can someone can post his own 7003 backup - Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
i have samsung focus 7039 dev-locked.
i was thinking maybe some of you can post his own backup before the NoDo update so i can go back to 7003, and then dev-unlock my phone with Zune.
unfortently i got the phone already with nodo, so i dont have the 7003 backup!
you guys think it is possible?
let me know plaese!

7003 is the developer phone OS version. going there would be a bad idea, as there is currrently no way to upgrade.
7004 is the OS verion that was pre-nodo stock.
7008 is the pre-nodo update
I don't think you can use a backup from another phone.

It is because of your OS version, it looks like you allready updated to NoDo, but the Chevron unlock doesn't support/work on that firmware.
You have to wait until there is some other way to unlock, since I don't think it's possible to roll-back a firmware on a HTC. (Correct me if wrong)
It's possible to restore the backup that was made during upgrade, if your device didn't come with NoDo from the start. That backup will return your phone to pre-NoDo.

The only way to achieve that is by flashing a 7008 ROM. You can find some in the appropriate forums (in your case Mozart of course).
count your blessings that you have a phone with ROMs and flash that shiot...
this is a good reason to save your backup restore files everytime you update.
I have my 7008, and two 7390's saved

[Q] Please i need help in downdating my Omnia 7 with NoDo 7392 update back to 7004

Hello!
I'm new on this forum and I've looked everywhere for this thread and I couldn't had found it.
When I got my phone(SAMSUNG OMNIA 7- i8700) i updated the latest update(NoDo, version 7.0.7392.0) and realized that i can't unlock my phone.
Now i have a question, how can i downdate/downgrade/flash my phone back to original OS version, so i can unlock it????
P.S. if someone has the time to write this procedure step by step, because I don't want to end up with a bricked phone.
And I've got one more question, are they going to jailbreak NoDo 7392, without having to flash ROM back???

[Q] Mango to NoDo People

Ok, so I just wanted to know why some people want to go back to NoDo. I understand Mango 7661 is still in 2nd beta but I don't see any problems on my phone. Therefore in my case I'll restore back to NoDo and upgrade to retail mango as soon as it releases, but for the meantime mango beta will be my primary os.
So, does your primary phone have: Mango 7661, NoDo 7392, Mango 7661 > NoDo?

yes.....
jk
Had mango, returned to nodo for the unlock and my side loaded apps. If I gather the courage and time, I might go back up to the mango beta and try the GPRS unlock on my focus.

You are currently out of luck. There aren't any ROMs available, yet, for the DVP.
The only options for restoring back to nodo are:
1. using your own backup files (each phones backup is locked to only that phone and it's encrypted, another phones backup files will not work)
2. Flashing a ROM. ROMs for your device and instructions for flashing said ROMs can be found in the device specific forum here on XDA.
So, if you didn't save your own backup files, and your phone doesn't have ROMs available for flashing, there is currently no way to restore your phone to nodo and supposedly when MANGO is officially released, you will not be able to update. You are stuck in mango beta forever... or until a ROM for your device surfaces (this is likely to eventually happen) or a fix is created (don't hold your breath)

Just quick question because You have 7661... does the username with spaces in it works on 7661?
create an exchange account, try to digit space char into the textbox...
in beta1 it did not work
thank you!

Any Way to Roll-Back to 7740 or 7720 from 8107 if I didn't Back-up First?!!

I installed the Mango 8107 update on my Samsung Focus S phone, using Heathcliff74's CAB's method, but I forgot to back-up my phone first. Now, I'm trying to install some themes that voluptuary posted, but they won't install unless I'm on 7740 or lower, and my only restore point/back-up is from today, with 8107 ALREADY installed!
Is there any way for me to revert my AT&T Focus S back to 7740 or 7720 WITHOUT having my back-up?!!
Thanks,
Dennis
I had the same issue a couple days back. I had 8107 and wanted 7720 to interop unlock it. Problem was I had no backup what so ever.
So what I did is I went to the phone specific forums and looked around for a Custom ROM (in my case) but originally I wanted to put a shipped 7720 ROM on there to interop unlock and update though Zune. Also looked for a tutorial on there.
In your case it should be in "Samsung Focus (S)" --> "Focus Windows Phone 7 Development".
As people in my question (nearly entirely the same as yours) answered it is only possible to revert back to an older version (if you dont have a backup) if you flash a shipped 7720 ROM.
(people in the phone specific forum will help you further im sure!)
Good luck
Yea, with out a custom rom, OEM rom or a backup your SOL. Sad to say...

For your (@ OP) case I would just recomment a shipped ROM (7740 or 7720) as this requires you to downgrade your bootloader just once.
If you want a custom ROM you need to perform a lot more actions (aka downgrading the bootloader way further) before you can install that, takes more time and is more risky (not saying "a lot" more but speaks for itself)
