Just wanted to see if anyone was working on any lock screen mods. I love the stock lockscreen as much as anyone, but coming from the vibrant, I just happened to like the glass lockscreen (and then the honeycomb mod right before the g2x released).

Have you tried WidgetLocker? Lot's of customization....might suit your needs.
I just want a modified lock screen with the emergency call button removed.

ok so ive dowloaded a few "launcher 2" apks floating around and i decided that i really want the REAL one... i want it to look exactly like the one seen on the nexus one... INCULDING THE SCROLLING!! i have one right now that looks exactly like it but the scroll animations arent the same. on the one i have, as soon as the app icon hits the bottom or top of the screen it dissapears completely... and it always has to kind of lock into position... i want the one with the smooth scrolling and the apps kinda roll onto the screen... can anyone help or at least agree with me? cuz i havent seen any complaints about this and to me its a little annoying... thanks all who can help
i think the clockwork mod launcher in the markret is like what i want but it only works on stock 2.1 roms and im on the Ic3 rom btw...
You'll never get the "real" launcher. What you see is what you get. Either deal with it or make your own...Helix launcher is about as close as it gets...Its limited due to hardware.
i'm using eagles blood 1.0.3 gingerbread tried Screen Off and Lock but when I click on power button to lock screen it doesn't do the old CRT TV shutting off animation. i have to swipe down from notification bar and use it manually.
anyone got one working that does animation automatically after screen locks on its own?
None of the ROMs support it as of now

Can we use the one from the Vibrant ROM 'Asgard'?
no it is apart of the Gingerbread rom... it isn't something you can just install (but I'm not putting it past the dev's here at XDA). Specifically I think the kernel requires this functionality.
The official Gingerbread build should come with an updated Gingerbread kernel which hopefully includes this. I don't see why not.
It is a stupid little gimmick anyway but regardless we'll get it some way some how eventually.
As long as there's a way to disable it I'll be happy.

yeah, its as simple as changing 1 word from true to false.
however, it's a little buggy. right now, it does it once, then sleep of death.
Does anyone know a way to get the original captivate lockscreen on a custom rom? Or know any roms that contain it?
This was the glass lockscreen with puzzle pieces that take you directly to a missed call or sms. (different from the regular puzzle lockscreen many roms currently have, that are puzzle even with no missed activity)
allllllot of roms have it as an option im prettey sure cm7 has it but not 100% and if your confident with bootloaders and going to gingerbread subpression and simply sgs2 both have 9 lockscreen options including the glass and puzzle locks

It doesn't. Along with a laundry list of other things.
I also have been looking for this to add back to my custom ROM. I am on cognition and the glass screen provides no puzzle piece link to missed calls or texts. I like the puzzle lock on this rom though.
I was previously on Continuum v4 and v4.1 and that rom DOES have the original samsung glass lock screen. Overall though, I prefer cognition so I can live with the puzzle lock which does do the links to calls or texts.

Look for a rom that has it. Most Tom's with multi lock screens have it as an options except for CM Tom's which will never have it as it is a touchwiz feature
Andromeda 3 has it and several others.

Hi, just flashed a MIUI rom and am loving the amount of customization you get.
I was wondering if there was a lock screen with the Glass Pannel where you just Swipe it anywhere to unlock i have been looking around for a while and have used a few but i would really like to try that one?

We are looking for the AOSP lockscreen only to inject on our current ROM. Not ALL.
