Let me start off by say how much I love this service as in everytime i am in my car I let the service run. For the first time ever I have gone over the 5GB cap. I have read the forums and read the vibrant mods have been able to "unthrottle". I hear its one of those "it is what it is" kind of things.
Do you guys ever think about switching to SPRINT, just because they have unlimited data?
Or
Now that I been using my music A LOT on the phone I have realized I want a phone with BIG internal memory, sadly the sensation only has 1GB. Does this sway your purchase?
A 16 gb sd card goes a long way. Also, using Audiogalaxy I'm able to stream my entire 300gb music library to my phone. I've tried every cloud service and I keep sticking with Augiogalaxy. Just got my invite to Google Music. I'll try it out, but 5 gb limit doesn't really work for me...
still need my invite to come :\
I have a 32GB card in my phone, and use Google music to stream a good portion of my music to my phone. I am currently in the process of uploading 94GB of music to the cloud now. Google music has a limit of 20,000 songs right now so we'll see where it goes but since it's streaming I can keep my memory card free for other things like videos.

Sorry you have a 5GB cap. I have no such cap. In fact, I am already well past 5GB. There is a 20,000 song limit on my account.

Gotcha. I have unlimited everything so I don't worry about that.
For some reason I really like AudioGalaxy way better. I don't think it's worth going over our 5GIG cap of Tmobile 4G data just for using Google Music. I never reach the cap when using Audio Galaxy, but I imagine since Google Music is using the same idea, PLUS it's syncing with your gmail it'll use more? Anyways I am trying it out so far it's ok I guess my music is mixed up though. Certain albums separate with each song it's kind of annoying. Love the UI though, and the online UI as well. Very neat idea, and for Beta I guess I should wait until they release it fully or update it a bit.

Works, but what's this business about a subscription? Seriously, I'll hang with youtube or dailymotion at the moment. I really don't think I need to be charged for mobile tv considering how much the carriers are taking it out of our asses with regular service and data. Not to mention sucking up my limit for the month and then running me into overages.

when at home or whenever possible .. jump on wifi .. when im at home i watch all kind of live streams on my nexus with wifi and plays smooth as butter ..
whether it be live streams of movies for channelsurf or nfl football, nba, or regular tv shows its all good...
since its over wifi doesn't affect your tmobile or whatever carrier u have data limit
Got it working on mine. It keeps asking for the subscription thing. Theres some decent free stuff on it, but most of it you need a subscription for. Cool app none the less, thanks.
this would just be perfect as someone mentioned before if it could be hacked, so it isn't a trial and is free.
took a little bit of playing around with but now its working great
Wont work on CyanogenMOD6 (Kang-0-rama v1.0)
BOOO!!! no tv app ever work
Well, I got it working on the mytouch 3G slide. The only problem is that the display is a little smaller, so some of it gets cut off. The live TV works just fine, and if I tap the video it centers it full screen... It still cuts a little off at the bottom (or some on the right side if it's not full screen)
Is there a way to shrink that down a bit so it doesn't get cut off?
installed> accepted trial> started watching limited TV on 3G. Its a good start.
i cant see the trial subscription page...am i the only one?

Why is it a problem? She using it too much? Take it away? Tmobile has restrictions you can implement online. Not sure if you can regulate downloads.

ok cool thank you so much
i couldn't find the Samsung forums not for that phone anywhere sorry
She'll still be able to side load apps bypassing the market if she just downloads the apk files. Think she won't figure that out? Lol don't fool yourself. Get her a feature phone if you don't want her installing and using apps. Use prepaid and then she can only use what you've paid for. Why give her a smart phone and then expect her not to play games on it? Seems a bit silly to me.

App locker works wonders. On my kids phone. I block internet, market and all the stuff they don't need.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Giving a kid a smart phone is like giving them a bank card with unlimited access to your bank account. Take away the smart phone, give her a phone which has only the features you want her to use on a pre-pay pay-as-you go account and make sure that it is password locked to prevent unauthorized use if she leaves it lying around at school, etc., or loses it. If you want to give her something portable that plays games, get her a portable game machine which plays the games she wants to play. You can buy them cheaply second-hand with games included because a lot of people have them lying around after they bought smart phones which play games. As well, if she's such a game addict, is she doing her home work, interacting with others, etc., if not, she (and you) have a serious problem.

Any official changelog anywhere? I'm coming from 4.1.512 and don't notice any huge changes.
Using Google Music on my Zenithink C71 7" Chinese tablet produces a lot of "Process has stopped" messages, although music keeps playing no problem with this latest version. On my DesireZ no probs what so ever.
I can concur: Europe (home of truly unlimited data plans) thanks you!

Why do you think Google removed SD card slot in Nexus devices?
I have seen some articles which quoted several Google's explanations (might be merely a rumor) which were basically "we did it for security", "we have been tired of OEMs who rely on the SD card slot and sell their devices with small internal storage." (this one makes no sense...) "we did it for stabilization and performance issue" "we think integrating all contents in one storage is more intuitive since many users cannot determine which files should go where"
I believe they are just a series of lame excuses. I personally think Google mainly did for profit since they are charging $40 for Nexus 7 and $100 for Nexus 10 for storage upgrade which I estimate to cost less than $15 for the company. (this is my estimation based on the fat that 8GB -> 16GB only costs $8.50)
What is your opinion?
Because they want you to use the cloud. Google Music, Google Drive, Gmail, etc. They don't feel they need more space when you have crazy space out in cyberspace.
YEP. The more accounts they can migrate to the web the more they see... the more they see the more data they can sell to advertisers.

I think clouding is a stupid idea personally. Not everyone has internet connections everywhere they go. Even though they do, most people do not have enough mobile data to waste on constantly downloading and uploading to the cloud. I have used Google drive several times in my GS3 and it was a horrible experience. The downloading freezed frequently for no reason and I had to download the stuff over again. Also downloading uploading are super slow, slowr than reading stuff off sd cards of course.

Dropbox. If the 3.25 free gigs of space isn't enough, just set up multiple DB accounts. Upload pics to one, phone backups to another, docs/etc. to a different one for example. Anyway, that's what I've been doing for years now and it's worked out fine besides the signing in and out under different accounts.
•any site offering 5gb or more for free is usually a scam, phishing technique, or some other cyber STD, hack.
Stick to Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.
You're better off using Google Photos which connects to your Google account when you start up the app. You get unlimited storage when you upload your photos in a specific resolution or lower. I forgot the exact resolution. It does everything in the background or when you tell it to and it's completely free.

Not true at all. They're private until you decide to share them. And if you're lucky enough to be a Google Fiber customer you get 1TB of storage.
I use Flickr, works seemlessly for me so far. Default values are private... Creates an Auto Upload album (or something similar). You get 1TB i think for free.
