You must have tried to flash the firmware of galaxy s i9000 coz gingerbread is not available right now for i9003 ..flash a firmware of i9003 ..firmwares of i9000 wont work on it

You seem to have screwed up your boot loader with the wrong FW. There is no ginger bread (2.3) available yet for I9003. SO if you are not able to see anything on acreen on pressing the unloack button (Not even first logo screen) mostly you have lost your boot loader. If thats true the bad news is you have only option of replacing motherboard at service centre. Find a good reason and act like a noob, may be you can tell them after kies update for latest firmware (for your region), phone did not boot. This has been accepted for many users. Including me.. All the Best...

Its fairly easy honestly...let me see if i can post a link. Oh and have u tried to boot it into recovery urself by turning the phone completely off holding down the volume buttons, camera and power button until it turns on that will put you into recovery mode jst make sure you already have your file saved to you sd card or your gonna have a nice time converting back to stock like i did lastnite lol. Are you familiar with Odin?
You 2 should not be rooting your phones. All phones are different, and neither one of you posted what phone you have.

it failed then , after i turned on my phone its stuck at the phone and computer error screen, i took out the battery and left it for 5 minutes , several times and tried again... phone seems to be stuck on the screen...
help please
is there a way i can flash it to stock , i just want it running doesnt matter if i lose everything
You done something wrong or got a bad rom .
Can you get into download mode via three buttons .
If so flash stock rom via Odin with pit and repartition checked .
Choose your firmware and follow instructions to the letter.

everytime i turn it on, it goes to the little computer and phone screen.
cant get it into download or recovery mode whatsoever =/
cant get it into download or recovery mode whatsoever =/
If you know how to get into recovery mode and it fails then you need the recovery jig .

Darky's rom? i think Darky's rom wasn't available for GT-i9003 yet that's why your phone (temporary)bricked.
I9000 roms will not work on a i9003. The hardware differences are too great.
@ simmmy
Ha Ha!! Flashed that firmware too eagerly, dont you? .
Dude still there is no custom rom fo i9003
Anyway if you tried that darkys rom despite knowing that it wont work, a big thumbs up for you!! Bravo
Don't worry dude, only your pda is wiped off during the flashing process, just reflash with odin, using PDA file of may be xxkb2 only, should do the job. Happened with me once, but getting into down load mode should not be the issue, try three button combo.

[Q] My sgs2 damaged during ICS Flash (please help)

I was flashing my sgs2 from 2.36 to 4.0.
after waiting a lot of time during flash , my system hanged.
and after few minutes I pulled the usb wire out.
Now My phone is showing some mobile phone symbol ,caution sign and computer sign.
I am not able to do anything.
just this thing is coming , what ever I'm trying to do.
not able to re-flash previous version.
Firstly....don't panic its not bricked, I ran into this problem when I lost my IMEI which trust me was a bigger problem than what you are facing but that's a different story
Anyway what I did was to go find yourself a Stock sgs2 gingerbread rom from here on XDA, a search will yield you with the files you need, I went with 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 I think.... then hold the volume button and power to reset the device and remove the battery.
Then boot into download mode and flash stock rom with Odin on your PC and let it do its thing.... then you should have a baseline stock rom once again.
Hope this helps and best of luck.

it's not damaged
Relaxx, there are a million and one ways to recover your phone, and if you're keen enough, you may as well just install android 4.0 all in one go during the SW repair.
Was your phone rooted? were you upgrading officially? or custom ROM?
All in all, relax and you'll have your phone up and running a few XDA-thread reads later.

Bootloop. Please help! RemICS JB

Hi! Today i tried to update the i9003L of my brother's girlfriend. Ive gad RemICS 4.0.4, wiped data and then flashed RemICS JB. But when its mostly complete, the phone goes off and then automatically turned on. I get a bootloop at the animation. I cant even enter to recovery and flash gapps but still can i enter to the download mode. So i've downloaded a 2.3.6 gingerbread (i dont remember the buold but it starts with UB, from argentina my country) and flashed from odin, it says flash and the phone reboots, but i still have the bootloop problem in samsung logo animation. I dont think i ve messed the sd card because when i flashed the stock rom apears a yellow letters saying wiping data and wiping cache, and i didnt have any error (i guess). I cant enter stock recovery because when i press the vol up home and power button the screen fades to black and then reboots. Please help me, tomorrow i will flash cf root to see whats happening and if my sd card isnt f*cked up i will flash RemICS 4.0.4 again. Thats correct or i need to go back froyo? Please help! Sorry my bad english
You should have noticed that i9003L is not same as i9003, they didn't share same firmware if I'm not mistaken as I found different official firmware for both.
Hey? Sorry but its my first time hearing i9003L and googled it. I think its i9003 our phone. Hold volume first, then HOME button, then last the power. If it reboots to recovery, ur just fine.
Found some information about i9003L in Chile Samsung website.
Based on the site, it's called Samsung Galaxy S Latona
The specs are the same but I'm not sure you can directly flash i9003 rom without some modification.
You can try flashing with kpe+pit first if you can enter download mode.
Beware that in our rom, the build prop stated i9003, I'm not sure whether it will cause trouble in your phone.

I9003 use latona. Also googled it, its the same as our device.
Okay, about the fade to black when opening stock recovery,
After holding the power+home+vol up, when the phone boots, you have to release the power button but don't release the two buttons yet until the recovery is opened.

Open the recovery using steps I said just now, wipe data/cache.
Download firmware XXKPE.
Use Odin v1.8x (not odin 4.x), place latona.pit as pit file, tick the check box repartition. place phone in download mode and plug it in. Start the flash.
After it says pass, unplug and remove battery and place the battery back.
Plug it back in download mode,
Put other files of KPE (Phone, Pda, Boot) and flash. The phone reboots itself.
Also using Odin,
place the Gingerbread firmware on PDA, put the phone in download mode, connect to pc and press start. After a while the yellow/green(whatever color it is) square in odin will show "PASS" and the phone reboots itself. You can unplug the phone.
Poof! The phone is now functional.

Hi! Thanks! i fixed the phone (uff...), first i tried to go to stock GB, flashed ok and ODIN sayed "PASS", but i have a bootloop again, so flashed CF-Root and i have the screen fading to black again, but, thanks for the advice, ive pressed Power, Home and volume up, and then stop pressing Power, and then the recovery appears!! Wiped everything and i've flashed the RemICS 4.0.4, rebooted and works! i cant belive the phone is working again!. Thanks for the support.
And yes, the i9003L and i9003 are the same phone, the "L" means it has a diferent modem, but the specs are the same and their roms are also the same. Also The L or Latona is for "Latin America"/Latinoamérica. So thanks again and sorry for my bad english!

Try reflash original HC firmware. For me worked
yep, best bet is to reflash with original HC then format/wipe using default wiper in the recovery menu.
I also tried flashing an official ICS directly to a bootloop stricken device and it works too
Bootloop Problem
hi guys..
My P6800 also experienced this boot loop last week. My firmware is stock ICS non-rooted. I dont want to wipe data while in ICS so I reflashed my tab with stock Honeycomb using Odin. But after flashing, the tab was still stuck at the Samsung logo. I wanted to wipe data in recovery but when I press the Power + Volume Up button, the screen initially goes to the recovery screen for a few seconds and displays:
#MANUAL MODE#
Updating application...
then after a few seconds, the tab will reboot again and will be stuck at the Samsung Logo. I dont know what to do anymore. Im still able to go to the download mode though. (Power + Volume down)
Any suggestions?
Also now im not able to turn off the tab. Its still stuck at the Samsung logo. And when I try to plug and remove the charger, the tab is stuck at the battery symbol.
Help please..
