URGENT - Cant wipe my xoom - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi peeps. ..
Really need someone to help here. I've sold my xoom and need to delete all my info off it. I've tried to do it the the normal way of just wipe data but when it reboots into recovery mode it just says..
Entering Android Recovery Mode
Reading ODM fuse: 1
And thats it, its just stuck there.
Now I bought it second hand and was told it had been rooted and flashed with a kernel that allowed you to alter the CPU.
My question is how do I get rid of my data and get it booting into this recovey mode?
I've installed Rom Manger from the market and tried installing CWM but it just gets stuck again on the dual core screen.
Mine is a UK 3G model.
Any advice, suggestions would be most welcome. It does boot fine into android 3.01.
I need to get this posted out today, hence the wipe.
Thanks,
Steve

Get the UK img files and reflash it back to stock through fastboot.

Grab the stock images here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049485
Extract the images and run these commands:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata

Softbricked Nexus S

Hi, I have unrooted Nexus somehow its not booting up no just shoing google Logo. I can only enter in dast boot mode and bootloader is locked hence can not load a new rom to it. Tried to unlock the loaded but unable to do so. Used most of the tools in the forumn but sill no success. Its still not boots into android
Any help will be appritiated.
Can you enter recovery? Like stock recovery or clockworkmod. You should be able to.
If you have stock recovery navigate to it using bootloader, then to active the menu press both the power button and the volume keys ( sorry I don't know which one). Wipe data and factory reset. Select it. BUT THIS WILL CLEAR ALL DATA.
If you have clockworkmod again boot into it like above and select wipe data factory reset. This will not delete you data.
If you have TWRP you can for the same as clockworkmod. But go to menu "wipe" and select wipe data factory reset.
Hope this helps,
UselessSniper001
Have you tried Wug's Nexus Toolkit? There's an option in the program for this type of thing. It'll flash full stock on your phone but at least it'll be working again, and from there you can flash CWM and root the phone as usual.
It's in the Nexus S Android Development forum, sorry I can't post links yet since I don't have the 10 posts needs.

I am 101% sure that you are missing something while unlocking either the drivers or the fastboot files.
Otherwise nothing can stop you from unlocking. Finally when you unlock, flash the factory image via fastboot and then proceed again towards rooting and customs. :good:
can u please tell me what method you are using to unlock boot loader?
follow these steps:
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem lock

Problems with booting process on my Xoom

Hello
I have a Motorola Xoom from Verizon, and this is the issue.
When I turn on, the tablet it's stuck in M logo screen, I already read almost any information about this issue, but still I can't use my xoom.
I already done this: the bootloader is already unlock
a) Files From MZ600 HRI39
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
b) used RSD method
c) used recovery method too
I had used every method on this forum to recover my Xoom, and nothing seems to work, at this time I don't know what else do.
adb commands doesn't work for me, only with fastboot and RSD is visible my device.
At this time I accept any sugestions, Since apply a factory reset, or install a new Android version

e: can't mount/cache karbonn sparkle v

I was using cm13 sprout 4 and twrp recovery. Was getting error unfortunately ---- apps stopped again again from different apps.
So simply thought of wiping cache and dalvik from twrp . It gave error e: can't mount /cache. So thought of formattig data but by mistake instead of factory reset, i formatted my android. Now i have no os installed just a twrp and unlocked bootloader with me.
now it gives error also E: can't mount/ system also.
pls help, i have only this night to fix it , tight schedule ahead

today i tried these commands in fastboot :
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot reboot
all commands finished successfully but strangely their no change in my device.
then i tried flashing cwm recovery
fastboot flash recovery cwm.img
but when i boot in recovery it was twrp only.
so i think the flash command from fastboot is not working.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash secro secro.img
fastboot flash para para.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash oem oem.img
fastboot flash system system.img

Got a solution!
This is kind of late but I hope this helps other people who have the same issue and are viewing this thread!
Take the battery out of your phone and connect it to your computer. Use SP flash tools and flash the stock rom, using the option, "Format All + Download"
You may have to press a button or button combination to get SPFT to recognize your phone. My phone's volume rockers don't work so I cant help you with that, it was pure luck for me!
Once you let it flash, let the phone boot. It will take some time, longer than usual but it WILL boot. And the bootloader will be locked, so be prepared to start tinkering from scratch!

[Completed] Recovery not available

Hi,
Device is: Asus Zenfone 2, Z008
At some point I managed to brick it. Restored it using xFstk and some fastboot magic.
Now, the big issue is, I cannot boot to recovery.
I can load bootloader (do fastboot commands), chose "Recovery", but it will just boot normal into the OS. Droid with hazard doesn't appear, just normal boot.
Tried (not all at once)
fastboot erase cache
fastboot format cache
installing twrp
flashing stock recovery.img
No joy.
What am I missing?

Hi !
A quick answer has been provided here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71063211&postcount=598
Try this command after placing this recovery img into the adb folder and boot into bootloader
fastboot devices
enter
(check if it is recognised) then
fastboot boot recovery.img
( where recovery.img should be the exact name of your recovery you want to boot into)
Keep an eye on that thread you already have posted , more users may have replied
Good luck !

Fixing broken boot (RMX2030)

I accidentally did "fastboot flash boot recovery.img" when trying to flash the stock recovery and now it just boots into recovery all the time. I was able to reflash TWRP so I can boot into that and I've restored the Boot partition from the backup I made but that didn't help, so I tried restoring the vendor image and system image, which didn't help either. Then I tried restoring the individual backups I made of the dtbo, EFS, modem, persists and recovery+vbmeta but it still boots into TWRP when I try to boot into system.
I hope someone can help me fix this, as I bought it to give to my brother for his birthday in a couple of weeks!
I note that the recovery.img is 65,536KB, which is the same size as my backed up boot.emmc.win but obviously they're not the same thing.
EDIT: OK, panic over! I wiped System and installed the A20 ROM from the ozip and it's working again now. Phew!
May I ask if how did you do that?
I think we almost have the same situation but rather different reason..Please help

Download the last Firmware, this is one for QPST also extracted
"Realme_5i_RMX2030_EX_11_C.79_220121_QPST.zip"
than extract it and open the Terminal and change to Firmware dir with cd "PATH" now you flash the follow Images
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash metadata metadata.img
fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot flash persist persist.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot reboot
now device starts normaly and is up to date, your back on StockROM
