Dears,
I downloaded wonderful and professional dictionaries from:
Mobisystems website
The Dictionaries are as follows:
1. Oxford A-Z of Grammar and Punctuation.
2. Oxford A-Z of English Usage.
3. Collins English Dictionary 30th Anniversary Edition 10th Edition 2009.
4. Collins Thesaurus of the English Language 3rd Edition.
5. McGraw-Hill's Dictionary of American Idioms and Phrasal Verbs.
6. Dorland's Medical Dictionary.
7. Cambridge Academic Content Audio Dictionary 1st Edition.
8. Cambridge Audio Dictionary of American English 2nd Edition.
9. Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary 3rd Edition.
10. Cambridge Audio Advanced Learner's Dictionary 3rd Edition.
However, the problem is that all the above-listed Dictionaries are for 7 days trial only. And need Key to unlock it.
Does anyone know/have a keygen/crack/serial or anything that might help crack these dictionaries?
PS I have HTC HD2 using Android Gingerbread.
Thanks in advance.
Can anyone please help plz?
If you have a link to a similar subject, maybe?
Thanx.
Good morning,

Hello,
I have an English HTC TyTn, as I prefer an English OS. The text input methods (e.g. transcriber) are also English but support additional dictionaries (default one is mywords.dct).
Is this file in the same format as the in-phone dictionary?
Can anyone upload a dictionary file for Dutch input and a file for French input (latter is less important to me)?
Either a custom file (like mywords.dct), or if the format is the same a dictionary file from a Dutch (and French) device.
Thanks!
Jorg

Perfect!
Thanks for those links (esp. the first one). Searches on google always lead me to translation dictionaries.
I have found 2 tools (DictMgr and DictEditor) to edit the onboard dictionaries, so I can easily add the words I need (it adds them automatically too).

Hi
Is there any free dictionary English for WM 6.1?
Pardon me if this has been asked earlier
Regards
hey,
im slightly confused by that, your rom is wwe yes so you could use the built in one for that purpose although a bit inconvenient i guess. If your after a stand alone app then thats a good question to which i dont know..... i'll take a look
I was asking for a stand alone app
How to use the built in one?
Btw I know about Lexisgoo Dictionary but I dont like that
I use MDict (http://www.octopus-studio.com/product.en.htm) and the Wordnet database(12MB) for dictionary lookups.
I also have a Wikipedia database(732MB) for other general information loaded on my storage card.

Thanx mate
Where can I find dictionaries for Mdict (*.mdx)? Mainly a Portuguese Dictionary.
Hi all,
I made an application that I think you will find very useful.
User Dictionary Manager (UDM) allows you to edit/export/import/delete/clean the user dictionary words on your Android phone.
I think this will come in very handy for everybody who has to type alot of text in mails, SMSes, etc.
With the help of the User Dictionary Manager application you can export your defined words and import them on another phone - for example, sharing with friends and colleagues.
The homepage of the User Dictionary Manager (UDM) is http://udm.adrianvintu.com
BR,
Adrian Vintu

For ROOTED phones: you need to make sure that you have the user_dictionary installed and available.
See here the issue

This is great, I've been looking a long time for something like this (Romanian Dic.). Too bad it doesn't work on HTC Sense phones. Maybe in the future. I will keep an eye on this one.
Thanks
hey,
this looks great!
but it's not working on ICS isn't it?

but i want to import into the "German" user dict.

The app should import the words into the current regional setting. So if you change your phone settings to German language and then import, it should work. Please let me know if that fixes your problem.

i'm using liquidsmooth 1.35 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555667), and the ROM doesn't provide other languages than english.
but i'm using german input language, and i can store words manually in there while typing in a textbox and add unknown word to the dictionary.
my idea was to use your app to import a german dictionary into my german user dictionary, since the german system dictionary seems to be empty on this ROM.
article
Hey buddy, I'm doing an article on your new UDM here. I emailed you, but never heard back. If you would like to answer a few questions, either pm me or email me at [email protected]. Thanks. Good work!
Swype compatibility?
Since Swype has its own user dictionary,i think it's not possible for now to import or export words from Swype dictionary, can you please make such thing possible in your next version, or some how contact Swype to make your app as an add on to their keyboard, thnx for the app
Swift keyboard
Does this work with swift keyboard? I don't know, pardon my ignorance, if it has it's own dictionary separate from the system keyboard.
Is this a dream? ThankS!
No updates since March 2010? Darn hope it doesn't get incompatibility errors in later android versions
Brilliant Idea!!!
thanks mate.
Will be back to report on how it works with stock JellyBean on my i9505
not working on samsung n7100 ... 4.3 ... if anyone have any idea on how to edit words in user dictionary n how to import text ... it will be great ... thanks

Anyone interested in HTC smartphone ? Built in WM6.5, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD, etc...
In return need POLISH localization for smartphone (polish language). Actually phone has only english support.

Thanks
Is it the same hTC Ozone that you were trying to translate a couple of months ago?
If so - I can try it.

HTC Ozone is almost fully translated by one person ... I have more phones to translate.
try you're looking for at melgurth or find at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1586293&postcount=73
I have listed a complete set of activities that you need to do for localization at the end of Beginners Guide to Windows Mobile (prepare for cooking). The various task's efforts vary quite much depending on the perfection of adaptation you want to achieve.
Especially the Settings Menu is very hard to translate due to its dependency on the system's generic provisioning handler (and related database entries for menu items).
Post is still OPEN
If anyone is interested in creating just CAB file with translated MUI files and registry entries of WM6.5 to PL POLISH POLSKI just let me know. In return will send smartphone.
I will send You the phone model to translate.
