Hey guys the motorola xoom has 1 gb 'ddr2' ram whereas the acer iconia and the other tabs released after xoom have 1gb 'ddr3' ram.....so does it make a huge difference..
And someone could please tell me does the xoom has a FULL hd screen...and is the hdmi mirroring also FULL hd??

800x480 games work great on my Arc 854x480 screen, it will work on the sensation but with a frame to cover lost space or simply zoomed.
As for wallpapers, Zedge is pretty fast to launch new resolutions.
But hey isn't the Moto Atrix already using this new resolution?
Had ny Asus less than a month now. its great mostly but browser keeps force closing. I can send it in for exchange . Should I get another Asus or get the xoom?

asus eee pad transformer is a better device in almost every respect than the xoom.
if those are your only two options, replace it. i personally think there are better tabs out there, but the eee pad is great

I think ill exchange it for a laptop . I do love the size and all, but I do alot of work online I think a laptop is a better choice for me. For quick things I can always use my sensation.

the thrive is one of my favorite honeycomb 10" tabs. Battery/bulk may be disadvantages, but toshiba's software is wonderful and the full USB and HDMI ports are great.
If you can exchange it for an Iconia A500/A501, that would be your best shot! Same CPU, same Tegra 2 video, 32 GB internal memory, GPS, BT, WiFi, 3G (for the A501), long battery life ~ 10-11 hours browsing, micro HDMI port, micro USB port AND my personal favorite - regular size USB, so you can plug any USB keyboard (wired or cordless) and benefit from both worlds - tablets and laptops.

What processor should I get if I want my tablet to play most of Full HD movies out there, in any codecs? How come a FHD video file can be played flawlessly on a PC with dualcore processor, but cant on a tablet?

I can play 1080p 3D video fine on my mk802 which has a single core arm cpu running at 912 mhz using ice cream sandwich.
Maybe better option would be to give an idea of how much you can spend and what sort of uses you want from a tablet (eg gaming) and then people could recommend the best featured tablets that suit your budget?

A good audio output and screen with 200+ pixel density
Checking email, facebook, read news etc.,
Video Chatting with my family.
Game and other apps (no need for hardware-killer games)
Price as low as possible, of course

1 ghz dual core...
512 mb ram
Power vr gpu
It is fully able to play other hd games flawlessly... like front line commando... blood and glory... and other...
But i have asphalt 6 hd setup... i installed launcher and have data connection for download additional files...
But after checking it shows that my device is incompatible... and refund...
I want to play gameloft games...
Any solution ???

Issue with Micromax and others like Karbonn have issue of bloatware .
Root and getinto better memory management .
And very important get a proper device with 1GB RAM if possible

I have just picked up a second LG Optimus Cube cos I love it's 3D so much. 16G internal storage, 1.2GHz CPU and 1G RAM, NFC...
Both are on ICS but I can now afford to try a downgrade on one unit back to GB.
I need serious hand holding from someone who has already done it for this phone.
Can you help?

Downgrade to GB? I have both lg su870 and su760
Cube is smoother than its predecessor su760
Pros: I just notice on its latest ics update (v20f) new video player and system player with qslide
Cons: But lags on 720p and 1080p video.
Pros: 3Dvplayer (CHINESE 3D player) smooth playing on .3dv format unlike on v20d it takes time to play a video
v20f can be rooted using vroot
Im on v20d now. Coz all of my 3d movies are in 720p mkv format.
I think there is a possibility to have JB updates on cube by the end of the year
Oops, I meant GB not JB.
The 3D converter for android apps was working nicely on GB, but is less satisfactory on ICS. I can't for example get Angry Birds Rio to show its 3D parallax like when I had GB before and that saddens me.
Far as I can tell, the ICS upgrade breaks the 3D App converter.
also the ICS gallery display of 3D photos is very soft vs what I remember under GB.
Its just these 2 things that annoy me with the ICS
