I don't have any Apple products or use iTunes myself but I highly doubt that you'll be able to perform a direct sync between your TF and your iPod (if that's what you're hoping to achieve) due to Apple's stance on copyrighted material. For example they deliberately disable file sharing on their iDevices via Bluetooth in a bid to combat piracy (e.g. music). Thus I would imagine there's a similar block of sorts in place with iTunes in terms of not being able to transfer stuff directly from iTunes onto a non-Apple product. Unless someone else can post a workaround of some description you might have to take a long-winded route to transfer the same stuff that's on your iPod/iTunes onto your TF.
If however you're asking about software that performs a similar function to iTunes but which is built for the TF, you could try downloading the Asus software from their website and see what it can do. I've never really used it before so I'm not entirely sure what it offers.
The only other thing I can suggest is to simply plug your TF into your computer, which should be detected as a mass storage device as long as you have the correct drivers installed. You can then simply click-and-drag your music from your chosen folder onto the TF's internal memory.
Hope this helps.
[EDIT]: Oh, 100th post .
the ipod music format will not play on the TF. If it is not copy protected (DRM) you can export to cd then load on tf. Now you see why they are so disliked. You bought the song and tbey still want to tell you what you can listen to it on.
I use iSyncr
It's specifically for getting your iTunes stuff, including smart playlists etc. onto an android device, it's two way as well. Works great and is well supported with regular updates.
Can't recall how much it was, but I've not regretted the purchase.
It's not exactly syncing with your iPod but only one step removed.
Cheers.

Thanks
Thanks jonitfcfan and Rumbleweed for ur reply. all I want to do is transfer music from TF to my iPod. I do not need the other way around. so I dont think the question of file format comes
@movingpixels: so can the iSyncr do this job? Just want to confirm before I purchase it. Thanks
Use doubletwist... I think it is free

None of this is true. The iPod music formats are mp3/AAC, both of which play fine on the TF. Even iTunes music store purchases have been DRM-free for years now. You can drag your music onto the TF (or SD or MicroSD). You can also sync your iTunes library to Google Music or Amazon and access them through those sites (or through their associated apps).

MP3 ? I thought that iTunes converted whatever audio you imported into M4A/AAC format before sending it to your iDevice?

I learned long ago never argue with an expert. Try it yourself then decide.

it does that by default but you can change that in the preferences.

So I was wondering if there was a way to stream my pictures and videos from my Mac to my Transformer. I have google music for my music so that isn't really an issue, however I'd like to be able to hook my tablet to any tv and view the pictures on my Mac. I know it's probably easier done over LANwifi but it'd be nice if I could do it anywhere.
I assume once I get my mini hdmi cable it will be easy to hook it up to the TV, but getting the media is where I am stuck.
I use Subsonic (http://www.subsonic.org) to stream all my music and video's to my phone and tablet (or any other device)...
The server can be a mac, you can access your media via the web or via an android, iphone, pc widget/app... there is a lot out there...
It doesn't support image viewing (by default), but there is a mod which enables picture viewing support...
You can take a look at http://media.schattorie.nl, apps are available in the market...
does it cost monthly?
So I just got Plex, seems to work thus far. 4.99 for the app and the server on my mac is a free d/l. Just need to see if it works over 3g now...
I own an Asus Prime TF201 tablet running ICS 4 and its rooted.
I am enjoying Android, however I was wondering if there was any apps to fullfil my needs. Please forgive my long list
Digital Assistant -
I've seen some note taking apps, but was wondering if there is one where i can just write on a widget on the homescreen? I don't want to have to write out a memo, takes too much time.
Also a way of syncing my calender, to do list etc with my PC?
Media Streaming -
I've got PS3 Media Streamer(also tried tVersity) on my PC and uPNP player and Bubble player on my Prime but it cannot detect the media device despite being DLNA compliant. Are there any good apps that will work?
TV Streaming -
Is there any way I can stream TV from my media centre PC to my tablet at all?
Updating -
My apps seem to constantly want to update causing slow down, is there anyway to set apps to update at night or at the push of a button to update them all in one go?
Syncing -
Any good apps to sync various files between my tablet and phone and PC? Like bookmarks etc
Sorry for the long list.
Just picked one of these puppies up and I was wondering what the best way to transfer shows/movies/music that I download across to a WD TV Live Hub wirelessly is?

enable windows share on the WD and browse to it on the tablet using ES File Explorer and dump whatever files you want.
Look up double twist on play store. If you buy the full version you get air twist (stream to xbox360, ps3, apple tv, windows pc), and air sync (wirelessly sync between the 2 and sync itunes playlists). Been using it all month, i actually like it a lot.

Thanks a lot guys. Appreciate it, will try out both options.
Have a try with XBMC, I'm using it with a ftp share and works very well (only some delays with full hd big size movies)

So i have an Asus eeepad transformer tf201 jus chilling and I'm not using it. So I connected it to my extra HDMI port just messing around and I started playing some music on it.. so I thought it would be nice to be able to do all that from my couch since the HDMI cable is like 4 feet long.
So I tried loading my music through XBMC but I have over 10000 songs and it takes a good 7 to 10 seconds to load.. that coupled with the music player section of aeon nox theme is kinda garbage. . Play lists are not easily accessible or easily created for that matter. And I don't want to swap themes for the music.
So would it be possible to be able to have my tablet running so that I could browse music and play it while being controlled from my note. Either by streaming music from my pc or by an so card in the tablet?
Flashing my tablet is not out of the question If needed
