Try looking again, or try a Google search. I did, and it took two seconds to see an answer, But you may have to... Gulp... read a bit... Next question, why did you settle on xboarders rom? Why not cm7 Nightlies, or weapon, or miui?

Ok OP, you just answered your own question: 2.3.3. Please stop posting stuff that can be easily found by surfing through the dev section for a bit. If you were to open, or maybe even look at (oh the horror) some of the threads in the dev section marked [KERNEL] and saw them labeled for 2.3.3 then you could have answered your own question without making yourself look stupid and gain a bad reputation.

I can understand that you guys get annoyed with him if he is just trying to get his post count up I really dont know or care if that is what is going on but come on stop picking on people who misspell unless it is really bad and you cant understand it. But if you didnt understand what the op meand in the first post then you are the idiot not him. I make spelling mistakes all the time sometimes it is because i am not so good with the touch screen and other times it is because I am too lazy to go back and fix it. Just ligghten up alittle some of you guys are tight asses and that is really getting annoying.

Some of his other posts have been damn near incomprehensible. It's the asking questions that have been answered before, and the demanding answers and links without searching, and the one that gets me most, being rude to people who are trying to help.
Maybe it's because I am an old guy but, I just don't think people should act that way especially in a community based forum where people try to help each other.
And he wants to develop a rom and i applaud him for that. But A) he is going to need to do some reading. And B) who is going to flash someone's rom when they can barely read the OP?
I am just trying to help him understand that there is a social code that should be followed.

I tried the faux kernel and my phone would not reboot properly. Either they are not compatible or i did the wrong wipe.

What could we expect...

If LG were to release ICS on the G2X? I see devs making great ROMs for it yet are hindered by a lack of drivers, which I assume would be part of an official ICS update. Any devs care to comment?

Not really. Pricks like him are abundant on forums, even the respected forums here on XDA. Still, just saying "what isn't working now will work" is not enough. With those broken features working, could devs be motivated to step up custom scripts and mods that go beyond even what's available now?

Respected forums? Xda? Maybe like before Android, not anymore now.
A lot of people are just disappointed with the same questions being asked like 5 times when you could just click a page or 2 back and see the same topic already discussed.
We just need an active moderator for these forums to merge the redundant topics together.

I don't know, I got my ass warmed for spamming, but then they hired me to spam professionally. I'm not trying to start anything, mt3g we've been down that road, accomplished nothing. Anyhow, my question is, and I understand basically, but why do you guys worry so much about people starting new threads? Its not using any storage space that would affect any of us. When a new thread is started, no matter if there's a thousand just like it, it promotes social gathering and in most cases, usefull information. But(never start a sentence with this), when you guys run your cruisers down here and go Gestapo on the op's, that's even more useless than the duplicate thread. Now, instead of a duplicate thread with new and useful information, its a duplicate thread with new and useful information that's been cluttered by flamers and rent-a-thread cops. Does it make sense? I'm really trying to be professional here, but guys, listen, I was a mod for 2 forums prior to working for XDA and I'm gonna tell ya, playing forum God got old within 5 minutes. That's the only reason I'm still with the g2x, I'm saying the repetitiveness of useless threads ("how do you update baseband, and how come I hear these noises when I call someone after installing this rom, I'm coming from 2.3.4 I received yesterday.") anything of that nature is what's wrong with this forum.

I'm coming to the G2x from a few other Android phones (LG Optimus V & Motorola Triumph) and it was hard to find the relevant and important info here even though I've written guides & developed for other Android phones before.
There's no need to depend on moderators, just a default thread to point everyone to with a FAQ section (maybe eventually sticky it or put it on the top of the stickied thread). Then it should be updated regularly by a person with good writing skills. or even a wikipage on github that a select few can update so the burden isn't on one person. Anyway I know it's towards the end of the G2x's lifecycle (until official ICS maybe), so none of this may matter, but just suggesting for future reference. Good, clean, & simple documentation prevents a lot of repeated questions.

I tired using the methods in the Sticky to no avail. I want to use Google Wallet instead of what Verizon and AT&T are trying to implement (ISIS).You just know these Greedy A-Holes will charge us a fee every time we use it.

This is staying locked, an will not be reopened for any reason. Obviously the op can't read or search for anything.

CM10 Camera

Hey just wondering if anyone knows when the cm10 camera will get the option to save to external? It seems like such a simple but useful option that they just left out which was on cm9 and i'm sure they will eventually include.

Do you ever do anything besides troll these threads to hunt for people posting in the wrong category? Seriously, I've never seen any comment you've made on XDA that adds value or benefit to any discussion. He should post in a CM thread with 1,000 replies so his question can get buried under half a dozen ongoing discussions in the thread? OP had a legitimate question so he posted in Q&A. But back on track, to the op, ETA's for cm10 are unknown. They're currently working on getting the codebase stable, but once that's done second tier features like this one will be implemented

This was asked on my thread and the best answer is: it's up to you. If it's important to you, see if you can hack it out. Or try to get someone to work on it for you. And I used to give **** to illnevertell, who coincidentally is someone I'd call a friend now. Does he troll? yeah. Could it be called annoying to some? Not sure exactly what this is. I just found it submitted to DevHost. It's the new radio for the skyrocket. just the radio. I looked around, didn't see anywhere else to get just the radio to flash over UCLF6. Note: This is not mine, And it has not been tested.

I can think of 3 reasons:
1) It's already posted in the sticky in this forum
2) I'm wary on anyone posting something in the Dev section and announcing that it's completely untested. There are exceptions, but those are usually reserved for known devs (in my mind)

I agree with some, should have looked harder. Next time when u find something that u think no one has seen. Search for it on Google. That's what I do...

Cut the guy a break, he was trying to help. It is kinda intimidating being on these message boards with over a million people. Being one amongst millions is tough and he wanted to post what he thought was a discovery. He did apologize. His post is no less important than the ones bashing his post. Let's stay on topic here. Instead of arguing shouldn't we give our opinion how good is this modem. A lot people throughout the forum have concerns regarding the performance on the ROMs, which I think it has play fairly well in most of the ROMs I have tried. (Skyjb, slimbean, cm10, miui, orthus 7, xperianceAOKP with this modem.

That's not a bad idea. I know, I've been running it for a few days. I seem to get a bit better service then I did when I used UCLF6 and it like switches to WiFi a tad faster, if that's any correlation.
