The only way to achieve that is by flashing a 7008 ROM. You can find some in the appropriate forums (in your case Mozart of course).

count your blessings that you have a phone with ROMs and flash that shiot...
this is a good reason to save your backup restore files everytime you update.
I have my 7008, and two 7390's saved

can someone can post his own 7003 backup

Hi
i have samsung focus 7039 dev-locked.
i was thinking maybe some of you can post his own backup before the NoDo update so i can go back to 7003, and then dev-unlock my phone with Zune.
unfortently i got the phone already with nodo, so i dont have the 7003 backup!
you guys think it is possible?
let me know plaese!
7003 is the developer phone OS version. going there would be a bad idea, as there is currrently no way to upgrade.
7004 is the OS verion that was pre-nodo stock.
7008 is the pre-nodo update
I don't think you can use a backup from another phone.

My understanding is that you have to flash an old rom you can find here for your device and then use the Chevron unlock method and follow the steps to upgrading to 7392 by preventing relock etc.

[Q] Help! How to rollback to 7392 after updated to mango build 7661

I upgraded my HTC 7 Trophy to mango build 7661 but I forgot to create a backup, how can I rollback to 7392 or older retail version? Many thanks!

When you updated to Mango, the provisioning tool automatically created a backup for you. Use Zune to do the rollback.
Haha, thank! I use HTC official RUU package rollback my phone to 7004, then update it in Zune to 7008 then 7392.

Sure, that'll work as well. But this way you will have to setup the device from scratch again. Like downloading and installing all your apps, resync your email accounts and so on. Doing a rollback from the last created backup would mean you'll get your device back right in the state it had before you performed the update process.
What?! I found I cannot update from 7008 to 7392, error 80180048. What happened?

[Q] Mango to NoDo People

Ok, so I just wanted to know why some people want to go back to NoDo. I understand Mango 7661 is still in 2nd beta but I don't see any problems on my phone. Therefore in my case I'll restore back to NoDo and upgrade to retail mango as soon as it releases, but for the meantime mango beta will be my primary os.
So, does your primary phone have: Mango 7661, NoDo 7392, Mango 7661 > NoDo?

yes.....
jk
Had mango, returned to nodo for the unlock and my side loaded apps. If I gather the courage and time, I might go back up to the mango beta and try the GPRS unlock on my focus.

You are currently out of luck. There aren't any ROMs available, yet, for the DVP.
The only options for restoring back to nodo are:
1. using your own backup files (each phones backup is locked to only that phone and it's encrypted, another phones backup files will not work)
2. Flashing a ROM. ROMs for your device and instructions for flashing said ROMs can be found in the device specific forum here on XDA.
So, if you didn't save your own backup files, and your phone doesn't have ROMs available for flashing, there is currently no way to restore your phone to nodo and supposedly when MANGO is officially released, you will not be able to update. You are stuck in mango beta forever... or until a ROM for your device surfaces (this is likely to eventually happen) or a fix is created (don't hold your breath)

Just quick question because You have 7661... does the username with spaces in it works on 7661?
create an exchange account, try to digit space char into the textbox...
in beta1 it did not work
thank you!

HD7 - Installing Custom ROM for InterOp Unlock and updating to locked BackUp

Hi all,
So I'm a noob to the WP7 Hacking Scene. I own a HTC HD7 so I personally think if I'm a power user I should be able to do as I please to my phone as I would with Windows (but that's a whole separate topic!). So I'm trying to backup my text messages but I'm running the latest HTC firmware so I obviously can't interop unlock my device. I was wondering if it would be possible to backup my device with WP7EasyBackup or the like, flash my device with a custom ROM that is interop-unlocked, and then somehow upgrade or cab upgrade to the back I originally made. This way I could then install SMSBackup and backup my SMS data and such.
Any help & info is greatly appreciated!!!!
Sorry but...
wp backup, is your solution and only works with customs...
So what would happen if I were to attempt the mentioned plan ? Would the custom ROM fail to load the backup or would it relock the device? I was reading about a tool that prevents the relock when you apply an update to it...
Forget the updates, install Deepshining or Dynamics and forget those pesky updates, you'll be fine with your UNLOCKED phone.
