I'll try this out to see if I can get it, sell it, and wait for the Galaxy S2 next-gen phones
Though I recently flashed the Galaxy S II rom, am rocking Launcher 7, wave-launcher, and couldn't be happier!
What phone can be extremely fast, have a gorgeous ui (launcher 7), app-switching/shortcuts (wave launcher) and be optimal for media in terms of speed, color, and codecs (netflix, mkv, etc), whilst being highly customizable and still one of the best phones preceding the next-gen phones!?
Not to mention this new keyboard that's free today in the amazon appstore
http://www.droid-life.com/2011/05/1...ee-today-from-amazon-you-better-get-this-one/
It's an amazing combo of a multi-touch keyboard with swype, handwriting, text prediction, and a dragon-powered voice recognition algorithm.
Ever had your dreams of swyping in portrait, and multi-touching in landspace? Get that!

I just came from the Atrix. I thought that I would be OK running the atrix without mods(locked bootloader), but i think i went through with-drawls from CM. Motorola blows goats with their locked blootloaders. Ther stock price is down 10%
Design Gears bricked his phone, that was the final straw. I will never by a Motorola phone again
Loving it too!
Coming from Leo I have found it very similar just with more mpx and RAM/ROM
Bye physical buttons as well.
So far so good (2 days with it)
some testings have showed that browsing speed of Atrix is not faster than Inspire. Proud to own an Inspire.
I agree, it is a great phone. Had it for a week now, it was a nice upgrade from my HTC Aria.
Love this phone too. Coming from 4 years of every iPhone - finally got bored and made the jump.
At first it was like a really bad break up - thought about the iPhone 4 every single day, missed it when I would hold or caress another phone, and wanted many of the features/memories back. Now after about two months, rooting, flashing to MIUI (following weekly builds), cattleprod's Cyan04.7 Kernel, and other tweaks and mods, I'm wholeheartedly fulfilled and more ways then before. Can't imagine going back to that terrible world I was in before.
Don't get me wrong, I have an iPad 2 and wouldn't give that up for the world (or any other Android tablet) though. Apples vs oranges though.
Upgraded from a cheap quick messaging phone

Came from Iphone 4 and I'll never go back. Been with apple for past few years with 3g, 3gs, 4 and never again. The customization of Android makes it all worth the transition 100 times over.
So yes needless to say I love my Inspire 4g! In fact trying to talk buddy of mine into buying one instead of the Infuse. I prefer HTC.

The infuse has about 1/2 the RAM and only 200 MHz more CPU (easily in the stable OC range)
Also, the only bad thing about moving from the iPhone was the apps I had bought. It was SO easy to sync my contacts to Gmail.
I love his phone also. After rooting, custom Roms etc... this phone is even better. I switched from being and Iphone user and will not go back. I am waiting to get my wife one for her upgrade so she can get rid of the Iphone also.

Sadly I had to get rid of mine today I needed the money for my wifes bday, but I'm hoping soon things will turn up and I'll have the money to buy another one...I miss it already. I hope more people buy this phone so they can realize how amazing HTC + Android are...run from your iPhones please.

Count me in on the Inspire love. I've had mine for a couple months now and find it still to be an exceptional smartphone. I haven't rooted mine but I do use custom launchers. Currently using GO Launcher EX with the GoContacts/GoDialer and continue to be amazed by this Inspire.
I can't take screenshots on my Inspire but this is exactly what it looks like from these screenshots of my HD2. The only difference is the taskbar.
Thought this might be interesting to see

Nexus One b/c I was tired of running out of memory for apps or switching to the slower app2sd, and I wanted a better multi-touch screen, and I wanted a slightly bigger screen, and I wanted "4G", and I wanted a developer friendly phone.

The evo hasalot of Dev support. But its aging hardware will be hurtfull for you after a year. Get the nexus just better over all and of coarse its a Google phone so no waiting for a port you get it first

But the evo hardware is going to be far slower in a year than nexus hardware. The Hummingbird processor we've seen in the SGS family is by far better than what the evo is sporting.
I don't have a single concern about my Nexus S (or Epic) not being adequate in a year or two.... I have used an evo now and I already feel that it's a slow clumsy device shoe-horned into a large enclosure to attract the "hummer crowd" ... bigger is better, am i right?
I just got rid of my epic for the ns4g (cracked screen on epic). My fiancée has the EVO and I have to say its a night and day comparison. Battery on the nexus is much better. Everything is smoother, and of course the display is 100x better. The EVO is a nice phone, but hardware wise its a bit out of date.

Ty everyone, the nexus being a Google phone is the big selling point to me, I do like the size of the ebo, my dad has one, but it can get a little laggy sometimes, I still have almost a year to upgrade. But the nex will still be my first choice. Unless the nrxt one comes to sprint, and has ics and dual core p:

Yesterday, I got myself an HTC Raider 4G LTE as I saw it on Craigslist for dirt cheap. I had to borrow money off of my parents as I do not want to touch my savings account. As a result, I needed to sell my Infuse... I know that this sounds as ridiculous, but I think the amount of flashing I have done with the Infuse has already been enough. And it is time for just a stock phone that can perform decently.
I still plan on getting an infuse sometime down the road as Wolfson DAC, development, and AWESOME FORUMS are just way too hard to bail out of. Plus the fact that people here are so much more friendly than any other forum I've seen. Completely unbiased statement.
Anyhow, I would just like to say thank you to the devs especially and everyone else that made my stay with the infuse a memorable one.

I kinda wish I didn't sell the cappy... my gs2 isn't very efficient as a music player; the battery drains like no other. But I needed the money to justify buying the gs2.

And while Nexus devices are quite nice, there are plenty of other devices that are quite worth it. Imo, it mostly depends on the user. (Of course, we all have our own opinion)
