Hi, any Canadians here on Wind Mobile - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Hey there, just about to buy a Galaxy S 4G online. I know the T Mobile Galaxy S works on Wind Mobile. Can anyone tell me if the GS 4G will work on Wind Mobile with 3G. I understand I won't be getting 4G speeds as Wind currently doesn't have 4G. Thanks.

[Q] USA vs. UK

I am moving to the UK in a few weeks. I am currently with T Mobile USA and was wondering if anyone knew how will my devices work over there. I know i will need to get them unlocked but i have a few 4g phones and dont know if they use the same service there. I have the following devices, MyTouch 4g, Samsung Vibrant and Samsung Vibrant 4g, galaxt tablet.
Thanks in advance.
I believe you can call t mobile and let them know youre moving and they will let you know what to do.. If I'm not mistaken the gsm band is different in uk so they csm tell you if your phone if compatible..

'tis 3G, but either way AT&T's HSPA+ is practically the same speeds as their 3G.
Pretty much no difference.
I tried using AT&T just after unlocking my SGS 4G. It doesn't show anything better than a 3G speed. From my experience, no you cannot get 4G on the west coast in AT&T

Sprint Nexus S 4G on Ting

Hey guys, is there anyone around that have heard of Ting? It's a cools mobile provider that works off of the sprint network. I was wondering if there is anyone who has worked with their phones, changing the meid, and all that.
My father has a transform ultra and wants to use that as a doner phone, but I have heard that 3g and 4G don't work. Again, just wondering if anyone has dabbled in this

Help plz. Wind sgh m919v

Hi there..
All of you masters out there. I just jumped from an iphone to s4. And got this S4-SGH M919V from WIND Canada.
I am a newbee to Android. Now I have been searching if there is a way to enable LTE in my S4. I am facing the exact same problem as my friend posted above. I have tried enabling LTE through ×#2263# command. It does show an esterik infront of LTE bands once selected butttttt I cant make calls.
Now I think this is happening because Wind model of S4 which I have does not support the LTE band frequencies...
My question is if there anyway I can flash the modem firmware from T-mobile which apparently has all the LTE bands in it????
Will that enable LTE in my S4??
P.S I have not rooted or done anything yet with the phone. Just got it unlocked through Wind mobile.
Phone details are as folows..
Wind S4.
Device name : SGH M919V
Baseband : M919VVLUAMG1.
I am currently using wind mobile sim card with 4g speed on it.
I really need this LTE enabled. Because when I put a Bell sim in my phone. It connects data with 3g. Its not showing LTE at all. And when I tried forcing LTE with bell sim inserted, the LTE works fine but I lose the calls.
I would greately appreciate any guidence here. Thank you.

Sprint S6 work on Verizon - verified?

According to this site http://www.willmyphonework.net/ , an S6 from Sprint works on 2G, 3G, and 4G Verizon. Can anyone confirm if this is true? I know sprint is CDMA but not sure if this still is true or not.
Anyone?

You might get an answer from someone on the Sprint forum, most people here have a branded Verizon phone.
