I had been trying to get adhoc connections working on my new phone but now when i turn on wifi it shuts off automatically in few seconds. I have changed the wpa_supplicant file with the provided in the forum but by mistake forgot to make backup of original file.
Please provide the original file. I would be very grateful to you

I follow the instuction from the other thread and trying to replace the WPA_Supplicant file. The system just having problem to save it even they confirm the file will be re-written. I also tried to delete the orginal file but it will automatically restore couple seconds later
Any thought?

I'm trying to connect my phone to an Ad-Hoc network following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=828340 but I can't seem to locate the "wpa_supplicant.conf" file in data/misc/wif/. I have located it in /system/bin but it doesn't seem right at all... However it may because i downloaded and replaced that file with the one I found on this guide: http://sardarmobile.blogspot.com/2011/03/fix-connect-samsung-galaxy-s-to-ad-hoc.html
What I think I might need is the original wpa_supplicant.conf file.. I remember backing it up... just don't recall where I put it... I know its against forum rules to ask for it so I won't ask, but will flashing KD1 restore that file to the original?
please is there anyway i can share my laptop's internet connection with my phone(Samsung galaxy s) i use a modem to browse. i will be so grateful if some1 can help out

You need to root your phone to do this
Creat a Ad-hoc network on your computer (WEP)
Download wpa_supplicant for Samsung Galaxy S
Download Root Explorer App for Android
Transfter both files to Samsung Galaxy S
Install Root Explorer App
Open Root Explorer and go to /sdcard folder
Copy wpa_supplicant file to /system/bin folder (pleas don’t forgot to backup your orignal wpa_supplicant file)
Connect to Your Network
thanks so much, it seems this is gonna work...........recently am not rooted i guess cos i did a factory reset as i wanna upgrade 2 froyo but am seriously having problems upgrading with kies as am running windows 7.........d upgrade starts and never ends at all..........so am trying to see if i can do it with another laptop.........will inform u when am thru...........thanks again

hello everybody i going to tell you how to fix wifi issues in moto g.
my problem is that the wifi turns on but in a second turns off automatically this problem comes accompanied of mac address not available...

Second: copy to this address (with root explorer or similar app) root/persist/
the file copied like this: (see in attachments)
Third: restart the phone and enjoy the wifi
NOTE: you need to copy this file after flash any rom or firmware, or wifi doesn't works
Bluetooth share stopsin my samsung gts5303 when i am trying to send any file to another device it is working fine before 1 or 2 days but today when i tried to send a file to my friend then my phone shows a message bluetooth share stops my friend has got message to accept the incomming file request but when he clicked on accept my phone show bluetooth share stopped.I think i have deleted any of bluetooth file in system or in any other folder now i m requesting to those who have samsung Gts5303 to please upload here all bluetooth files in your system/app or lib or any other folder which contains bluettoth run files thansa a lot.Please help me so that i can help you when you have any problem...
