hello all
i am not new to this as i have been flashing my X1 now for a while, but recently i just got myself a HTC MAGIC. i love the magic and all i wanted to no is, what is the difference between the vodafone original rom and the htc original rom for the magic.
i am a vodafone customer but all i can see is that the htc version just unlockes your phone.
also with this i no all xda-dev's do hell of a job doing what they do but what rom would be best out there.

I have rooted my htc magic updated radio with perfect engg SPL to flash custom ROMs. Presently i am using my hero 1.1.3 ROM. But now HTC India has released new ROM update with HTC sense. Can i use this official ROM update with out modifying Radio and perfect engg SPL. Please give instructions.

No offence, but there a loads of threads that would answer your question, please use search first!
However, in answer to your question. The official update will leave you with a perfected SPL that there is currently no way to revert. If your looking for HTC Sense then I highly recommend the cursorsense ROM instead of applying the official update.
Also, I believe the India official update doesn't have the market - another reason not to apply it.

I have been looking for the best performance on my HTC and reading the Threads around this forum for long time and saw the radio versions for ROM's, so i need some help with this!
My ROM Radio version is the original provided from Vodafone UK (3.44.25.27).
Been looking at this:

Found that PT Vodafone is running on ROM Radio 4.49.25.91
So my question is, what will happen is i upgrade to that radio version?
Will i loose any data and programs that i have instaled?

Hello, I have a HTC MOZART Locked on orange Uk
bootloader : 1.24.2250.35
is it possible for me to install a previous rom from orange uk and upgarde to the 1.30 HTC europe version without using the GOLD card Method.
Would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice.
i looked around the forum and a thread suggest using the same rom as the phone currently has to debrand and install the Nodo update, but i couldnt find the rom for this version.

I don't think that will work. The only Orange ROM listed is 1.22 not 1.24 and, from what I've read, the Orange ROM you download needs to be the same as the ROM on your phone.
So, unless anyone knows where we can download the 1.24, then we're stuck...

Well , it seems both you and me have the same issue.
I just got Sensation XE, and it seems is came from UK -> that mean it doesn't support arabic as per HTC Support Center.
I only want a stock ROM that supports Arabic, no Root nothing.
This is the current numbers :
2.3.4
Software Number is 1.73.401.4 with Kernel 2.6.35.13.
