I have a Sprint Galaxy Tab & trying to set up wifi tethering
I follow the instuction from the other thread and trying to replace the WPA_Supplicant file. The system just having problem to save it even they confirm the file will be re-written. I also tried to delete the orginal file but it will automatically restore couple seconds later
Any thought?

Hey, I'm really new to the android scene, just got my galaxy s2 yesterday I've flashed the litening ROM which says that it roots it, so im assuming my phones rooted. I wanted to put in a MOD which turns off the camera noise and it says you need to go to /data and create a file. How do I access the root files from the PC because with the two file managers i've used on the phone dont have options to create files, help will be VERY highly appreciated!! Sorry if people have posted this before, but i looked and its very complicated for me :S
you can use android commander to access root files on pc , but i have a proplem with it when i copy or paste any file in the root it tells me access denied and you can use super manager on your galaxy .

I had been trying to get adhoc connections working on my new phone but now when i turn on wifi it shuts off automatically in few seconds. I have changed the wpa_supplicant file with the provided in the forum but by mistake forgot to make backup of original file.
Please provide the original file. I would be very grateful to you

i can transfer file from my device (micromax bolt a27) to pc
by create ftp server by es file explorer.. and create hot spot....join my laptop to my hotspot connection
and open browser and type ftp in url .. i get the files....
but i cant transfer files from mobile phone to another phone......
wifi direct not supported in my android version ..it support abve 4.0
pls help meeeee

Use Es File Explorer, it's not only an explorer.
Not sure, but with an had hoc bridge? If supported of course.

Get the BUMP app. It will go for WiFi transfer if the devices are on the same network.
So heres the deal, every time I download a rom file it goes to internal sd/card0. As it would seem twrp doesn't recognize this folder and I can't figure out how to get the file where it needs to be in order to flash it. Details are as follows...

stock rom
Perseus kernel
No other mods other than the apps such as Titanium backup and such.
I've also tried to download the file on my laptop and copy to phone but it won't allow it. I have the correct drivers and it starts to copy and then says it can't send apk file and on and on...
