seeing it was only 10 bucks I myself purchased one as well. I should receive it by Wednesday so like others on the thread, I'll check back after then.
But one as well...

Ditto. However, having a spare battery does come in handy in certain situations.
For those who travel a lot like me, it's very handy to have a spare oppose to an external charger. It's much easier to just pop a fresh battery in and not have to find a charger to stand next to a wall outlet to make calls...
I do admit though, the HTC cover is pretty funky...it's a first...very odd...

I travel a lot too so ill need a spare battery. It just worries me. I have three for my hd2 that I was using, but popping the battery cover off on the hd2 is simple. I feel like doing so on the sensation will eventually wear it out. Or ill break something. Total pain in the ass.

I just picked one of these up myself. I should expect it by Tuesday since the seller is local. I'll keep everyone updated as well but so far the stock battery hasn't done well compare to my N1 since i've switched to this phone.

No offense, but for the link you have for that battery, any battery that only costs $5 has got to be cheaply made and I wouldn't think ANYONE would want anything less than a high grade battery to put in their phone.
So much risk with buying something so cheap compared to paying more for a legit product. For the battery to overheat and damage the phone definitely wouldn't be worth the cost savings with this product.
Just my 2 cents, but to each their own.

Thanks for the input. However I've never had problems in the past before buying aftermarket battery replacements for any smartphone I've owned. So that's why I continue to buy off eBay, mainly because of great experience.
Anyway, I always do my research first before purchasing aftermarket products and I've never come across anyone with any complaints regarding batteries destroying their phone before....at least with the same phones that I've used. I mean I understand there's always that risk with the cheaper products, but it doesn't really concern me unless I've seen proof that aftermarket batteries for this device specifically has in fact destroyed one's HTC.
No point for me in spending $50 on a product just because of speculation. That's my 2 cents ^.^

Sorry if I inferred you didn't do your research before making a purchase, my apologies if it came across as such.
And if you've had great success with after market batteries in the past and feel comfortable do as such, obviously, good to hear.
Batteries just pose such a problem if they aren't legit, scares me away from purchasing anything other than an HTC battery. Again, that's just me.
I can tell you from experience, and others here can as well, that if you call HTC and complain about the battery life, etc, they'll send you a new one for free. They also sent me a new battery door and SIM door too, no questions asked. It's worth doing if you want another battery!

The dock is pretty sweet. I specifically got the spare battery because of the dock
I would say it holds the device pretty well. But because the usb port is a bit on the right side of the device, when you plug it in the weight of the phone makes it slant a bit to the left but it's not really that noticeable as you can barely tell in the photos. Regardless it still holds pretty well. I would think the 3rd image I uploaded should speak for itself lol

I just use the super cheap ones that come with my cases. They're pretty good. I don't necessarily need a superfantabulous one because if u mess up then it's such a waste of money. I always screw up on the first try ^_^'
There's anti-glare ones too that are pretty good if you don't like always having to wipe your finger prints off your screen. But they usually degrade the resolution quality very slightly which people usually do mind with an HD screen

Don't worry bella, it's no bigger or heavier than the GIANT shells/cases/whatever many of us decide to put on our phones anyway.
It weighs 2 oz and ADDS 1450mAh battery capacity.
I'll probably get one to use on trips, etc. Not much of a daily driver for me at that weight. The Infuse weighs just under 5 oz naked.

I guess the reasoning is here that you have the 2nd battery already attached to the phone, and you don't have to carry it around separately somewhere.

*STING* ... lol, guess I deserved that, haha. If I see a big bulge in your pants, I'll remember it's your phone tho, so I'm not confused it might be something else, ehhe *sting back!*...
At 1450 mah it's not spectacular, but great for a road trip or flights to Asia... I'd just as soon carry extra batteries at $25 each, since I can get 1750 mah x 3 for the same price you paid for 1450, but I definitely understand the all-in-one concept, makes sense.

I do tend to think of my Infuse as a mini-tablet that is more or less pocketable. In fact, I haven't touched my iPad since I got it.
My fiancee did suggest I leave my phone in the car when we went to my daughter's kindergarten graduation today. It does create quite a bulge. I'm sure she didn't want me garnering any extra attention from the soccer moms. She tends to be the jealous type.

Yeh, I think guys and girls carry messenger bags or purses or some sort of backpack many places, so a few years ago I'd have called you crazy for suggesting a 4.5" phone, but now that I have one, I kinda want an updated 7" Galaxy Tab w\ voice\data capability. I almost pulled the trigger and bought the International Version of the Galaxy Tab 7" (it's unlocked, has voice and SMS enabled)... but given the slow processor I opted to wait until a more viable option comes out soon. I never hold a phone up to my head, and 90% of my use is text\data.... so I think it's my next natural step in evolution.
And LOL on the comment about the soccer moms w\ phone in pocket, hahaha

I don't think it will make that much of a difference. It's the same as plugging it into the charger. Besides, the stock battery is replaceable and cheap.
Now if I were using the offGRID case on the iPhone, I might wonder about the long term effect on that internal, hard(er) to replace and (more) expensive battery.

Personally, If I forget to charge the phone I've forgotten to charge the backup battery as well. You've also got the added bonus of always having to carry a usb cable around with you!
I don't know if I'd place much trust in the chinese knockoff but I guess its always hit or miss.
I bought a usb charging wrist strap on thinkgeek mostly cause its versatility seemed neat, connectors for all sorts of devices. I sadly was using a blackberry at the time but it charged it perfectly fine, the shift and photon don't charge with it for long, like 1-2 percent and then act like its disconnected. I haven't tried with the phones off, it may possibly work fine if the phone is powered off.

I was looking at the same battery pack. I might jump on it. If you get the next level up as well you get $10 off on amazon. (This only is in consideration for me since my friend needs one too...) So $75 for both the 5600mah model and 8400mah.
I never really forget to charge my phone...it just runs out. My Epic was not the best...I always kept a spare battery around and I'd need it even on normal days. So I guess I have to get an external one like this. I guess it's more versatile in the end.
Oh right and as for the knockoff, I'm usually all for trying them but this one doesn't seem cheaper enough for me to get it. Since I'd just be carrying it around a lot for emergencies (or, long days) I'd want something I think I can trust to hold a charge for maybe a month without me checking on it.
duracell powersource mini
i have the Duracell powersource mini it does it job, it will fully charge the photon q from 20 to about 90% but that is also with the phone on, so it is still using the battery while it is charging also, and i like it, if you check around at some of the truck stops, they will have them, i got 5 for 7 dollars each
I have the RAVPower and it really saved me at Comic-Con. Fully charged my XT910 MAXX twice and had a bit left over!

According to their website, the Tylt only has 1500mah compared to the 5600mah of the Anker.
If this is true, the Tylt = FAIL.
I have a tylt purchased from sprint store that is 5400 mAh and its been real great addition to have but honestly this phone gets double what my my 1800mAh batts I got for the epic gave me.

WRONG! The tylt we sell in the store has 5600mah capacity! And you can use it with multiple kind of devices and charge two of those devices at the same time
Tylt= win!

If you have links to the information you claim, why don't you post it up instead of calling me "wrong" ???
PS.
I was not wrong.
I posted "according to their website" and "if this is true".
Their official site did not have the info you are claiming.

Just to play devil's advocate in fairness to 903, you didn't provide a link to said official site and the information you referenced yourself either, and even with the qualifiers, the all-caps 'FAIL' descriptor could also be interpreted as a bit aggressive from the start. You could have instead simply said 'If this is true, then it appears to me that the Anker is a better/superior solution' or something along those lines.
Not trying to help facilitate an argument here by any means, just saying there's 2 ways of looking at either post, and regardless, there's no real need for anyone to get their feathers ruffled IMO.

He/she never post their "claim" information saying that they went to tylt official website yet it took me 15 seconds to:
Go to tylt official website
Copy the link to power plant
Go to xda app
And paste the site for everybody to see
Lol I would love to see the page he/she went to cause if they would have went to the official website they would have saw the powerplant......

Neither of you made mention of the model until now. One could have been looking at the Zumo and the other the powerplant. Does it really matter though guys?

Logic doesn't always apply when talking about people. Was a simple misunderstanding, no point in continuing past that.
Some of these posts make me laugh......
Regardless, the Tylt that was introduced by 903tex is a BRICK compared to the Anker.
The comparable sized Tylt to the Anker is obviously the one I was talking about and I provided the link below.
The Tylt with similar exterior dimension to the Anker is 1500 mah and is a fraction of the 5600mah provided by the similarly sized Anker.
So, the Tylt IS a FAIL.
http://www.tylt.com/zumo/index.html
Best Buy has a version of the Anker called a "AGPtek" on their website.
But, it appears to be sold by a 3rd party on Best Buy's website.
Can anyone explain this?

I ordered the Anker from Amazon and I'm happy with it.
It easily fits in my front pocket with my wallet and keys and it charges the Moto Q in about the same time as a wall charger.
I just place the Anker on a desk/table/bar and and lean the Moto Q on it while it's charging like a prop stand. Pretty inconspicuous and convenient.

I guess i got lucky. Last year i saw one on slickdeals by P/A tech (some knockoff) but its 11000mAh and has a 1A and a 2A charge port. I can charge my phone in like 2 hours on the 2A port and get 4-5 charges out of the battery pack. Best part is, on the deal it was like $25. If you have the patients, watch those sites. A lot of stuff that comes up is junk but every once in a while you find gold.

Do you find the Sony Xperia Z’s 2330mAh battery a bit lacking? If so you may want to check out Mugen Power’s latest offering. The specialist third-party provider of smartphone extended batteries, has announced a 3000mAh ‘Power Case‘ for the Xperia Z. Traditionally Mugen Power would provide a replaceable battery with larger back cover if needed. However, as the Xperia Z has a sealed enclosure this wasn’t possible. Therefore, judging by the picture it looks like the jacket provides power through the dock pins. Whilst the case takes away some of the clean lines of the handset it may be useful for those who do a lot of travelling. The battery ships on 12 July at a cost of $89.50 with free shipping worldwide.

I am thinking to order this one, need expert opinion on this power case!
Thanks.
Yeah me too, was hoping mugen or mophie would come out with a battery case, as they're reliable brands with a proven track record. I really considered getting the power bank but figured I'd wait for something more reliable like this to come along.

is it real anyone try this ?
So the Xperia Z then has a total of 5333mAh battery capacity, so that's a lot.

Im really surprised there are no reviews of the Mugen case online. You'd expect them to ship out review units before the release date.. Anyway not long to wait now before someone gets their hands on them I suppose.
89 bucks... jesus. I think I'm going with the ebay link.

MUGEN battery and ebay battery come from the same place...china
only reason Mugen cost so much because they been in business longer, these battery works but expect your phone to be hot. I have the power bank one and they work OK. I dont like the extra wideness of the phone.
Looks cool. Is that heavy?
This is gonna make the phone more uncomfortable to hold! Makes it too big.

check the other thread i made for the china one.. does nt make it look large at all and to top it its very nice feel and does not really spoil the look of the phone... quite satisfied with the product...
best part just 20 bucks and doesnt make your phone hot at all...
Anyone ordered this?
There's a demo video of this on youtube. Think I'll get this, it looks great and hopefully with a 1 year warranty it won't have the issues that's affected the cheaper chinese battery cases.

In China there are different quality plants that produce different quality devices. At Mugen Power we create our products using components that alone cost around what the other case costs on eBay. We can of course use batteries that long "expired" according to our standards - they will last for 6-7 months and you will have to buy a new one. We cannot really justify this, that is why we produce the batteries that will last 1.5-2 years and, yes, they cost the above mentioned money. Hope I cleared it up a little

Well that may be because it's expensive.. $90 is alot but still it's Mugen. I have seen people prefer to carry 12000mAh charger with them which can charge multiple devices. Rather than battery cases which increase the overall weight and size of device.

Has anyone ordered/received this one yet? I find it hard to believe it will be better than the ZeroLemon 3000 mAh (they are known to make efficient batteries, and they had to compromise on thickness and lack of NFC), but if anyone buys one of these a report would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: These are fake, don't buy them!
Oh hell no.
Chinese battery makers are NOTORIOUS for exaggerating MaH claims. Especially eBay batteries.
Never buy any batteries unless you have seen LOT's of trustworthy looking reviews.
Some mfg's will give themselves positive reviews.

Some American sellers of inexpensive items actually buy in bulk at a discount from Chinese companies and flip the items for a profit in the USA.
I've actually considered doing the same thing.
I do appreciate you sharing though!
Cuz you never know!?!

That makes sense. Sadly he's making loads of money off of unsuspecting people. And it's not even cheap, he's taking full advantage of it.

I just randomly found it and was like hheeellll yeeaaahhh!!! Received it yesterday after paying $36 and after 3 hours and 45 minutes of use I'm at 75% ....I don't see a single bit of difference...
Google "Chinese wholesale phone batteries"
It's easy to buy smartphone batteries at $1-$3 per battery. Resell for $10 on eBay and Amazon.
No wonder eBay on Amazon is littered with battery resellers.

Dang. I was just gonna make a thread about this. Any ways, I've had similar results to above post. Lasted 21 hours before fully dying. I am however constantly connected to wifi both at home and work so 4G is rarely used. Very pleased with my purchase.

I mostly love the fact that I can used the same back plate and cases I already have and am able to get enough juice for a full days use.
EDIT: And the NFC works like a freaking beast just like OEM. The Anker and Hyperion batteries I've bought that were supposedly "NFC" worked 2 times out of 10 and did NOT work through any of my cases. This one works 10/10 scanning my various tags just like the OEM battery does and works through most of my cases. (Not the metal ones of course.)
So would you highly recommend this battery? I've been looking for an extended battery since upgrading from my s3.
