I accidentally did "fastboot flash boot recovery.img" when trying to flash the stock recovery and now it just boots into recovery all the time. I was able to reflash TWRP so I can boot into that and I've restored the Boot partition from the backup I made but that didn't help, so I tried restoring the vendor image and system image, which didn't help either. Then I tried restoring the individual backups I made of the dtbo, EFS, modem, persists and recovery+vbmeta but it still boots into TWRP when I try to boot into system.
I hope someone can help me fix this, as I bought it to give to my brother for his birthday in a couple of weeks!
I note that the recovery.img is 65,536KB, which is the same size as my backed up boot.emmc.win but obviously they're not the same thing.
EDIT: OK, panic over! I wiped System and installed the A20 ROM from the ozip and it's working again now. Phew!
May I ask if how did you do that?
I think we almost have the same situation but rather different reason..Please help

Hi peeps. ..
Really need someone to help here. I've sold my xoom and need to delete all my info off it. I've tried to do it the the normal way of just wipe data but when it reboots into recovery mode it just says..
Entering Android Recovery Mode
Reading ODM fuse: 1
And thats it, its just stuck there.
Now I bought it second hand and was told it had been rooted and flashed with a kernel that allowed you to alter the CPU.
My question is how do I get rid of my data and get it booting into this recovey mode?
I've installed Rom Manger from the market and tried installing CWM but it just gets stuck again on the dual core screen.
Mine is a UK 3G model.
Any advice, suggestions would be most welcome. It does boot fine into android 3.01.
I need to get this posted out today, hence the wipe.
Thanks,
Steve
Get the UK img files and reflash it back to stock through fastboot.
Grab the stock images here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049485
Extract the images and run these commands:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
I was using MultiRom v29 with main CM11 last night build and then I copy my main to secondary rom. And flash development CM 12 on my Oneplus One. But when I booted it all data was wiped. First I wiped factory reset (not internal storage) And then flashed cm-12-20141112-UNOFFICIAL-bacon.zip and then gapps , supersu.zip, ak kernel and then flash by fastboot this commands
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash persist persist.img
fastboot reboot
I didnt used fastboot -w for wipe. When I booted all data was gone. What should I do now? I tried some PC software to recover but didnt find anything. I lost all my photos and saved games. Now when I connect OPO to PC it show as 55 GB Free . Can anyone help me please? Sorry for my bad english.

Hi! I have a problem with the phone, it only work when boot in fastboot with this:
fastboot -i 0x1bbb boot boot.img
When turn on the Idol, start with the Recovery. I try:
-restore boot, system and data backup. At the end, reboot system, and TWRP again. (I use the first Unj. Dev. Recvery).
-fastbooot -i 0x1bbb flash boot.img, and proces ok, when reboot the Idol, TWRP again.
-Mobile Upgrade 4.9.2. not work, say me that I have the latest version software. And restart the Idol, with TWRP.
Any new idea?
Thanks.
how does this happen? didnt you flash accidentaly twrp to boot partition? you can try my DCZ rom. If the device boot then you can use mobile upgrade q to get to stock.
I booted a recovery stock, and begin the problem.
Later try your Rom.
Thanks.
Finally can flash boot.img with petrov recovery.
Now my problem is that I have a system.img stock backup, I try flash it with fastboot command, the process finish ok, but then not are flashed the backup. But the partition system are wiped. Not write the image.
Any idea please??
Thanks
how you made the system.img backup and what commands do you use to put it back?
Hello @DallasCZ, the system.img is done with linux system. An user pass me the system.img and another user restore correctly and works.
In Spain are a 10_08 update (for Amena and Orange users), and only can update with restore stock.
For flash, I use:
adb devices
fastboot reboot bootloader
fastboot -i 0x1bbb flash system system.img
and finally, when process are finished
fastboot -i 0x1bbb reboot
When finished, the system stays in Alcatel logo, and not boot. I open TWRP and the partition system are deleted.
I try the Mobile Upgrade, without system partition, but not work, say that have latest system firmware at 20%.
Thanks

have you waited long enough? the first boot could take time (2-10minutes)
I try wait more minutes later.
When I flash system.img, and the process finish, the Idol have to reboot only?
Or have I write the fastboot reboot command?
Thanks
Hi, I need your help....
Where can I find ROM with system.img, boot.img, userdata.img etc ?
for some reasons, mainly because i'm a dumb, i erased the entire partition of the OPO64.
Now, the only things I can do is to boot into :
- Fastboot Mode
- TWRP (that I installed just before doing silly things, like wiping everything out...)
I am wondering how to reinstall any OS on my phone, LineageOS or RR or anything else to get this phone working again. As there is no physical SDcard slot, I can't put a ROM on it to flash it from TWRP.
the only ROM I've found is CM13.x found here : https://www.androidsage.com/2016/08...anogen-os-13-1-2-znh2kas3p0-update-cm-13-1-2/
is it possible to get some other ROM with all the .img files ?
adb commands do not work.
The only thing I ca do is using fasboot commands.
As far as I understood, I could use there commands :
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
BUT : when I unzip all the ROMs I've found so far, there is always a boot.img file (and the fastboot flash boot boot.img works), but there is no other IMG file in the ZIP. No system.img, no userdata.img etc
Where can I download a ROM providing these files ?
is it mandatory to flask recovery.img ? I still want to use TWRP
Many many thanks
