Ive read almost every thread i possibly could to find an answer and i cant. I was stupid and impulsive and i used one-click to root my wifi xoom, well it worked all the way up until it got stuck at dual core.
I can reboot into fastboot or just reboot using power and volume up but i never get past the dual core screen. Up until yesterday i couldnt figure out how to do anything but now ive got all the files in the right folders and i can flash the boot.img then i get to fastboot reboot. But then when i type adb shell it tells me device not recognized. Ive installed the drivers and the sdk manager but one thing that gets me is that my device is never recognized by AVD.
i tried adb killserver but i dont know exactly what to do after that
All help is extremely appreciated, and after reading for 3 days straight on this board i know that any and all help will most likely solve my problem.
I'm so excited to hear your replies so i can get my xoom up and running again!

I have read and searched but cannot find a solution so kinfd of find posting is the only way.
I have been watching here a while and used this forum to hard spl my wifes htc hd2.
I just got an unlocked vodaphone magic, a 32b, 1.33.0004.
I am following the wiki to root it using method 2 but I cant seem to get the adb driver installed as when typing adb devices I get an empty list. I have looked for usb driver issues and tried them to no avail. I have tried on my 64bit win7 pc and now my wifes 32 bit win 7 with same results.
Can someone help me out as just wanna get rid of all the voda branding and have something more vanilla android.
Cheers
Simon.
simon go on unlckr.com and follow the gold card method exactly i had the same specs and same problem, but it works now
www.theunlockr.com
not unlckr.com just figured you might want the right address if you didnt know
Thanks both will go look now. Its doing my head in. I have adroid composite adb device showing in device manager now but still adb devices show an empty list, but fastboot shows the device.
Adb device id shows if I do the same command while the magic is turned on normally but nothing in fastboot. Very strange so I will go try the method you link to, just hope I dont brick it
Unfortunately I do not have a spare 2gig mcro sd, just the 1 gig in the phone. I am waiting for an 8gig to arrive next week.
Still dont get why the adb devices lists the magic while turned on normally but not in fastboot mode? Just empty list. Been trying since lunch today with this driver for adb and getting it to see it. Gonna go against the wall soon lol.
Nope. Tried every way possible to get adb to see the phone but still empty device list. It says adb is installed in device manager and it lists fastboot devices and shows adb device when phone on normally but not in fastboot so stuck.
Spent about 6 hours lol just trying to get adb installed so not got any further. Shame as the phone is a bit crippled when you cant install progs to the mem card really especially with such a small internal memory.
you wont get abd to work without rooting. Wait for the other 8GB memory and do the goldcard method as described.
after that get in fastboot mode, and test exacly as unlocker.com you'll be fine. i also followed their video
Of course adb works without root!
You problem might be that the Windows actually uses different drivers when the phone is awake, in recovery or in fastboot and you have not set up the right drivers for fastboot!
connect your phone to USB, boot it into fastboot and find it in device manager, from there update the driver...
DESPERATE FOR HELP!
I bought a LG G2 D802 after deciding that ~ thats the phone i needed and after i bought it of course it had the 4.4.2 when i really wanted the 4.2.2
The reception was horrible too in low signal zones i had 90% of time no signal so after studying a little i decided i would Root it & install a new Rom possibly a Tmobile Version so i could fix my reception with Wifi-calling. Rooting was straight forward and no problems but Twrp was horrible i tried different ways and i couldnt install a recovery that worked or opened. Before i started playing with Twrp i made a Back up of the stock just in case.
AS it was BOUND to happen ~ flash errors occurred when i installed autorec.apk and rebooted. After that all i get is:
Fastboot mode started
udc_start()
and when im connected by USB
-reset-
-portcharge-
fastboot: proccessing commands
Pretty popular on the forum. So i tried to keep my cool and went through all same cases> I tried to get Recovery ( never installed right so ) tried to fix it by a method someone shared on the forum ~ didnt work Fastboot would flash the new recovery but once i went through the reboot and factory settings would go back to same black screen with fastboot mode started. To make things worse my download mode pops out and stays half a sec before it goes to same Awful screen. Tried to fix download with Laf file ~ fastboot erase and flash new one for my version as suggested by another member who unbriked his LG G2 didnt work ~ same issue.
ADB doesnt recognize the device. I have installed all device software in the beginning when i was rooting and trying to install Twrp. its an LG G2 with no SD slot and not a removable battery. Im losing all hope i dont know what to do anymore. If you guys can help me would be a life saver im close to smashing it to pieces and go back to my old Blackberry~...~

I dont know! I can Erase and Flash .img files into the phone ~ by using CMD and the SDK but i dont seem to be able to flash a system.img the one i have is 3gb and says error allocating memory. I dont see my device on adb ~ and fastboot shows ? Fastboot as device. I went and installed Ubuntu into a Virtual drive to try to push files into phone so i could access download mode or recovery. No luck there i couldnt find the phone under devices either.
When i use CMD on the PC and flash recovery recovery.img or any other image command the phone displays the work being done. So i think i am connected to Fastboot.
Hello, first post on this forum, so yeah ^^ I am also kinda new to this. I have a gs3 which is rooted and all, but that is old, and methods has changed...
So i tried to root my shield tablet and it got stuck in a boot loop. I can not get it into the bootloader using adb tools, or fastboot, or atleast i knot know how to. I have ran the: adb reboot bootloader, without success. I have also tried the: adb devices command and i dont see my device there. I have installed mini adb drivers.
This happend when using this tool(windroid): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2499926
So im thinking that if there is a way to get out of this, that would be great. I really hope i have not bricked it... all i wanted to to was to get root so that i could connect a ps3 controller... :/
I tried to use the windroid program but the recovery did not install. so i did it manually following this tut http://forum.xda-developers.com/shi...t-root-nvidia-shield-tablet-lollipop-t2972316
im am not complaining or anything, purly looking for help.
So, after trying i got it up and running. i did not flash any supersu.zip files, just installed it from the market. wen it asked me to reboot the device ended up like this. I am aware of the disclaimers and stuff. If i go to device manager on my computer i can se: SHIELD Tablet, with a yellow triangle. I also searched youtube and this forum to look for posts, but found none that could help.

I fixed it by following this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/shield-tablet/help/help-stuck-nvidia-boot-screen-t3076462
hi hope this is the right place to post this. But i rooted my rca voyager thru kingroot but it failed i woke up after the next day and it was bootlooping on the charger. I figure this isnt a good sign. Im hoping there is hope for it. I tried doing a hard reset but it didnt work. also i tried looking through guides and forums since i dont no much about this im at a stand still. Also my tablet never been plugged into the computer so it doesnt have drivers on it. and because of boot loop when i plug in the drivers fail due to boot loop. I tried to get abd and fastboot and also sdk manager. Sdk manager im having hard time getting to work on my computer even when i have jre and jdk in stalled. i was wondering if there is really any hope i can get my tablet working. also if theres anything someone can suggest i tried looking at guides but ones i try arnt working. I just want into recovery even if i have to flash one on to get to work. Im assuming there is hope since the kingo root failed. :s any help i really appreciate it thanks
Hello,
duplicate of this:
Rca Voyager tab stuck in boot loop
Thread closed.
Apologies if something similar has already been posted on here already. I have had a look, but can't seem to find anything.
I was trying to root my oneplus one this evening, and was following a very useful link here....
https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/like-a-boss-how-to-root-your-oneplus-one.58493/
....and got to the bit that says "sudo fastboot oem unlock" - waited a minute, and the phone rebooted showing the android and 1+ logo. But before anything else happens it turns itself off, then back on again. And continues to do this indefinitely. I can get it into fastboot mode, but not recovery. When it is in fastboot mode the pc doesn't recognise it. Something obviously isn't right, but I'm not sure what. I'm guessing something is possibly corrupt.
What I think I need to do is firstly, get the pc to recognise the phone somehow. Secondly, install a recovery on to it and thirdly, flash a rom. I've been scratching my head all night trying to work out how to get the phone recognised, and Googling like a teenager who's just discovered porn is available on the Internet.
Is there anybody out there who is familiar with Linux who can possibly walk me through what I need to get my phone working again?
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for any help that may be offered.
