Hey. I'm new to this forum and I've checked almost entire google for a solution but haven't found one. I just got hold of a SK17i and I'm wondering if anyone knows how I could unlock it. I'm stuck in no service mode. Sometimes I mange to get up the code unlock screen for network use.
Tried using superoneclick to get unlock code but it fails. It also fails and freezes at psneuter when trying to root.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance.
Anyone that knows anything please?
do u try ed to root u r phone??
Hi
All
I have got a very quick question to ask and hope somebody can help me. I have got an Xperia play R800i. I used a program called SuperOneClick to root my phone. After using this program I got superuser access so that means my phone is rooted. But how do i unlock the bootloader.
Because according to the sony erricsson website when i type in that code *#*#7378423#*#* into my phone it says that i can not unlock my bootloader. I dont understand if i have rooted my phone my bootloader should be unlock write. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Also do i need an unlocked bootloader to install CyanogenMod 7 on my phone even if i have rooted it.
Many
Thanks
Mohammed
Anybody Please ?
i updated firmware from 15.0.A.1.31 to 15.0.A.1.36, when i buy this phone.
i tried to root after it, but i even cant do PARTIAL ROOT.
motochopper.zip and xperia_L_ROOT.zip both stuck at "daemon started successfully", backup TA(v9.5) cant detect my device.
debugging mode is on and i can see driver installed properly when i connect my phone to my pc.
i hope there is a method root witout unlock bootloader.
anybody has idea or any pros can help?

P.S. bad English doesn't matter :good:
You will only get partial root access with a locked boot-loader for full root you have to unlock boot-loader
Try other root tools, first totally unroot if you have installed super su remove it and go to Development options and allow mock locations,[I kept it on while rooting and got succeeded. :good:
Please upload a full video of rooting xperia l

there us one app called framaroot... it gives you partial root access (after enough trys) and that will be enough for TA backup. You will do that backup an afterwards unlock the bootloader. Then just flash extended stock kernel or vengeance kernel for root. Sounds easy right? it is if you have a clue about that flashing thing. Just pay attention about drivers and all will be fine

i dont rely on those root checkers, download an app that needs root and make sure it gets granted. also go into the settings of su and make sure the binaries are up to date, they usually are not. after that try the unlock tool again, im betting you have outdated binaries.

I believe the utility dowloads an .apk that you have to open to get the bootloader unlocked. When I unlocked the BL on my M, I just used the stand-alone Motopocalypse tool.

Your screenshot shows that you are not on the latest update, so you should be able to unlock it, unless someone already had previously updated it then rolled back to that version. However, that version is 2 OTAs ago, so I would think it has never been updated. When I ran the stand alone Apocalyse utility, I had to run it about five times. Finally, during the last (and successful) try, I decided to wake up the phone. When I did this, there was a screen from my SuperSU asking to grant SU access to ADB. I granted it and the utility completed immediately and I was finally unlocked. When you run the Motopocalypse utility, you need to be booted into the OS.
What apocalypse utility link you rooted with do you have one. I have no luck with this . I able to wipe the phone install root but can't unlock the boot loader. So I gave up and figure out how to take root out and go back to stock. I give up unless someone else ideal how to do it.
